Anyone else having this problem?
How can I fix it?
Thanks in advance.

If you have the problem parsing package message it means you can't install it simply because it's not compatible with any android version lesser than 4.0.x...
So no CM7 for instance

Not so awesome as i expected.. looks alright and has some neat features, but scrolling and zooming seems pretty un-smooth. It opens pages fast though.

Anyone got a swype apk for the g2 or know where to get one?
Go to Swype's website and sign up for the beta. They'll let you download the newest version.

are you using a custom browser (ie dolphin?) sounds like you've set the user agent to something other than Android. easy fix. I had to change my dolphin HD user agent back to android (I usually use desktop because I can't stand the mobile versions of websites) to dl the swype installer, then I just changed it back.
here is the latest beta from swype read to install multi langue thats why its 11mb
just place on sd card and go to file manager and click on install should work perfect

Can someone post the new Skype 2.1 APK? It now officially supports the SGS II but probably because I am running a custom ROM, it does not show the download option in the Market.
Sent from my SGS II
I wanted the same thing, I can see it in the market but when I go to instal it I get some package not properly signed error.
Try again. It's quite a big file (9.2 MB) so it will take a while
I just installed it successfully on my SGS2

I wouldn't have thought so its just no one with the apk would come forward and upload it. I wasn't implying it was illegal or even that i got it from an illegal source.
Dont confuse yourself.

Can you tell me how did you do?
I'm one of the translators of S2E and I'm not good in Android App Dev (know nothing LOL) but if you want we can mod it from scratch.
Why would you build from scrach once it's done?
Other question: do you have Hungarian translator? If you don't, then PM me, I'd do it happily.

yes and am on phone only so no PC cab you tell me a way of how to do a logcat now.
PS so it's just my phone I guess.
In terminal: logcat > /sdcard/log
/sdcard/log is what you need
Would be nice with some kind of installation instructions or something, when trying to download the s2e.apk file i end up with a zip file, doesnt feel right, or is it?

It worked better with google chrome, for some reason Internet explorer downloaded it as a zip file, so now i will give it a try. sorry for taking up your time
Ok installed it, really newbie question now, what does it do? I thought it would make use of the sdcard as an internal space but no numbers points at this. I'm completely new to the gio scene so have never used a similar app, please someone explain?

Great work, but one bug: Setting a read ahead buffer from S2E doesn't work. S2E creates an empty file without any value at /data/local/s2e_config/.read_ahead.
