Hi. I had 80% battery when I went to bed. But now, when i woke up there's only 50% left? I have posted some pics and it seems like the Wi-Fi is eating everything! Is this normal? I'm using apex and frencos kernel. Tried with the apex kernel and same battery lost.
thanks in advance

Also those random lines of GPS usage is weird if you were sleeping. I would suggest turning the GPS radio off when you aren't using it.
Is it LTE or GSM

I know it isn't a complete ROM yet, but my battery life drops about 1% every 30 seconds with the screen on, and 1% every 2 minutes with the screen off. A lot of people are saying that their battery improved, however mine is a lot worse. Does anyone have any battery saving tips for AOKP? If so, thanks.

Sorry for the nooby question...but is a modem the same thing as a radio? Lol i tend to stay away from flashing radios and stuff like that because there's alot of people complaining about bricking their devices. Thanks for the help

Ok yea i dont know...i thought i remembered that happening somewhere but i guess not...anyway ill try that in a bit thanks!
To me you would think you just wouldn't have any service if you just flashed a radio that is different but it's just like flashing a rom like galaxy note rom on our device. It wouldn't play nice it isn't compatible so there for its a hard brick then you got yourself a nice looking paperweight lol

Exactly, Those stats dont post the actual usage in any meaningful form. If it really wanted to give real info it would tell you how much cpu time those processes used.
So I'm using the jugernaught 5.0 from with the streamline kernal. Basically I'm using streamline because I wanted to save battery but i noticed something weird on 4g I'm only getting about 18 hours max with a galaxy nexus battery with wifi on I get around 30 hours. I thought wifi drained more battery. Also this is with about 3 hours of screen time. I've done several test. So firstly does wifi use less battery secondly what a the best kernal for gb right now?

4G is only used when it's needed. Wifi auto scans at intervals wasting battery if you leave it on all day. Wifi is better while in use.

It all depends on how you use your phone. If you have a bunch of apps synching, terrible reception, and the screen on the brightest setting all the time you most likely won't get good battery life. I'm more than happy coming from the Nexus 4 though. That phone had horrendous battery life.

You can set it to turn on internet and sync at intervals too.

Even 10 minutes of on screen time for 3% is pretty good - that's on track for 5.5 hours of on-screen time.
