[Q] Font's - Samsung Epic 4G Touch

How can i install a font directly i to the system so that i can use it from the settings , display menu. I know that there are many apps with root that can do font changing easy but is required to reboot the phone for the font to stick, on the other hand the settings options it changes instantly. That's my Q thanks in advance

do a search for flipfonts. as long as you're running a TW ROM you should be able to download them and install like a normal app, then look under the list of fonts and it will be there.

[Q] Personalize Touch Wiz?

Does anyone know if we can change icons in touchwiz without root access? I like the ability to change our fonts and feel icons should be an option as well but do not see an option.
Thanks

The most that can be done in your case without root is to download a launcher from the market ADW, launcher pro etc.

Thanks for the quick reply.. I'll probably wait now that samsung has released the source code for our kernal.. I'm guessing we'll have ported roms in no time!

We'll have some roms, but the question is how soon. I would assume we'd have to wait 2 more weeks for a rom and probably a few more days for root access. Btw your welcome.

you can change fonts by going under settings display..and clicking the first option there should be something under there to change fonts...and if you want different icons on your home screens download desktop visualizer and an icon pack and put those there instead.

Juggernaut 4.1

How do I get rid of the green in the wifi and signal bars? And how to get the samsung font back in stock?

Unless you know how to edit images, then your only option is to flash a theme for 4.1. Look in the market for a font changer. There is one by a guy named jrummy that has alot of fonts and is pretty simple to use.
Thanks bro! Helped out alot

Smaller Font in Messaging Conversations

I am REALLY struggling with this. I have installed a bunch of different SMS apps but prefer stock (use clipboard, LED function....) Any suggestions how I can do this? Turning the system font size down doesn't change my messaging conversation font. I would prefer to use the default sms app with the Note 2, but is there any way I can make the font smaller than what the volume keys allow me to do?
Even all the way down the messages are huge (I can only see 2-3 with the keyboard open) and like 8 without it open. For privacy reasons I'd also like it smaller so everyone around me can't read all my messages while it's open...
Try the app settings app in the xposed thread you can set the dpi or font to anything you want in any app

Might be a dumb question, but do I need to be rooted?

Never mind, I think I figured out that I would have to... hmmm may be the reason I root. That could be a slippery slope though

You need to be rooted to install the app but once the xposed installer is installed you can unroot and all the modules will still work. The per app dpi is well worth rooting for, you can have a lot of apps in tablet mode

Just install the locker app. It's a separate app from mihome.

what he said, great lockscreen

Ah okay thanks a lot. But, I was looking more for a flashable zip that I could use to completely replace my current lockscreen due to the fact that when I boot the phone, my default(non miui) lockscreen is the one displayed and even sometimes when my device has been on for a while, I still find that it will show the default lockscreen before quickly displaying miui. Is it possible for me to flash this lockscreen to default or will I have to settle with the apk override? Thanks for help

Change Icons on 4.3 Touchwiz?

Hey guys, was trying to change my icons on Macks Rom 5.0, its running 4.1.2 Touchwiz but cannot find it in settings. I am used to Apex Launcher and you can change icons within the settings menu. How do you change icons on TouchWiz launcher? When icon packs are installed they dont show in the App list either. Any replys are appreciated. Thanks!

You need to install a theme that changes your whole entire phone. http://forum.xda-developers.com/note-2-sprint/themes-apps if u go in that section you will see a couple of themes you can use. If I remember correctly the reason that u can't see them in app drawer is because u need a theme changer.
