I was one of the first on the EVO band wagon with Sprint..
After a long time, of promising me 4G and waiting for the Galaxy Nexus to come out for Sprint.. I'm not waiting any longer..
T-Mobile is giving away GSII 's this weekend.. and I'm making the switch..
Looking for some tips and tricks here..
I know the phone is much faster than my EVO..
What are some things I should know about this phone?
T-Mobiles service is lightning fast for a glorified 3G (HSPA)
My EVO is rooted and I'm running Cyanogen Rom..
I would like to Root my GSII and eventually within a few weeks put a ROM on it..
Now.. Is it all basically the same? Rom manager? Reboot into recovery ? RA,Clockwork?
Flash zips?
How is the battery life? I deal with pretty good Battery life with my EVO.. after much time with messing with Kernels and such..
How is the Camera? Pictures looked great from me playing with it...
Duel Core 1.5 CPU ?? Seems awesome.. Galaxy Nexus is only 1.2 or something..
Screen quality as well looks amazing!!
Anything else you guys can tell me about this phone, I would appreciate it ,..
THANKS
Yup, its probably the same but you need to use odin and download mode to root.
Battery life is 12 hours for me with medium usage, and with lil usage it can last up to 30~ hours.
Camera is fine. I personally find it better than any phone i had, just dont zoom when taking pictures.
1.5 ghz doesnt mean anything, Uk's GS2 is 1.2 ghz but atleast 20% faster than ours.
Hey dude, I was in the same boat as you. I had a HTC Evo running Cyanogen, too. I just got my SG2 last Friday and everything was pretty painless in terms of getting everything done. There were a few things that were confusing and frustrating, but it's really really easy to root and everything.
First thing you're going to want to do is follow this thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1332103
The first time you get into Odin and recovery and everything can be frustrating, so you're going to want to keep your battery cover off in the mean time until you can flash the recovery onto there and all that jazz.
Once you've got recovery installed and rooted, you can start flashing ROMs. The ROM I'm using is Juggernaut, which you can find here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1322642. It's got the most features, in my opinion, and runs rock solid. One thing I like about it is that I can reboot into recovery while in the ROM, so I don't have to shut it off, do the key presses to get in there. Makes it way easier when flashing new themes, etc. etc. After putting on a custom ROM, I moved on to flashing a theme, which brings Gingerbread up to look like ICS. I used this theme http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1341526.
In terms of battery life, I'm constantly texting with vibration on, using 3G/4G to listen to music and browse the web. I'm starting at about 8 or 8:30 am and get done with work at about 3 or 4, and by the time I get home I'm sitting at like 35 or 40% charge. This is on the Bullet kernel that comes with the Juggernaut ROM. In terms of the speed of the processor, it's fast. Really fast - better than the one we have in the EVO. The camera is awesome, too. I use a program called HDR Camera+ to do HDR pics, and it's awesome. Cost $3.99 int he market, but the stock camera takes awesome pictures, too. Videos on it are awesome. Here's one I took last night to show a friend the colour changing on my new gaming keyboard using the stock camera program to record: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=geiPjeNjfiU
Sure I'll answer! Hi, and welcome to the sgs2 T-Mobile section!
1: you should know the phone has a way better screen then the evo, hmm probably lacking devs, since there were probably many for the evo. No issues honestly. GPS calls etc. Perfect. Well close to.
2: yes, rom manager, clockwork, etc same flashable zip
3: battery life is something you don't have to worry about, the evo battery sucked, HTC+battery is a no go.
4: camera is ehh, better than the nexus, but not better than the original sgs2.
5: 1.5 vs 1.2 actually the nexus is faster than our phone, but you can't tell much.
6: I mean from the sgs 2 to the evo is a big jump, honestly you'll enjoy this phone!

Yep.. i'm pretty excited..
Few more questions if you guys don't mind..
How does it score on "Quadrant" ?
Finally, since we're all using T-mobile here.. My fathers co-worker just got this phone as well .. and on a speedtest he is averaging anywhere from 4-10 down and 2-4 up
To me, that seems incredible.. Actually, it seems almost TOO FAST.. as if its just going to show those speeds on the initial speed test, then slow down. ??
I use about 4-5 gigs a month, I use Slingplayer,Netflix,HBOGO, sportstracker live, and many other bandwidth dependent programs..
With those speeds all those I just listed would work flawlessly ....
Is it accurate? Are you guys happy with the speeds??
EDIT** Also, I assume I can get rid of the bloatware and other stuff Samsung puts on these phones with a rom?? Right?
EDIT #2.. lol
No ICS roms yet?
Will ICS come out for this phone?? I assume its more than powerful enough.. No leaked versions yet? I mean, the EVO already has one.. Very alpha stage, but still...
I just got the white tmobile version from the sprint version which I loved but both 3G/4G suck balls.....so I made the flip I use sprint for voice only 30bucks a month.....then I got the $30 5GB 100min on tmobile....my 4G speeds are very fast between 11-22mpbs !!! I barley got 3mpbs on sprint 4G........performance wise I knew the processor was different and went almost looking for a lesser experience ..but hpnestly I really dont notice any difference at all...Im happy with the setup I have and making my cell phone plans work for me and not get screwed by carriers

THanks..
I just realized.. NO google wallet for this phone..

wrong
if you run exynos 1.2ghz and compare it to our 1.5, they should run around the same speeds
the amazing part is that wheny ou oc the exynos to 1.6, then it'd be faster than ours when we oc our snapdragon to 1.8
I also just jumped ship from sprint w/ an EVO. Now on T-Mobile w/ Galaxy S II. Loving it so far though i expected a larger development scene for the device, seems like the other GS II models have been getting a bit more love as far as custom rom development goes. Is they're any reason for this? Besides technical development setback's of course.

Pretty much the galaxy nexus and ics development slowed down a lot of development...it hasnt stopped development, just slowed it down. There are still a lot of devs working on this device.

The camera does zoom, use pinch to zoom in and out..
I have about 3 hours of screen on time and play games and what not and do about 14 hours
As for the exynos being "faster" this is just not true.. the processor is not faster nor does it compute any more or less. the only thing it has over us is the GPU is much better. However there is no game that is able to tax what we have so it doesn't matter..
As for quadrants I have gotten between 3000 and 4000 depending on the setup at the time. but I would prefer 2500 and a smooth device over a 4000 and jumpy menus..
And t Mo's 4G < or 3G what ever> is great, especially when you compare it to Sprints pathetic speeds. I get between 13 and 20 mbps down and over 2 mbps up.. not to far off of LTE.
Well said.

I also switched over to Tmobile from Sprint last year and agree about sprints Wimax being pathetic compared to tmobiles hspa. I loved my evo but customer service and 4g for Sprint was garbage. And the sgs2 is by far the best phone out right now

My brother agreed to give me the upgrade on his line if I gave him my inc. So i would also have another upgrade in June 2012 so should I upgrade to the thunderbolt or keep my dinc? I'm looking for some advise as to what I should do.
Sent from my ADR6300 using XDA Premium App
I say wait...there are a lot of new phones coming out. The thunderbolt wouldn't be worth it to me.
Sent from my ADR6300 using XDA App
I agree. The Thunderbolt is not dual-core. Plus Verizon will be getting the Xperia Play and other great phones. Including some great dual-core phones.
Sent from my ADR6300 using XDA App
If it was me I would probably wait for a dual core phone with LTE. My girlfriend has the Thunderbolt and it is not much better than my Incredible other that has the big screen that I like.
I say wait too for something with dual core, 3d cam?, and something with a battery that last longer than 3 hours
Seems as though everybody would rather wait. Lol. Seems like an easy enough decision.
Sent from my ADR6300 using XDA App
I would hold out although for you it's probably easier said than done. Hard to resist I'm sure!
Sent from my ADR6300 using Tapatalk
I too would wait.
I have to ask, what is the big deal about dual core processors? I mean, what are we expecting these new phones to be able to perform that our Droid Incredible can't?
I just picked up a DInc for the wife, and we now have a TBolt sitting around playing Pandora in the kitchen.
She hated it, ( TB ) but being that it was the 2nd phone she got ( she returned the iPhone ) she's stuck with it. She tried to tell me that she would give me the TB for my DInc, but I really like mine and an not willing to part with it just yet.
Long short I traded my old Eris + a ridiculously small amount of cash for what appears to be a almost new DInc and she seems to be happy with it...
For now...
So, I'd wait
Watch this video. Both of these are dual-core. Super fast compared to the incredible.
m.youtube.com/#/watch?desktop_uri=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.youtube.com%2Fwatch%3Fv%3Dh6JZ3Aykr2k&v=h6JZ3Aykr2k&gl=US
Thank me if I help.
i say wait. thunderbolt looks nice but it's not a major upgrade, especially if you're not in a LTE coverage area.
i'm holding my upgrade for the bionic or for the next HTC LTE phone, whichever come first.
The new Sense 3.0 ROMS are keeping me pretty busy that last few days and also has made it a lot easier to not want a new phone right away. Its almost like getting a new one!
I craved the Thunderbolt. I watched forums on it daily during the whole Thundergate release date situation. I finally got tired of waiting. Ended up spending the $700 on a set of recliners instead (I was going to pay full price for the TB).
Then I started sniffing around the DINC2. Same specs as TB only 4" display and no LTE. Not too shabby. Only problem I've been hearing, locked bootloader? Ugh.
i own a new Thunderbolt, and even thought the specs don't look like an improvement they really are. And even though dual core is out there, the test beween dual and single aren't that far off from each other.
Quadrant scores (which is yes invaild technically) at 1.4 oc 2690, but mostly at 2100-2300
Positives
-more ram (768 mb), which makes a insane difference, almost never lags.
-The cpu is 1 ghz but can safely over clock to 1.4 (because qualcomm has stated it is stable clock from 800mhz-1.41 ghz) and i even got it stable at 1.8
-comes preloaded with 32 gb card, nice plus. and even thought it says 8 emmc, it only has 2.8 GB or something to work with, what is still a good amount.
-screen is gorilla glass, so its tough and durable.
-camera 720p recording (rumors of 1080p with new sense roms)
-if u want to video chat then yes this phone has a front camera thats always nice.
-Even though the screen is big, it doesn't feel it. because got some width instead of just length like droid x it looks smaller.
-And o yea LTE which is insane, almost as good as Wifi N in some areas.
Negatives
-Battery Battery Battery Battery Battery SUCKS. But i upgraded to ginersense 2.1/3.0 mods and my battery life is insanely good all of a sudden.
-$250 for a phone is expensive, But Samsung LTE Charge is 300 and tech specs are same if not worse in some aspects.
-Stock comes with 2.2 but with root gingerbread is easily available.
But with any phone you got to buy it for your needs, so if you need battery throughout the day, dont even bother, but if you can lug around batteries or chargers, its a must upgrade.
Wait for sure.

yea definitely would wait. i have a feeling this summer we will get some sweet dual core phones, and there isnt any point in getting anything less than the best out there.
+1 for waiting. I'm perfectly happy with my Dinc until something with better hardware comes along.
Oh yeah, just wait. It's what I'd do if I had the option.
Agree

My brother has a Thunderbolt, it's pretty nice. As long as you root it, and do a few tweaks with lower voltages the battery life is pretty good (better than my incredible), but once you turn 4G on it'll be significantly worse.
I'd still say wait, unless you really want to jump into a new phone. Who knows when another comparable phone will come out.
The Thunderbolt is pretty large too, some people like that since it'll be easier to do things on- but personally I find it just more of a hassle to carry around.
Hey guys, I'm planning on getting this phone tomorrow so I just wanted to start a thread to see what people think about this phone. Don't need quadrant scores or anything like that. Just what do you guys think of that phone after a day of using it? Thanks guys!
I'm going to have a seat in this thread.

Were to start....
The phone is just Beast. Responsive, smooth, powerful, clear, beautiful ect. ect. ect.
I haven't tested the Amaze but i have read up on it, the "cons" that i have read other people say about this phone compared to it seem to be pretty quickly decided and kinda biased (my own opinion please don't beat me for that) in any case I didn't sleep much due to my phone (mostly trying to stay awake to kill the battery to so i can give it its full charge) but i'm not disappointing with the SGS II at all.
I also have the SGS 4g, and when i got that phone i was thrilled, development for the phone was well under way by the time i got it. and i personally think the SGS II is a perfect successor.
As for the specifics, you can find all the info elsewhere

there are many video reviews on tmonews and mobilesyrup
you can see them by yourself and judge, or better yet, go to any tmo store and try it out yourself
I bought the phone yesterday and am loving it. At first I didn't like the resolution since I'm coming from a Sensation which has an amazing resolution. But the larger smoother screen on the Galaxy S2 is pretty damn nice. The phone is blazing fast and typing on this is so much better than on the Sensation. Swype responds quickly and I'm just loving the smooth feel of the screen.
The only issues for me are that there is no WiFi Calling yet and the resolution. But I can get used to the resolution and WiFi Calling should come sometime soon.
Its the 1st phone I've loved since the Nokia n70 days. And that's a long time.

Simply put, the phone is incredible.
Go into it with reasonable expectations and you'll love it.

Gotta add one more amazing thing about this beast. The data speeds are way better than any other phone I've ever used. The Sensation would give me about 7-8 Mbps max. I've already hit up to 13 Mbps on GS2.

i got up to 22 Mbps Down and 3 Mbps up
Hey all are the GS2 from Sprint and att superior to our tmobile version? hardware wise? I am new to rooting and all, and I just rooted my phone and it runs super better with all the bloatware removed.. My antutu bench scored like 5460. is that good? and when I freshly reboot i scored a 3800 in the quadrant. anyone know when an OC kernal will be out?
first off all benchmarks really don't mean much. they are cool to tote around but in the end of the day it makes something better than another.
lets just say that hardware wise the processors are faster on the sprint and att&t. Not stating they are but lets just pretend. What does that really mean? It'd take 0.1 seconds more to open something on the T-mobile. wow is that really relevant?
lets talk about things that matter. screen size. attt is smaller. fail for me. some might like a smaller phone and think 4.52" is too large. if it is go attt. Now sprint is big also. So what other differences is there. More roms on sprint. at least right now. that should be important to people on xda but the phone is young. I think you only need like 4 good roms anyway. Once we have those it'd be different.
really is a slight hardware difference important?

Touchwiz is hardware accelerated for mali-400 which is more powerful than are gpu. The adreno 220 have better shaders and renders than the mali-400 but the mali is still more powerful. Our version of the galaxy s2 is not hardware accelerated like the other ones. Snapdragon S3 processors are optimized for battery life. Being asynchronous processors meaning even though you have a 1.5
dual core in your phone your phone is never actually reaching 1.5 in both cores at the same time. Both cores work independently from each other. This can make things lag as both processors scale differently from each other. But if programmed correctly they are on the same level with exynos processor if not better.
Thanks! Yes I agree I love my phone, and it runs every single app including every game like a champ, and I do love the bigger screen. I cant wait for more roms to come out for our phone. Anyone know when we will receive a OC kernal to start over clocking it?

overclock? is there a reason to overclock except for (useless) bench marking? I'm still trying to find a game/app that this phone has a hard time running. The game deadspace runs 100% flawless!

Your right no need for overclock this processor is one of the higher clocks and we still get better battery life compared to the others variants. Dead space is a good example on optimization for the gpu for us. As soon as we get some kernels and optimized roms are phone will be sitting right next to the other beast.

This. The big difference from a UI perspective is the lack of hardware acceleration on the TMO version. In all likelihood, it will still that way as well.

show me some one that gets 42mb. show me someone who gets over 20mb consistantly.
In philadelphia I get 3-5mb with sprint 4g. I get 4-6mb with my gsII. Other cities may get other results
I can say from personal experience that the Sprint version kicks the snot out of this one. Wish I never sold mine and switched to this. but I couldn't pass up 30.00 a month for 5gb that I can actually use.
The Sprint version has barely any lag at all. Using the Tmobile one, it seems so slow that even my Nexus S can walk right by at times. I am seriously considering returning this and getting the htc Sensation or G2X. That's how much it bothers me.
Heck, if a fairly priced new in box Tmobile Android pops up on Craigslist, I will pick it up right away. 560 with tax for something that lags about the same as the Nexus S doesn't seem reasonable.
I know some folks are going to say benchmarks and all. But this is reality for me. I am currently using the S2 and the Sprint NS4G until the port finishes.
Oh and this morning, I did hit 23mbps on a speed test. But to be fair, it was 8am on a Sunday morning. I average anywhere from 3-17mbps where I live.

Yep, this is pretty much the trade-off. With the optimizations going on over in the Dev threads, I have been able to get this phone to behave a fair amount more smoothly, but it's still pretty much a joke compared to the exynos versions.
On the other hand, my data speeds absolutely crush what I was getting with Sprint's wimax in NYC, so there you have it.

The higher the theoretical top speed, the higher the real-world speed. Bottom line is that the tmo version is faster thanks to the processor's ability to run faster and tmo's network being way faster than both Sprint and ATT.
And to the guy who is having lag issues, I'm sorry man, that's not normal at all. I came from both the Sensation and G2x and while the G2x was the faster of those 2, my Herc blows both away. Maybe try an exchange before you downgrade back to the Sensation or G2x?

He's comparing it to the exynos SGS2 tho -- no amount of exchanging is going to make the TMO version look any better in that comparison.
This thread makes me sad I sold, my international exynos version for this
I was using it on att gophone $50 unlimited plan, getting 800 haha, which was ok for simple browsing.
Their prices are ridiculous so signing with.then is out of the question.
after owning it 3 months I sold it , and used the money to get this so I can be on a plan with high speed data
I miss hardware acceleration, and some games running very smoothly.
I liked the big screen, capacitive buttons, and Data speed.

I miss the high graphics, but realize that good games aren't made to run on one device. If a good game comes out, developers want that game to run well on all devices, so long as they meet the sudden requirements.

Sorry for making so many threads but hey, I'm sure there's other looking for the same answers

FTFY
Plus huge screen, light weight, samoled screen, battery life, RAM, battery life.
but yeah.. other than if you flash a similar UI, there isn't much difference in appearance....
Yo, I understand it's a huge improvement from the HD2 but what you can do on it isn't really much different unless I'm missing out on high tech gadget ****, so that's where you guys come in and enlighten me!

Dude you're making way too many nonsense posts here on XDA, ie: you answered your own question in your original post.........

re
I switched from a HD2....but will soon be going back.
The differences....
CPU, RAM, Capacity, Screen, BATTERY LIFE !!!, Lightness, 4G, Dual core speed !
However, this phone is useless without data. My plan only works on the HD2.
Its just simply a sexy phone, who doesn't dig that? Specially if you have the white one imo.

Differences? Its all upgrades more than anything. Its like comparing a 90s vehicle with a new 2012 model
I too come from an HD2 but I would never go back. Sure development was super crazy back there but its worth it. I hate the CM7 look now, which is what I had on my HD2. ICS, though they have it already is not stable and who knows when it will be. Even then, the biggest turnoff on the HD2 for me was the poor display brightness. It was impossible to see anything on it if you put it under direct sunlight and thats when I used it the most.
Also, I don't understand how your data plan doesnt work with the SGSII. I'm still rocking the data plan I had with my HD2 and it works fine.
Yea I came from a HD2 also, dude this phone is WAY better in every aspect, we where just saved by GREAT developers.

I have tzones 4.99 unltd plan. It worked on my E71 and HD2, but doesnt on my GSII, due to the fact its not a "4G" plan

I've never heard of an HD2 specific data plan... I to just upgraded from an HD2 myself and data is working fine. Sometimes it takes 24hrs for data to kick in (at least that's what a CSR said when I activated my sim).
But n e way, Going back to the HD2 is a SERIOUS downgrade hardware wise.
He's referring to his phone not working with the t zone plan because he has the tmobile version. I guess he's cheap and likes edge speed vs 15mbps

Maybe it has to do with the SIM? The phone comes with a new one to enable wifi calling. I get EDGE on mine and that is what I got with my tzones wayback when I had it. I've had it drop to G (GPRS) as well on dead zones.

I personally am a little let down with my S3. It may be fast but has some minor issues.. My power button gets stuck if I press it at the wrong angle in the lower area and the power button squeaks sometimes. Then some keyboard lag randomly isn't the best. The quadrant scores vary from time to time. But it does work well besides that and I feel is one of the best phones out there. Anyone having some similar issues? and What do you guys think about the s3?
And I'm sorry if there is a post for this already. I'm using the xda app and the search doesn't work well.
You may want to have sprint check out your phone and either fix it for you or replace. I've had zero issues with the power button. As nice as the phone is, you shouldn't have to deal with the button squeaking or sticking.
My home button has been solid since I got it. Has a nice click to it. As for keyboard lag and varying quadrant scores, those may be attributed to the same problem. When I was running stock I'd get the same problems too. Once I rooted and installed NoFrillsCPU Control I enabled "prevent changes from other apps" and haven't had any lag since. I think it still clocks down the CPU when it runs too hot though.
Wouldnt i be charged? and its my power button. not home.

You shouldn't be if you have TEP. But if anything it should be covered under the manufacturers warranty, as long as they can replicate it.

I'm dissatisfied in the same way that I'm dissatisfied that my car doesn't get 200 mpg and fly.
In other words, it's an awesome phone, best I've ever had, but I still want the next great innovation. ......

Agreed. This is the first phone I haven't felt compelled to root. It's been great right out of the box.
By far, the best phone I've ever had. I've had it for over a month now and I still have trouble putting it down.
i have 2..my 1st(white1) works very well...my 2nd works very well however it has a power button issue..it is almost flush to the phone..it works and is responsive but sometimes i have to hit it twice and pull it back out..(the 2nd is blue)
I haven't been able to get the greatest battery life out of it. Seems to drain a few percent while idle. On my EVO LTE that things battery life was ridiculous good! I see some reloading too if I am in an app and then back out; more like a quick flash like a quarter of a second where everything disappears then reappears real fast. LI13 stock rooted is my best battery life so far - 58% right now 14 hrs - 1hr16min screen on. I get some 3G reload too at times where it'll say preparing network while loading a webpage or app etc. Looking forward to LTE cause 3G is pathetic and Jellybean, and Myn's Warm Rom!
Best phone I ever had. Solid and fast. I only miss my slide out keyboard from my Epic.
My best phone ever. No hardware issues at all, great battery life, good response, design, etc. Now just hoping we get JB in timely fashion and should make the device even better.
Personally, can't stand touchwiz, but love Samsung hardware and how much easier it is to root and put stock on. Unlike HTC, Sammy actually releases source. Haven't had any issues with this device, I do like it. I gotta say though, I did like new sense on the evo 4g LTE, but sold the phone due to such horrible multitasking and development being a step behind.
I would end up selling this one if cm10 wasn't out though. Just wouldn't be able to use touchwiz lol. Not to say that touchwiz sucks, I just do not like it, personal preference.

I've been thinking hard and long about this the past could of weeks since the Note 2 rumors/announcement. I believe I'll be getting the S3 as I don't need a screen as large as the Note 2 will have and from my comparisons of the original Note vs the S3, I feel that the S3 feels better in the hand. Well, that and I have my Nexus 7 with me everywhere.
I am really enjoying my phone. Best one yet on android. It was funny comparing my s3 to iPhone 5. Oh they try so hard yet cant come close to our coolness. Its like that one cousin or distant family member thats always showing off Lol. Only issue i found when upgrading to latest sprint built, my battery doesn't hold as much. Anyone else have an issue?

Yeah i can say im very satisfied overall, other then 1 minor issue which i can live with by rooting is that u cant transfer any of ure files to ext sd because of that darn ics sammy crap they pulled. Button works great no problems there with getting stuck or any squeaks. as ufor ure quadrant scores, scores arent always accurate plus score level doesnt mean a thing at all nor should it matter, it doesnt tell u anything nor its gonna prove anything....now why do u get random socres, its because ure GS3 is throttling back and forth. why is it doing that, all GS3 phones do that even the GS2 phone did that as well, is something that sammy did in order to prevent the phone from overheating because of the extra power its packing and to give u a better battery life without loosing much of the speed its giving u. now there are ways u can stop the throttling and have full power but i havent found it yet. the lag even if the phone where to throttle u should experience any lag, i havent atleast so yeah u might wanna take it in for inspection. i rooted only because of increase battery life and ofcourse to make my 64 gb ultra mobile class 10 microsd into an internal memory for my phone it worked like a charm. i believe the galaxy S3 is the best thing ever happen since the galaxy S came out.
TAKE THAT APPLE URE PHONE SUCKS. LOL
I am completely satisfied with the Gs3 and have had no problems after rooting it. Had a few minor complaints with the stock ROM but the phone itself was awesome.

agreed, i cant either, if i could marry it i would, i love this phone. make sweet sweet love to it...lolz:laugh:
jellybean with lte perfect. camera in low light isn't the greatest but I'm not complaining daylight pictures more than make up for this minor imperfection Samsung finally nailed it. quad core would have been good but after seeing the comparisons between the international version and ours i think we came out on top a s4 chip faster then tegra3, 2 gigs of ram + Lte. If there's any lag custom roms solve everything.
