i posted this case earlier yesterday this is a repost. they took them down from their site hope they didnt make a production error.

I email SGP asking if it fits on Verizon Gnex with an extended battery, and they responded it does fit both on Verizon and GMS versions but do not recommend using both versions with extended batteries.

i wonder if this comes with a screen protector. usually sgp gives you a screen protector when you order a case.

Looking at the various pictures, looks like there isn't a cutout for both of the buttons.
Might get this if the reviews say it fits the extended battery and the button covers do not interfere.

What's your favorite lte compatible case? Pics please

Sorry for the double threads but I figured this will be better to get opinions. Can everyone say their favorite case for the lte version gnex? Pictures would be great. Also is it a dust magnet? My last case actually scratched my phone a lot by drawing dust into the case.

True. Its never seemed to work for me though like the posts never really jump in the direction I want. Sorry if this bothers some people I just need to find a new case in >3 days.

my favourite is .....
this is called case mate creature case. this is pure silicon(high quality..not like your usual cheap eBay silicon cases)...lil bit of dirt magnet....the best part is the design engraved on the back of the cover...protects the phone very well...no scratches whatsoever...

Unfortunately it seems that the case makers jumped on the gsm version and assumed the lte version would be close enough.
Even with its problems, the ultra hybrid is still my favorite. It's pulled away a touch at the top and the back does get a little loose when hot, but it's not really that bad. I like how it doesn't have cutouts for the buttons, which I like. It feels the least like a case of any I've seen.

Nope, mine is snug since day one. If you bought it recently, I believe you can get an exchange, but don't quote me on that.

Mine only squeeks at the area of the volume controls close to the screen and if I push on the SGP logo on back it has about 1-1.5 mm gap between back of phone and cover? Is this not the case with anyone else? I just got it today but I really don't want to have to pay return shipping

How much for that case of your sir? where have you bought it, online?
Does it have the sticky feel to it or just the plain rubbery feel?

I have the same thing you said on GSM model. I heard that it fits perfect with the extended battery which I'm waiting for right now. Only reason I bought this case.

Yes, It's kinda loose with the GSM model, mine, which is 6 months old behaves exactly like yours. With the extended battery it fits better. Regards!

Poetic revolution case

Rumor has it that preorder will start tomorrow and the case will be available in about a month.

Im gonna have to pass. I made the mistake of buying the Slimline for my OG N7 and it was terrible. Left marks on the screen and practically fell apart. And I hardly even used the flippin case. Only put it on when I was traveling about. I had it for about 5 months, and by the 4rth month it was already fraying at the edges.

I had the same problems with the slim case. I have had the revolution for my nexus 7 for a long time and it's in Greddy shape.
BTW the new case is on amazon now for $20

FYI, Amazon Just Dropped the Price on this Cae Its now Only $14.99 Free Shipping! , BTW I pre-Ordered Both The Revolution and the Slimline, heck for $20 shipped on both, its bang for buck, I've had Poetic in the past, Quality is not the best but not the worst either;for me it's enough; I'm really careful with my devices I'll bet they'll last me!

As far as the cases go I really, really like the one that I have for my nexus 7. I was looking for a defender case but I wasn't about to spend $70 on one. I haven't really been happy with defender cases lately anyways. After buying one for my note 2 I'll never buy one again.
The revolution case is defender like, can be had for less than half the cost and the button press is easy and it feels good in hand. I bought one of the first runs and it had the blurry screen protector. I contacted poetic and they sent me two replacements..... It took a month or so to get them made amnd to me but they made good. While I was waiting I just knocked the one out and installed a stock on one on the screen.
Anyways ever since I got the new front its been on, clear and nice and I don't think twice about letting my toddler use the tablet.

Awesome. I just checked my shipment and it looks like it was just shipped 12 hours ago even tho I got a email from amazon saying it shipped before that. Kinda bummed, I've been waiting a long time for this case. I've actually been using my old nexus 7 all the time just because I like the way it feels in my hand with the case on.

Ordered one of these myself. Looked very decent. Been looking for something that has decent protection as my kids broke the screen on my first generation that I'm still trying to figure out what to do with. Estimated delivery date is Monday, however I'm doubtful as the tracking days it's been in San Francisco since the 19th.

Is anybody else's screen protector very cloudy? Mine is cloudy and has specs that kind of look like a screen protector placed on a dirty screen. This is the screen protector however, and not the screen being dirty.

Make sure you removed the plastic protector film on the outside as well as the inside of the built in screen protector.

Much better thank you. It was the inside cover that I didn't know was there. There is some distortion, giving a rainbow like look, but that's something I expect I guess from a screen protector that is not adhesively bonded.

That rainbow effect never goes away either. My original nex7 case still has it. It's not bad once the screen turns on.
This case is way better than the original case. only thing I don't like is the horizontal stand, it leans back farther than the original nexus 7 case.

i have a red cruizerlite in the post so i dont know if its worth getting a yellow or white case instead. but i hear the red is more orange.

I have black one for almost 4 weeks and is still in perfect condition, no peeling or whatsoever. I hope it stay that way. Ordered just before new year.
