I would assume that the gapps.zip needs to be flashed?

How to flash them?nd which one
Sent from my HTC Vision using XDA Premium App
My guess would be this one (it has been a while since I've ran a GB ROM, but that seems to be the most recent).
1) Download
2) Place .zip on SD card
3) Reboot into recovery
4) Choose "Install zip from SD"
5) Choose "select zip from SD"
6) Find the gapps.zip and select it
7) Confirm
8) Win. You now have a fully functioning ROM.

well without root you can't flash a rom. There is already a su app built in. If not just download it from market. Doesn't need to be 3.0

No it says to enable it in options but ites not there

Use the built-in Superuser app, don't download one from the market.
Its in the "Tools" folder on the home page. then click on Superuser. Then hit menu > Settings > ROOT permission set to "on".

Where in here is wiping cache, dalvik, and system and factory reset? Are er to assume those are assumed? No. They must be mentioned. Don't set people up for failure.

download superuser from playstore, go into settings and in prompt select "allow" then open supersu and hit continue. it should be allowed root access automatically and update, when it's complete, feel free to delete superuser. enjoy!
hit thanks if i helped

Can you provide more details? When you say "install system apps" do you mean directly copying to /system/app ? Or installing a system apk through the package installer? Is root access working correctly for any/other programs? What exactly are you trying to install?

I believe your in the wrong forum. We have no association with JaggyRom
In any case, when you boot into recovery, you should simply flash the JaggyRom zip and then a gapps package. Wipe cache and dalvik cache and reboot.
What is gapps pakage? Where do I get it?
For now, forget about that
Factory reset
Flash the ROM
Wipe cache and dalvik cache
Reboot
If you are missing the play store in your list of installed apps, then you'd need to flash a gapps (Google apps) package.
Also I'll advise you to find the correct xda thread for your ROM in case you need more ROM specific assistance in the future.

Either name jaggy rom .zip as update.zip and use the option "apply update from sdcard" or use "install .zip from sdcard" and choose jaggy rom.zip.
