[MOD] CM7 Transparent Statusbar

This mod was created for users who use cm7 custom rom on the zte blade. This mod only changes the statusbar to a transparent one to use with transparent cm7 themes.
To Install:
1) Reboot into recovery
2) choose install zip from sd card
3) Install the downloaded file that was paced on the sd card
4) Reboot the phone
Tips:
1) ADW Launcher
2) Go Launcher
are good to use for transparent statusbar hacks after installing this mod if your launcher has difficulties install live wallpapers and see if that trick works

Using CM7 Nightly257 with Adw Ex. After flashing,device goes into boot loop with the cm logo going on and on. Had to do an advance restore of system in CWM to boot properly again.

And Kannibalism: you might want to revisit the OP...
Transparent statusbar fixes/mods/paches are often build specific and will not work on every cm7 roms... It can be done in a few different ways and also fairly easily --> again go read that post of mine and one or two others on that thread also. But please beware against a-transparent-patch-for-all-cm7....

im aware of the situation and that the files change to be honest it was stupid of me not to include the specific rom i was using for thisi will be updating with every rom i will be using starting from tomorrow

Great theme. Did you by the way inserted alternative animations? Im seeing tumble-in animation.
One negative comment though, the numbers in the dialer seems a bit too thin (maybe bacause of the transparency without adding outline to the numbers?). Besides that, its one ass-kicking theme.

Nothing gr8 u need to do...
Just download---> put in SD card---> reboot in recovery (cwm)..> go to mount & xxxxx ---> go to mount system---->back---> got to install zip from sd card---> select file----> Install---> reboot
Do remember :-
a) This will work on KPN baseband ROM
b) After installation, reboot will take some time, so pls keep patience..

Dude doing the same thing but nothing is getting installed .... i tried some other themes & they are working fine except for this one ... M using Fla.sh ROM X2.3 & also it will be of help if u can tell me hot to uninstall the themes.

Hi..once theme is installed..it cannot be uninstall..the only way is to install stock theme...
Here in this section, in one of my thread, I have uploaded stock flash theme..u can install that theme..ur cell will back to flash's default theme...sorry I cannot post link since I m using mobile app to comments..pls use search option...thx..

Thanks man for your help, & btw i got DARKMIUI theme to work . Also , in the default theme in Fla.sh , the setting menu is completely white ... which was more colorful in Samsung KPN ... any way og getting that colorful theme back !!

Have just flashed. U can see from the last pic, the scrolling bars for adjusting are still in green.
I think you can include this ICS version of Mms.apk as well. This app needs user to manually go to setting in messaging to change background color to black. If not, the textbox will be in DARK.
Attached the screencaptures from this ICS theme and also ICS messaging.

Yeah messaging is good to, off course with some tutorial that you mention or all the screen only get black color

What ROM are u using? This is only for DEODEXED ROM.
Kezra value pack 1.1 which is deodex so not sure what I did wrong

Kezra VP 1.1 the latest firmware update. The framework-res.apk is different. That's why u got the bootloop problem. Try to this theme by fender90.

Yes it's worked as you said after replacing framework apk, the only thing is that battery icon gone green and mms.apk still fc so using original mms.apk.

Hey Bro, this is not for xxlm8 ROM, their framework-res.apk are different. U can fix this easily by
1. extracting out the original framework-res.apk and systemui.apk from the original FAW XXLM8 ROM
2. replacing them with those in the zip file downloaded from this thread
framework-res.apk under /framework/
systemui.apk under /app/
3. Put in to ur external sd card. Then flash the zip file again via CWM.

First i have stopped my project from porting the Darkyrom from Galaxy S to our Gio's But not for always because after my Exams i will start again whit it beacause i have then enough time!
This mod will be better then my other ICS mod!

Guide to get some sort of ICS lockscreen (Real ics lockscreen coming in further updates)
First go to settings--> cyanogogenmod settings --> lockscreen --> style options --> locksceen style en choose ring --> then choose ring-lock style en choose from there holo style ENJOY!
Guide for the Noobs:
- first download this mod/rom from the 2nd post
- then put it on your sd card
- install cwm recovery from your normal recovery by going to apply update.zip from sd card en choose the cwm.zip file CWM added in description
- after you installed CWM recovery go into CWM recovery by holding down the power+home button.
- then go to Wipe data/factory reset en do that after that go to Wipe Cache Partition do that en after that go to advanced tab en choose that the wipe dalvik cache.
- after you wiped your whole phone go to install zip from sdcard en choose zip from sd card then choose ICSGio V2 the click on yes en follow the instruction in the instructions in the AROMA installer.

After a long wait.... RC5 from Team Nyx (previously Team ICSGS) has been released! yeah!
I would like to know if anyone has successfully installed and used the Samsung Addon Touchwiz UX 1.4 from the thread on RC5?
If RC5 states it is a AOSP-build, would that naturally mean that if the Addon was designed to work on CM9/AOKP, it would be able to work on RC5?

I tried them buddy they are not perfect and double some apps and also change some apps like settings is changed to CM9 settings app
If. There just img or what ever files try downloading a icon changer from the market and using the files to change them with or try a Google search there's so many threads about it it will probably come up xda forums first result and just find which one works for you did the launcher work for you okay? When I put my phone on ics I loved it

that pack doesnt work because it change your system ui apk and framework-res.apk...i have made that pack to work on my cm7 to samsunganised my cm7...all you have to do is delete those elements which can cause issue,,,lemme open that pack and tell you what to delete to make it works on what ever ICS rom...
do this:
1)open that download zip
2)go to morph->system->app->
3)delete setting and system ui folder..
4)now go to morph->system-> and delete framework folder
5)try installing it now...it will work...

This is based on Achep's ICS Statusbar layout (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1324924)
Works only with Ron's Cyanogenmod 7.2 stable builds. Do not flash with other roms if you don't want to get into a bootloop.
This mod will look better if you are using ICS theme.

note:
In the USB connected screen, there is no "Connect USB" button,so just tap the android to enable sdcard mount to PC.
instructions:
There are two files included in the download, the patch and the undo patch in case you don't like it. Just extract and flash the patch in recovery mode.
If it doesnt work on first try, flash patch, reboot, flash undo, reboot, then flash patch again.

simply what i am going to say is i had already provided with cosmic so the status bar ( just like ics ) u can try to modify them than working from first

Hey, this is awesome!. But some of us can't use CyanogenMod, like me that I have a Galaxy Ace GT-S5830M. So I was wondering if you could port this to a recovery flash zip for Stock Gingerbread o maybe sharing the SystemUI and Framework-res? I tried to make my own ICS Status bar for my phone and I failed so bad :/
