Chrome beta in MarketPlace for ICS devices!! - Samsung Galaxy Nexus

Our Galaxy Nexus just got better!!
Early thoughts: Its faster than the stock browser. Adobe Flash is not yet supported. It has a nice tab design.

No need for apk.

apk is needed, cause app is not available in all markets. Here's topic in app section: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1485420

Crap ... is this U.S. only again?
I am in NL ... and it is not available here ...
Tried to use the link from the Market, but it cannot be installed on my Galaxy Nexus ... grayed out

Flash does not work with this Chrome beta.

There is no full screen browsing? It's not smooth scrolling and I can't adjust without the Quick Controls the stock browser has.

Not US only, found it fine here in the UK

Too much RAM...
Sorry, but 60 MB of my precious ram... no thxs...

not much better than stock browser. No way to hide top bar.

Lol what are you talking about? When has RAM been an issue?

I am completely digging the Chrome Beta. Not too many complaints seeing that its beta so it can only getter from this point on. But its good enough to be my default browser!

Really like the look and feel of it, but the tab syncing isn't working perfectly for me. It only syncs one tab even though I have several open.
The glory of Beta I guess

Is this the same market interface as Honeycomb? Looks good on a tablet but don't know if it translates well to a smaller screen? Is the roll back just to reinstall the old market

It should just be a case of re-instating the backup you made of the original apk, and then a restart.
it is slow on my galaxy s2.
what about yours

Please not request warez applications.
tried it out (it's still on my phone, in fact). the concept is sound but the execution is flawed. i liked the idea of app groupings, but the default ones provide a very narrow choice and i could not figure out how to add more groups. also, it opens All Apps by default. unless your phone is over spilling with apps, why not just find what you're looking for in All Apps
at the moment, it feels like a novelty but it can be improved
Tapaspoken by my GT I9003
The paid version is out, right? I would not mind buying this thing if I were to be so much concerened about looks!

Yea its only available in the USA at the moment. But there is a working alternative to get it running in any country. You gotta get a PC app called "Tor" and change to a US node. Once that's done a browser window should pop up and then all you gotta do is head over to the google music site and sign in with your account. Once you accept the terms and such you can get rid of the Tor app coz its done and you can know use google music from anywhere in the world, upload 20,000 songs blah blah blah...I just did it and it works like a charm

Just curious, how come you don't use NFC Task Launcher? I find it more useful than Samsung tectile. You can make NFC toggles and use with Tasker.

:good:
I had some problems with the NFC Task Launcher and noticed that the Samsung Tectiles is a little more responsive to the tags (at least on SGS III).
New Version (3.0) Was released Today, if someone could be so kind as to post it for the rest of us not living in the States or Canada.
Thanks in Advance
Here you go.
