tiny's kernel is recommended for business gingersense rom.
thanks in advance
Wipe your cache and dalvik cache. And install it just as you would a ROM, install from sd > pick file > your kernel

Ill add make a backup of the rom just in case.

Yesterday I installed a ROM for the first time. Today I would like to try a different Kernel. How do I just install JUST the kernel ?

Kernels are flashed same way you flashed the ROM. Put it on your SD card, boot into recovery, wipe cache and dalvix x2, and install from SD card.
will i have to install the rom also all over again ?
No. You wont have to reinstall the ROM.

perhaps this will be of help. this is for CM6, but the steps are the same for Sense ROMs.

Make sure that if u have a sense rom, u have a sense kernel.. if u ever get bootloops just reflash the rom and the kernel will be replaced

So when flashing a kernel or like a new radio or whatever do I flash the same way as a rom?
Sent from my PC36100 using XDA App
As I am somewhat of a noob to all of this.

You sir, are correct. Just wipe cache and dalvik, then flash. Backup before hand incase things go wrong.
Im just putting the roms on my phone, renaming to update.zip, and flashing. Do I rename the kernel the exact same way and all?
Sent from my PC36100 using XDA App
No, please don't rename the roms or kernels. Just go to flash zip from sdcard and find the file.
Will and will not do! Thanks for the help.

Where in here is wiping cache, dalvik, and system and factory reset? Are er to assume those are assumed? No. They must be mentioned. Don't set people up for failure.

Goodmorning!
I have just switched back to stock rooted rom (2.3) with app2SD.
But with integrated app2SD I can only install a few apps, while before with other scripts I could install a lot of them!
Can I flash a custom app2SD script like m2SD, so I can move dalvik and data to SD?
Thanks for help!
