IT BOOTS!! [SKYROCKET][ALPHA1]ICS 4.0.3- we have liftoff

I however am very interested in learning since I just installed Ubuntu on my laptop. I'll be doing some tinkering, but if anyone has advice for me I'm more than happy to take it.

Ahh..after seeing the skyrocket thread, I see not much at all works.

I actually already had it on my hercules but it was from xboarder and I could not find the right kernel. but it was running. What is working in this? xboarders did not have data or any signal for that matter and a few other things but wifi did work? I cant wait it is only a matter of time now before someone gets it going for us I hope soon whoever does it is going to get a nice donation from me anyway.

Go to link for bugs and further details. Basically nothing works but what you see in the screenshots, it won't really rotate back to portrait mode once in landscape without setting the phone flat and unlocking it again.

yea xboarders 3rd preview has wifi working it was nice i browsed a little, browser is fast as sh%t. anyways that was last week but good job jo and who ever else is on this

Funny how there arent even CM alphas yet these guys are makin progress.

I'm be honest there won't be a fully properly working one till graphics drivers are released and proper source is released. I don't know what is rush to have ice cream sandwich. All the other devices have leaks when our device get a leak you will also start to see ics roms. The hp touchpad has extremely hacked android drivers. This is why cm is probably still not releasing alpha for the certain devices. There not reliable to work effectively and efficiently.

jomiester15 mentioned in his thread that he might have alpha2 in the next few days so we might see call network in his build soon.

The reason there is no cm9 alphas is because cyans team hasn't even started on these phones yet until source drops

oh my goodness yes.

Really frustrating how everywhere I go on XDA it seems they have ICS ports and ours has nothing... Common samsung! Drop some drivers already! We dont need you to build the rom just give us the drivers..

I like the case, where did you get it.

I flashed it and its all true. It will boot but everything on the bugs list is true. I didnt flash a different kernel. It is very unstable but the fact that we got something rolling for ics on our gs2 is AWESOME!!!!!

Isn't that only for apps that you made? The op didn't make this one, he is just sharing what he found. [He could be lying and be the creator though...].
Either way I thought there was a designated thread for cm10 themes. Don't need to post a new thread unless you made it (and have a free version of course!).

I like the theme... I am a newbie here and I want to try and make this theme because I want to use it on my white sgs3. I am now trying to check all threads concerning themes, and how to make one.
I have skills in photoshop, so perhaps it would help me with what I am planning to do. But the problem I have now is to know which is which.
In this case, I want to know which files can I change from the usual dark colored (stock) sgs3 theme to white or light color, so it will look like the above picture.

Until there's a pic of the build name and date, it's BS.

I guess you didn't read the thread, it is supposedly just a test build that leaked out. Being that it's only on Brazil devices I tend to agree.

What about the kernel? If you're taking about the 3.4 version, that's the normal one that comes with the N4
Oh and it seems Google pushed 5.0 prematurely to my device
(Yes 4.2 kernels work in it *cough cough*)

Yeah, probably Google used Morfic computer to compile the kernel

My OS is so far advanced it can only do 3 dimensional holographic screenshots... so unfortunately I can't post them. But trust me...

No one said it couldn't be real. At least as per counting standards, the 2 comes after the 1, so 4.2.2 is reasonable. But until Google posts something on the Android building site/there are screenshots with build date later then 4.2.1 version and a build name later then JOP40D, nothing is being pushed to nowhere.

This would be really freaking awesome since I am just about to get a galaxy nexus
BTW, is it really worth getting?

Everyone suddenly got excited about the point update. That carries nothing more than a few bugfixes.

what does this mean? you can BUY leaked unofficial builds?! lol but really...one of the only reasons i like 4.2.2 is when you pull down the shades you can raise them back up by holding anywhere on the screen rather than just the bottom.
I noticed that the g2 does not do this and it is 4.2.2 and I'm guess LG's 4.2.2 will not do the above.
In any case, let us have the og pro's catch up to the nexus devices!!!! DDDD
