supercharger v6 update 9 what setting do you have? what is best for least game lag

Its recommended to use option 7 and then to run option 20 for Nitro lag nullifier. I used both those settings, rebooted. Now my phones so fast my eyelids flap in the wind.
Also, I overclock my phone just a wee bit to 1.2ghz, with DooMKernel. I use Performance on Goivernor, and bfq on I/O Scheduler. Between the V6 and the oc my phone flies

I know this thread is old but; I recommend Nitro Lag Nulifier And Option 7 Aggresive 512HP and I clock my CPU at 1Ghz and govenor is intellDemand2 and I/O Schedular is Deadline for normal usage but i change I/o Schedular to BFQ when im playing Miencraft cus This enables faster write speeds and minecraft makes saves and etc.. so the maps will be generated faster!,C:
And for gamign i OC to 1.6 Ghz only on Heavy Games and i put Govenor to SuperBad and I/o Schedular to deadline!
Enjoy!

KISS-Kernel

excuse me; have question about this kernel; i couldn't post in the original thread;
by setting the min clock speed to 768MHZ & the max to 1407MHZ, How much voltage does it spend? by setting the min to 245MHZ & max to 1024MHZ how much? i overclocked to 1407MHZ , i saw more smoothness and speed; but i felt that its consuming more power!
is overclocking harmful to CPU? ( always overclocking )
Rom: MY One V RC4.0 FX
PrimoU GSM
Kernel: Latest Kiss Kernel
Hi
Political correct answer:
Of course OC "can" harm your device - like all OCĀ“ing
Realistic answer:
Most One V devices can handle OCing up to 1.5 without problems
but since this may be specific to chip manifacturing there is no
guarantee that it is. Therefore before using any OC you should
test it very carefully.
And also - Of course running the chip at higher frequencies needs
more power. Simply physics .)
In "normal" daily use the difference is not big because the cpu will
not run at high frequencies most of the time. If you do things
like "heavy" gaming this is of course forcing the cpu to run faster.
To reduce the "effect" a little bit there is a kernel feature called
Undervolting (UV) with that you can reduce the voltage for
specific frequencies. Like OC this is device specific. So some
devices can run stable with more reduced voltage then others
BTW: why to you set the min frequency to 768?
This will limit that the frequency cannot go lower then that if the
device is idle. Running at 245 needs of course less power then 768
max
Thanks for the nice info, well, i heard that some users said that the best frequency for " My One V" rom:
Minimum: 768MHZ
MAX: 1407
I'm using "Set CPU" to OC
So setting the min frequency to 245MHZ will save more power, right?

Yes - especially for the time before the device can go into
"deep sleep" when beeing idle.
The only "disadvantage" is that depending on the govener that you use
there might be a small lag before the frequency scales up
Actually it depends if you notice it at all
If you use govener ondemand it should be no problem
if you use e.g. smartassV2 you might consider thinking about
using some tunables that will reduce that behaviour.

Thanks, yeah, i meant for normal activities, like checking Facebook, mail, watching movies ... So ondemand mode would be better

What is your recommend governor to integrate with your Titanium-KISS kernel and what is your favourite I/O Scheduler tweaks, for daily use & heavy gaming?
I'm using smartassV2 & i set my I/O Scheduler to deadline until now, because it's peoples favourite
Should i change it to ondemmand to gain a better performance?
Hi
Actually there is already a lot of information about your question
in the KISS kernel thread.
Especially about how to tweak smartassV2 based on "profiles"

[Q] What app do you overclock with?

I am playing around with some other OC/UV apps other than SetCPU and was wondering, for those who do OC /UV /UC, what app do you prefer?
ive tried out (so far)
SetCPU
Voltage Control Extreme
AnTuTu CPU Master Pro
CPU Control Pro
ROM Toolbox Pro

Is there a way to make a shortcut to the performance settings, under settings?
i tried to make an action shortcut but haven't been able to. I myself don't play with UV often. If i could create a faster way to access the performance settings i would prob use it.

I've had my A100 for a few weeks, up to now I've used AnTuTu CPU Master Pro to overclock and undervolt, hasn't failed me yet, originally used my ROMs built in settings but that began to be a bit tedious, constantly having to dig through my settings for it got a bit old, a convenient shortcut to the performance settings would be just dandy.

The only thing i find built in ROM performance settings lack is voltage control, generally liking my overclock/undervolt, performance is nice, generally pretty stable up to now.

I found overclocking the GPU helps a lot more. There is a kernel for jellybean rom (a.k.a. CM10) and may work for ICS and the GPU overclock helps a lot. Use built in CM over clocker @ 1.5 GHz and GPU @ <400 MHz or whatever speed the kernel builder put it at. The original GPU clock speed was around 350 MHz or something so that is a substantial boost in terms of speed. Other then some heating when playing games no problems and perfectly stable. Battery doesn't seem to drop a bit maybe 1 or 2% faster.

He did one that high? I built that one myself lol.
Good call pulling them down if he did though, not all devices can handle it. The old board did, the replacement didn't take it so well.

Your English is not too bad my new friend. Thank you for your feedback. I like to find out what programs and settings users are using on their A100s. Helps me find different options to try on my tablet.
I love SetCPU and have PRO version as well, but it was causing bad SOD problems on my tablet. I am now currently testing others.

For daily use I recommended same settings like masteril said. For gaming use 1600 Mhz/249 Mhz, performance, deadline.
for daily use, if your using turbo kernel, i'd say for the governor = intellidemand and for the I/O = sio; max clock 1.018 GHz and min clock 184 MHz. I got amazing battery time with those settings just listening to music and playing online casual games and emulators, but sadly Jelly Bean and emulators don't get along very well because most of the "oid" emulators don't work properly on Jelly Bean (not just CM10, PACMAN and Paranoid also) and when ever I touched the touchpads the games stared to lag. So I went back to Gingerbread for gaming, best battery and smoothness
