Im coming from the HD2 side which ill miss dearly lol lots of great dev's on there, but on to the next one ive had this phone for about 2 weeks now rooted and debloated. Im happy to just have go launcher installed will wait for AOSP ICS as my first flash.
Welcome! I guess everyone is waiting for ICS. There's some pretty nice roms here. I'm using Jugg and its really stable.
yup i was using Tytungs ICS rom for the HD2 and i loved it....hopefully Xboarder56 can get the skyrocket version to beta soon so he can port it over to our device

Welcome dude, I came from the HD2 too, well worth it.
Flash before then. When I pull my phone out with some of the custom roms on here the other person generally doesn't even pull their phone out. Unless they want to compare thinness versus the other sgs 2s

More HD2 love here! Took me all of three days before I flashed this phone. Good stuff. No where near the number of ROMs out for this like the HD2, but great ROMs nonetheless.
Came from the Sensation. Loving this phone except for the data connection issues.

Try out Juggernaut & BeastMOD. They're two of my particular favorites. And as someone said earlier, we're all just waiting for ICS...or at least Samsung to release driver sources. The ROMs so far are Stock-modified due to lack of the sources, with the exception of a CM7/MIUI beta.

Well....I really do like surprises, I don't know about you
I been up awake until 6am today, really tried atm. I was working on getting ICS to boot but gave up eventually. Then i started working on miui. I failed couple times but I still had hope. After some tries and errors I finally got it booting.
Pretty much NOTHING works right now and its really buggy but progress is a progress to me. I will try to fix those stuff in the upcoming weekend and then release it for public If they are resolved.
Some of you guys already saying to yourself "Screen shots or it never happened"... Hehe.. I got what you yall need
And yea.. Having couple testers later on wont hurt.

If you go over to Android.dev.us Xboarder has a Ics preview rom. Nothing working but the GUI, but it's fun to play with for a min.

Yep, thanks to our epic dev's over on the Skyrocket, MIUI, and ICS is being worked on.
Not to say your devs aren't great, I personally run a T-Mo ROM because I like it a lot (Revenge of Macnut, but the damn LTE framework issues pisses me off), but I want MIUI so bad, it's the only thing that'll hold me over until ICS is near completion.

you should wait and work it off ICS once it arrives.. Seems kinda late in the game to base it off Gingerbread now.. although I am sure it would be nice...
I have been playing with Ravers build he had started but I think it will be better to wait for source.. just my 2 cents worth..

I agree with you completely... but, would be nice to have at least a GB MIUI as well, though I'm waiting for our leak before I switch to ICS....

yeah I'm still learning the whole building processes so I used this on my NS4g so I figured I would build one for the Sprint GN I havent really tested to much form this build besides making a call or two so I'll need feedback and this repository hasn't updated in a while so the build is IMM76D I may try to update this later for now my focus is on more of my own stuff

IMM76D is what sprint gnex ships with and it was pretty good when they updated to FD02 radio so no complaints on that part for me I'm downloading now will give feedback
Edit: I got it up and running so far so good just like I remember I'll get back to you about wallet, mms, etc

when i had my ns4g buglessbeast was the best ICS rom by far. miles ahead of the competition could be different now but hard to think so. 1 thing i remember most was my gps would lock quick as ****. haha
I used to run bugless beast on my old OG Droid. Glad to see it's still around.

It pretty much looks like the stock rom. With very minor UI changes.
