Is there any version of this that actually works with this phone? When i install the .akp i just keeps saying it has stopped working.
I assume from all of this tha there isn't a compatible version. But would just like someone to confirm this, or if there is something similar which will work.

Well some places say it works for Jelly Bean but most of the support seems to be for 2.3 phones

Then you should search again in Google because here you can't find it I think ...so just use Google search jbed.apk for android 4.x

Nope looking around it still seems there is no 4 support. Dissapointing as it would be great to be able to run Java.
Hi guys,
I own a HOX for few months now, I have an annoying problem with the rear camera, actually it displays and take picture of glitchs like the one seen on the picture attached.
I tried an other camera application & other ROM but it's the same result.
If someone know how to solve this matter please share.
I'm using venom 3.8.0 final.

Hi!
I am totally new with my HOX, comming from the LDPI Samsung Galaxy Fit GT-S5670.
The Problem:
I deleted some -to me- not needed System apks but there has been something I shouldn´t delete, but I don´t know which.
Since that, I have no vibration while using the sense keyboard and when I want to enable it in the settings, the option is greyed out.
Can you tell me which apk I deleted?

Did you delete HTC_IME.apk? Are languages selectable? Just compare the apk's from system/app Rom zip to yours, with solid explorer dual pane for example.
Next time perhaps try romcleaner it safely removes bloatware, highly recommended.

I recently flashed http://download.cyan...Y-endeavoru.zip onto my HTC One X. The ROM works really great and I have only discovered one issue with it.
When installing I followed the steps here: http://forum.xda-dev...d.php?t=2583037
And now onto my issue. The first and biggest one is as the title says. It seems like it will not lock on to the GPS satelites when using Google Maps. I did leave it on to search for GPS satelites for about 5 minutes and still I did not get a lock-on.
I also tried to install GPS Status from Google Play, and this is searching as has been searching for over 10 minutes and still it does not lock on to any satelites.
Any suggestion on how to fix the issue?
Do you read the few last pages in cm thread? Maybe there is a fix if not you have to wait for an update

Hi. Normally I check the CM thread before asking, but I was on the go and unfortunately I did not have the time to check the CM thread. Anyway I noticed that the just released a new nightly about 1 hour ago and I just updated and now GPS locks on within 30 seconds.

Sure it will be. But since I work at this alone right now, I dont have the time to update all devices at the same time.

I have just installed release 2 and resorted apps. Will run for a couple of days and report back.

In terms of observations, you're doing great for an alpha build! I have noticed that AudioFX will stop responding after a little while of listening to music on Bluetooth. This doesn't actually stop the music (or even make the music sound different so not a big issue). Secondly I have noticed the same clock issue that was present when installing custom kernels. The date resets itself and than then throws up a WhatsApp error because it knows the phone can't have gone back in time. Its already been solved by the custom kernels dev's so hopefully just a quick pull from github.
Otherwise I would say a very usable build and I will be staying on this as my daily
Requests: I would have several but one hopefully quick one would be to have the ability to hide the Root icon. That option would fit nicely in Settings, Status Bar, Status Bar Icons.

Got a few questions about where this may go?
1) Will you do any work on the kernel or will you leave that sort of stuff to other devs?
2) Any view on OTA's and Delta OTA's so we don't have to do full ROM flashes?
3) would you consider adding the ability to control the media scanner. Frequency of scan, manual scan and stop scan at boot?
4) I have reduced resolution and DPI. As such the boot animation goes out of line. Would you be able to include the coding to properly select resolution (rather than having to go to terminal) and then change Tue boot animation to the correct resolution)?
Fully appreciate that you are currently a team of one person. Some or all of these may not fit with your vision of the ROM so no worries if you don't take them on board.
