Sooooo a few days after having the greatest day in battery history, my device decided to go the polar opposites and NOW SUCKS BALLS!
I will post battery stats pics later but to give an example; my battery is now at 39% almost no use and only being idle for 5hrs. Also after a full night of charging my phone would only be at 88%. I keep my display at zero and my wallpaper is solid black. I am currently running the Blend 2.6.2 and have been for a while with no issue.
The only thing strange prior to the issue was I tried flashing the new hitman kernel and it was a mess. I tried via cwm and Odin and both failed. I then went back to stock and started over and all is normal...save this battery nightmare.
I previously did not wipe battery stats due to the controversy surrounding it but decided to let it die, fully charge, and wipe b stats. The result is the same. Today I did get a full 100% charge but a meer 5hrs. later....39%.

What bugs me is I like BLEND and I did reinstall it and the problem was still there. I guess blend suddenly hates my device.

Does this look normal to you guys. I think its a bit excessive.

flash the cm-snap kernel, charge and then calibrate your battery
IIRC, that is normal for Cyanogen. It cuts normal battery usage so much that the display eats more than the rest of the phone together. Hence, the biggest battery moocher becomes the screen, not because it eats more power, but because its competition eats much much less.

no cm does not have the snap kernel. to calibrate the battery you charge it to 100% and then wipe your battery stats from recovery. this should take care of most peoples battery issues.
but i dont see your problem. almost 13hr unplugged is very good for this particular phone.
I usually get android system usage at 1%, hence im freaking out. Help please! Could it be because i use vipernod, v6 supercharged and savagezen kernel?

I would say it could be any number of things, however the question is, what have you changed recently? Any updates, new apps?
Also, with this increase have you seen any decrease in your battery usage? I will have 70+% android usage sometimes but battery doesn't drain any faster. This is a normal thing for AOSP especially. Someone noted that they had high A.S. usage on a stock Nexus 4g.
This may just go away with a days usage, but be sure to check for partial wakelock. This option is in Spare Parts app not sure if its built in to MIUI. The wake lock is what kills your phone, when an app goes bonkers and keeps your phone awake.

True. Miui has updates every Friday. So yeah, i updates last Friday. I switched from tiamat to savagezen just so i can fix the high usage but to no avail. I can't check battery partial lock because miui has battery stats issues right now.

In addition to what imheroldman stated, charging your device will oftentimes cause your android system usage to spike, but 20% is nothing to be concerned with.

This has happened since GB. it happens when you reboot and phone was not fully charged. Bug has been around for awhile

Seems like a FC24 problem. I ODIN'd FC24 modem on my phone. Overnight the battery went "out", the phone shut down and the phone heated up. When I booted it back up the battery meter went up, like you guys.
I just ended up going back to EL29. No problems. I'm on AOKP though, so things may be different in some respects.

I dont know if its normal or not but my touch's battery is always around 35 degree celsius when idle and when i am using the phone it goes up to 40-42 degrees. Is it normal?

I brought my phone into sprint because the back of the phone was super hot and found out that some of the stock battle do heat up so they replacse it for me and no problems since. I now have an extended Matt and have no problems at all stays nice and cool, i'll try to post a screen shot of the Matt I'm using .

A lot of people have reported this - usually rebooting and keeping it out of the sun (that REALLY heats it up!) will help keep it cool. I've also found that turning off the 3G/4G radios when I'm not using it helps - but that's just my personal experience.
THe sun heats it up a lot. I have seen that/. Sometimes when I reboot the battery jumps down about 15-20% at times. so prefer not to reboot
hot batt
Agreed. When I turn off 3G, it tends to help a lot. Also, keeping it out of the sun.
Well, The problem finished after i flashed a custom rom. Now it never goes above 36 degrees.
The mods can close this thread now.
Thanx
I have an GS3 Sprint SPH-L710 using liquid smooth ROM, my battery life don't really last me all day, but whenever my phone is getting to 19-14% it goes completely dead, have anybody had/has the same problem and know a solution for it?

Yep. Use a Touchwiz ROM. Or if your attached to the ROM try using a battery calibrator.

I thought battery calibrating was a myth haha .
I had this problem before as well and switching OS's between TW and AOSP didn't help.
If your screen is flickering at around 15% and then your device cuts out, it also indicates the battery is gone for good.
I'd suggest getting a new OEM battery or go for a third party company like Gorilla Gadgets or iAnker Tech.
But flashing a TW ROM is other worth your shot as well if it'll fix it
