I own a Mz600 Xoom, and running nightlies mz604 rom (nightlies 56), and now should i wipe all to flash EOS 1.0 stingray (Mz601) or EOS 1.0 wingray?
Finally! Downloading and flashing immediately.

No, if you're on an Eos nightly build, generally there is no reason to wipe.
Hi, for mz601, this v1 is same with nighties #24?

There are still many more features I want to implement, however you gotta release something at some stage
Hmmm... wanted to update from nightly v17 to this 1.0.0 - with flashing gapps 10.5 again (and without wipe) ... but it stays at the bootlogo (rotating eos-logo)
Edit: Everything is fine now - just needed the new version of the revendel.zip (Post) (with SMS/MMS/Sony Bravia Engine etc.).
THX for ALL - Great ROM!!!

Completely agree! The masses were getting restless and beginning to bleat! This is a terrific new phase in the forward Momentum of our device and as a community with As stated above, DEVS THAT LISTEN (when they can and it's appropriate of course)
Lovin it!!!
Been following all the nightlies and wrapped with the progess.
Great effort!!
This is great news appreciate the work..
This will no doubt mean the end to nightlilies but will you guys do like weekly releases or whenever they done they will be released sort of thing? Nothing meant by this post by any means just asking is all

Updated to 1.0.0 from v63 wingray without wiping data, system and stuck on motorola dual core boot logo. Now trying to wipe everything and flash again.
Still stuck at the same motorola logo. Even tried to delete cache and dalvik before/after flashing. Still no luck.
how do I scan a barcode using my Xoom?

Hardmilk ROM has been built by myself with a few modifications/tweaks added to tune it to just how I want! It's my own daily driver, and as such, I'm not going to be putting in features/mods which I won't use or need, so it should remain pretty clean in that respect! I know there are already a good amount of ROM's available which are built from AOSP, but I just thought I'd share, even if it's not bringing anything "new" to the scene, it may still appeal to someone who wants something not overly-modified.
Changelog on Post 2
[disclaimer]
I'm trying to keep this as close to the original AOSP sources as possible, so I've forked directly from Google on all sections of the ROM, but there are a few repositories which I've forked from other projects (unavoidable really and I appreciate the dev's mentioned in the credits for sharing)
Other than that, all other modifications to the source I've done myself, based on tips/tricks obtained from here on XDA Devs, so I shall also credit those responsible for the inspiration/tutorials!
[/disclaimer]
The following screenshots are from how my phone is currently set up in regards to Launcher layout, so a new installation will have a different icon layout and default background image

Motorola Xoom
Eos is an android custom rom for a wide range of devices. We support phones and tablets alike. From the Motorola Xoom, to the Samsung Galaxy Nexus, to the Asus Nexus 7.
We proudly base all of our modifications off of the Android open source project, and try to (whenever feasible) develop all of our modifications without basing them off of others work (kanging).
Even though we try our hardest to ensure that every single build is as stable as possible, we can't guarantee that every build will be stable. However, most of our users agree that our nightly roms are very much stable and are considered "daily drivers".

Wow that escalated quickly. Thanks Team EOS.
Sooo keen on trying this out!
Got a used Xoom, rooted it and waited for a good costum rom with JB.
Was afraid of the "unstable/buggy" cm7 and the "nightly" TeamEOS..
But now, finally a stable!
Thanks!
Awesome work EOS, very much appreciated

What kernel is provided by default with stable EOS ? standard or o/c ?
My xoom is fully stable on 4.0 or 4.1 but as soon as I was using EOS or other roms using a non standard kernel, device was rebooting or freezing.

I'm on the latest nightly (EOS-wingray-20120923-146).
Do I need full wipe before flashing this one?
Step 4 in the OP might explain it, but I just need to make sure - It's my wife's Xoom . Thanks in advance.
Finally ! .. statusbar mode in the menu power .. Thanks for the work ..

No.
Not that I know anything about the XOOM but I'm guessing I picked a right time to buy a XOOM right? As soon as I get my SD card from Amazon and root the device I'll try to flash it and give some feedback later on.
Thank you!!

romdroid, I just flashed with cwm absolutely no problem at all
Hats off to Team EOS (formerly Tiamat) for their dedicated support to this device. I've been on EOS 3 Nightlies since they started and to be honest, they've seemed stable for as long as I can remember. But of course, its always nice to see "official stable releases."
Great work, downloading with goo manager now.

TWRP is a touch based recovery. It was ported to the Xoom a while back and is a really nice recovery. Your cwm should be fine to install from but I'd recommend getting TWRP.
stable releases are always nice to see, thank you Team EOS!!!
edit: nvm
ADW Ex transitions
Updated from EOS 2.0 stable without troubles.
One wee problem is that ADW screen transitions don't work anymore... don't know if this ADW JB compatibility or not. Guess it could be with the JB reworking of the frame buffers.
Awesome
Hi, I just recently rooted and installed the US Eos rom for a friend's tablet. I was wondering if this rom supported OTG because that was the main reason for rooting his tablet. If it does how do I use it for say keyboards, mouse, usb drives?

Welcome to SentinelROM for Samsung Galaxy Nexus - maguro. Compiled with Linaro toolchain from modded CM10.1 source. Android 4.2.2.
With over 160,000 downloads to date, this is one of the most popular ROMs for Nexus 10, Nexus 7 Nexus 4, SGS3, SGS2, Note 2 and HTC One X, and after a month of hard work and optimisation, I am happy to release it for Galaxy Nexus.
Read what people are saying about SentinelROM.
This ROM is compiled from CyanogenMod 10.1 with all the features you get in a CM10.1 ROM, plus the following features.
Compiled with Linaro toolchain for extreme performance
Zip Aligned
LMT Pie Controls.
Compiled from latest CyanogenMod 10.1 source by me, not a 'cooked ROM'.
Improved Web Browsing performance
Improved 3D gaming performance
Amazing battery life
Additional theming and UI customisation
FAST support via this page and our Facebook Page
________________________
This ROM has been built to enhance the CyanogenMod 10.1 experience, with faster gaming and web browsing performance (no choppyness in Chrome too!).
Countless hours have been spent making tweaks to settings to squeeze the most performance I can find out of this ROM while still providing excellent battery life and without the dangers of overclocking and kernel level tweaking.
I compile this ROM and Kernel from the latest CyanogenMod source code, add my various tweaks and adjustments, then test for stability, so you get all the benefits of CyanogenMod 10.1, plus my tweaks and extras, all without the instability and inconvenience of flashing CyanogenMod nightlies (which are not designed specifically for the Nexus 4 like my ROM is.
The kernel source is available from the CyanogenMod's GitHub.
Please note that I do not own a Galaxy Nexus. This ROM is tested on my Nexus 10, compiled again from source to suit the Galaxy Nexus and tested by my lovely tester team, then released for you to enjoy. Therefore I ask that you please report any issues you come across in this thread so I can do my best to sort them out ASAP.
________________________
________________________
Boot Animation is broken and only shows the first few frames, then a black screen. This will be fixed in the next build. Device still boots as normal
Note: On CM10.1 ROMs, to access the internal SD card on your device via USB on your PC, please go to "Settings" - "About Tablet" and tap on "Build Number" repeatedly to unlock "Developer Options". Now go to "Developer Options" and enable "Android Debugging".
________________________
If installing for the first time:
To install this ROM you will need to have an unlocked bootloader and a custom Recovery such as TWRP or ClockWorkMod installed (personally I recommend TWRP, I have had issues with restoring backups using CWM).
Copy the downloaded SentinelROM zip to your Internal Storage.
Boot into your custom recovery
Back up your stock ROM
Factory Reset and wipe Cache and Dalvik Cache
Wipe system partition
Install the ROM
Install GAPPS package
Reboot - First boot may take up to 5 minutes
Important: After installation you will be asked if you want to turn on CyanogenMod Statistics, please leave it off as this is an unofficial/modified build.
Note: Use of titanium backup to restore apps and data from another ROM is not recommended, and is the source of 90% of user issues, especially when it comes to battery life. Do so at your own risk.
You may flash other kernels as you wish via recovery. Remember to also flash the correct libraries for any 3rd party kernels. Instructions will be given by the Kernel author. NOTE: Updating the ROM via OTA will also overwrite any custom Kernels you have installed.
________________________
A huge thanks to my Nexus 4 testing crew! You guys make this ROM possible! In particular Max, Vangelis13 and yyz71
Thanks very much to all those who have answered my questions through the process of creating my own ROM, you know who you are.
CyanogenMod for their outstanding work. Full credit to them for the bulk of this ROM.
OTA-UpdateCenter.pro for their OTA database support and OTA Updater app source.

Fair call. It's always a bit hard to break the ice on a new device. Especially an older one as people are more set in their ways.
If you're interested in reading what some users are saying on other devices, check out this link
There's always the Facebook page too which is full of feedback.

Not at this stage. But I'm always on the look out for additional devices to add. I have to be careful though, because if I bite off more than I can chew, I'll end up not being able to offer good support. It's hard to get the balance right sometimes.
STANDARD DISCLAIMER
The rom has been compiled from sources available from BAKED, TF300T CM10.1
This is a port I have done of the BAKED TF300T BB9 ROM. I in no way developed this ROM.
All credit for the ROM is the BAKED team alone. See credits sections as well.
DONT BLAME me if anything goes wrong with the device after flashing this ROM...

I wish I had fast & stable ROM with Mobile Dock Support
Thanks!
Looking forward to some Baked goodness:victory:
Thanks for the work, and giving us more ROM options!
EDIT: Man just installed, have barely let it settle and it's beautifully baked smoothy goodness. So far everything on the dock seems to be functional, with the minute exception that when the lid is open and you put tablet to sleep no keys will wake it up; however, device will wake when going from closed to open, which is very nice...oh end long pressing home button doesn't bring up recent apps..psshh whatever this ROM is sick So glad I haven't upgraded BL.
Oh, and no dock battery icon
I'm assuming that I'm good to flash Perf Kernel with this? Honestly though am seeing no reason too with how smooth it is running already.
Thanks again for porting this to our device, I am truly grateful for the selflessness of the devs/contributors here on XDA! Keep up the great work!

Glad you r njoying it
Perf Kernel should work. However i have not tried it. Was it working with BB8 ? If it was then , it will on BB9 as well.

Everything still smooth and good. Going from closed to open to wake only seems to work if opened immediately after closing. Have tried in all UI's (Tablet, Phablet, & Phone).
Ok, well it will wake on open after it's been closed for longer than 5+ seconds, but there is a considerable delay to wake - about 8-10 seconds. No biggie but thought I'd share.
Also noticed that sometimes I get a ▼ arrow in the dock instead of the "back" button. This would also happen when using cm10.1.
Thanks again...will probably play with this at work all day tomorrow and get nothing else done:laugh:
OTA Updates?
Should I ignore the OTA upadate? It says that it will update to version 8, when obviously this is version 9.
Is this because it's "unofficial" and the ota is just built in and thinks I need to upgrade.
Device info on the OTA screen clearly shows ROM Version as 9...not sure why it shows update if it's for version 8.

Noticed there is a significant gap on the left and right of home screen. Unable to stretch widgets all the way out.
Am using tablet UI. Tried changing # of rows and columns, as well as selecting the stretch option, but there's still a gap.
Any suggestions?

Updater script fails, just delete the
Code:
assert(getprop("ro.bootloader") == "HHZ11k");
from the updater_script
If you're too lazy to do so, I uploaded today's build with the fixed updater_script so it should flash.

EOS for hammerhead....now we're talking... I remember how nice EOS builds were on my old galaxy nexus, maybe even my Epic4G too... Heck yeah..thanks OP, BRD and rest of TeamEOS!
Thanks for the great rom. I know EOS from my Nexus 7 and looked around here in N5 Forum but dont find it. Now the waiting has an and. Are there any optimized bionic/dalvik files included or not?
I've been waiting for you guys! I was a big fan of your work on the Gnex. Your all's ROM was my daily driver from very early on. Thank you for bringing your work to the N5! *flashing*
Updated OP, now shinier thanks to brd!
Downloading
Test soon :silly:

Is the kernel coming with the ROM untouched stock?
However, you guys are so popular that I have no other choice than flashing your ROM
Never heard of this ROM before, I'm sure willing to give it a try, but whats special about it?
Downloading. Love giving new Roms a whirl ☺

Really nice rom. Extremely quick and snappy. Will report on battery tomorrow. Has everything I need, quick settings, center clock etc.
Just curious if theme manager will be updated to new one?
Thanks ☺
running smooth. but please add remove all button for recent apps
The NX Gesture Navigation Bar is great. Would it be possible to add "last app" as a gesture command?
Already found small bug: Can't turn crt animation off. If set to "don't show", it is still there.
EDIT: Another: When weather is set to C° system ui will constantly fc. Only a hard reboot helps. After doing that, weather is acutally working. I'm just afraid of touching the settings again
But well, I don't want to be fussy. You've guys have done a great work. This will be my daily driver for the next time
