How do I get Green signal bars??? - T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S II SGH-T989

Thanks for the help with the battery!!
I used the UOT kitchen site and it worked great!!
They have a section for the top task bar.. But I'm scared to mess with it..
I would like to get my signal bars to be green as its impossible to see those silly stock gray ones..
On the kitchen UOT site, they have ones there, but unsure how that works.. There are some that are an entire group of icons..
3G,4G the whole thing..
how will it know which is which?
THANKS!

Rom toolbox i think is the name of the app i have. Its pretty good for changing little things like that. It was a lot more options but I only used it to change a couple of minor things.

Gingerbread statusbar.

Anyone know where I can find a gingerbread status bar with all green icons and percentage in the battery. The one I have now shows a white icon for WiFi and a solid battery icon.

[THEME] Stevekixs Theme

This is my first time ever putting together a theme. I used UOT kitchen just to put something together. Its just black and blue with honeycomb icons.
I think it still needs some work, I'm not sure how to edit the colors of widgets or apps yet.
I am probably going to make some changes as I get better. If anyone has any advice then feel free to PM me.
Features : Custom Battery Icon
Honeycomb Icons
Black notification bar (transparent background)
Dark Blue overscrolls
Other slight Color changes
Kinda ugly I think... But Im sharing it anyway!
You should be able to flash via CWM.
BACK UP YOUR ROM BEFORE FLASHING JUST IN CASE.
NEW: Just edited some of the colors a bit And changed the battery icon.
Screenshots
(Not updated for new version) I will take new screenshots later. I am tired. The new colors are much better I think.
Changes
Please tell me what you like / dont like.
Looks great besides the battery icon, should be blue like the rest. Great work though and thanks!

Its honeycomb colored. But It changes color when your battery is at different levels.
At full charge it matches the rest of the honeycomb icons.
Im working on some tweaks already. I dont like the color of the pop up screens.
I understand, thanks a million, looks great so far. I'm excited to see where you take it.
Maybe I should research this kitchen stuff and take a shot at themes too!

You can do this by using a program like WinZip or 7Zip to open the APK files (they're effectively just .zip archives with a different extension) and changing the files. Its pretty easy save for the part where you have to make new images. Most images used in Android are .9.png files which need to be nine patched. There are tons of threads all over XDA about how to do this. Check it out, mate.
BTW nice work.

[Q] [Request]Taskbar pulldown backround

Is there any themes or mods that have backgrounds for the taskbar pulldown? I just started to work with apkmanager and ninjamorph to play around with customizing my phone. Was just curious if this was out there or if it easy to find and mod.
I wish I had a pertinent reply, but I remember about a year ago phandroid posted a video with a notification pull down animation...idle why devs havent eaten that up..

Thanks for the heads up. Hopefully i can have the whole thing themed up in an update before i start theming the apps. Like it says in the op their are some theming mistakes for now.

+1 for digital warfare. I've always liked this theme.
I'm not fluent on the roms here so idk how different they are. If someone could try testing this on different roms that would be cool. Idk when ill be able to port though.
I'm changing the battery icon to the one in the banner and the status bar also.
Got any icon packs to match? Only seemed to theme messages, gmail and dialer icon. Did some hunting around google

By the way It's a little hard having to switch roms around from skyrocket to t-mobile version. I was wondering if any of you would care to test the new updates for me? You'll be safe if anything goes wrong because I make reverts for each update.
I can test if you'd like?

Ok I'm posting the link. I haven't tested it.
Things to look for :
- Settings icons themed.
- Battery icon changed to one in banner.
- 4g icons themed. Everything on the top should be done. I don't think im going to theme the LTE icons. I actually don't even know if your device has it lol. (I didn't do it for skyrocket either)
- Idk what else
Download : http://www.mediafire.com/?bzqcjptb2he1adk
Revert : http://www.mediafire.com/?4k8441vf0wbhpax
P.S. I will port to other roms. Just give me time. Thanks.
Mossination, I just flashed the update. The 4G icon is themed but it seems to be a darker blue, intentional? The settings screen looks good. Here's some screens :

Oh snap lol didn't notice I themed it darker. I also themed those widget toggle things pretty dark blue. Just glad it worked. Will update OP in a bit. Im keeping things the same for now unless people want lighter blue then ill put it in the next update.

I just stumbled across this thread. The issue is that its not just simple status bar transparency. That's easy, and it's already in the settings menu in ROM Control for AOKP. With MIUI though, you can have the status bar as totally transparent when viewing the launcher/desktop, but it's not transparent, or it's semi-transparent when you are viewing apps like the browser or when viewing the lock screen. So the question is, how could one implement different status bar settings for different views as it is implemented in MIUI?

I was really just trying to find a way to implement a clear status bar on the desk top/launcher on GB aosp roms (specifically, on decks reloaded.) I wasn't so concerned with the status bar in apps, browser, etc. I've tried uot kitchen which was mentioned above, but wasnt successful. as to why it wouldn't work, I don't know.

as i said in the pm's i really think its the way the statusbar is incorporated in the rom, best bet would to be ask in the rom thread that way a developer could give the right answer instead of me guessing at it.... lol im guessing the thread you found didnt work either?

Yes there is. Google search pvyparts battery bar. He wrote an app that does this. Only downside is that u have to edit ur systemui to get it to work. Since every rom is different its hard to make it flash able due to didferent systemui.apks. this is the battery bar mod I added to my cm9 rom.

we are actually talking about the statusbar and making it transparent. in reloaded there is an app for the battery bar and is simple to adjust. but in the rom it has a ICS-like statusbar (all black with the ics-blue signal bars and battery icon and what not). What atljatl is wanting is the entire statusbar to be transparent. Like in the miui and some sense roms that have had the flashable zips to make transparent statusbar.
Gotcha. That is a simple mod in the systemui.apk. just changed either the icon or xml backgroubd to transparent. Again I'm mobile so can't do it fir u right now but will when I get home if ud like
