Any one got a mms fix for cyanogen mod 9?
Sent from my SPH-D700 using XDA App
Ive never had a problem with it but i seen something on the CM9 site that says if you are having problems you might have a bad back up that needs to be purged

MMS doesn't work on cm9 its really a hit or miss depending on your carrier.

well it seems that mms will be a bigger challenge then data
you need to edit the build.prop to change numeric value to 310120 then use apn backup and restore to restore the proper apn settings. if you dont edit the build.prop the apn settings will never work.

I've been trying to send pictures to my phone from another G galaxy S 2.however the picture don't download anymore

In the screenshot it seems like you don't have a data connection. I think you need a 3G or 4G data connection to download mms files.
nah it used to send MMS over wifi calling. (the blue icon). It still wouldn't download when the picture

Check your user agent in the messaging app. This happened to me too until i set it to custom & put android-mms/2.0.

Turn off your wifi and try again.
MMS does not use wifi, it uses your cell data.
If your using the juggernaut 4.0 i had the same issue. You must turn off wifi even tho you can do it on the stock rom for some reason you cant on his.

I didnt realy like the blue of the ics look so I began a theme that was just black and white.
This is for Racing19969 skyroket port only I have not tested It on anything else. Not that there is much else to test it on.
This is what I would call a rough draft of a theme I am still getting the hang of themeing ICS so not everytning is the way i would like it yet but it is a work in progress. I just thought i would give everyone some different choices.
Still working on getting all the blue and green out, the charging battery is still blue will get it in the next update and so are alot of the headers Cant find that file yet. Please leave a few ideas on what else to change I may or may not be able to do it but will try.
Instructions :
1. NANDROID BACKUP Always
2. Download Theme.zip via link below.
3. Place .zip on /sdcard
4. Flash via CWM
5. Enjoy!!
You may lose signal after flashing (has happened to me a few times) Just reboot and all will be good.
Download----- For Racing 19969 port only!!! http://db.tt/7HvV9y8S

I am still on stock TW but made a quick dialer for CM10 JellyBean (Sprint) and I need someone to test it and tell me how it looks.
Make a backup first just in case then use ES File explorer or similar to copy and paste into system/app
This contacts.apk is from cm-10-20120722-UNOFFICIAL-d2spr.zip release, just in case you need to know, but I believe it should work on all cm10 releases.
Changes you should notice are dialer buttons, contact list picture and in-call contact picture. The Dialer should look similar to stock TW, more or less.
Post screenshots.
downloaded, placed in system apps with root explorer, rebooted. No issues

Has anyone tried adjusting the density on cm10? I wanna make a nandroid and give it a swing but was curious if anyone else tried and succeeded/failed
Sent from my SPH-D710 using xda premium
I changed it to 160dpi and everything worked fine.
Sent from my SPH-D710 using Tapatalk 2
Can you tell me how you changed the dpi. Thanks
Sent from my SPH-D710 using xda premium
I used es file explorer and changed the density in /system/build.prop. I don't think you can use ROM toolbox

And thanks for the help

Make sure your on the latest build and modem and prl. Also try one of chris41g's kernels.
Sent from my SPH-D710 using xda premium
I am on the latest cm nightly l. The latest modem fh13 and the latest prl. I am using the kernel that came with the nightly dated the 22nd.
Sent from my SPH-D710 using xda premium
Beats me then. My next guess would be to look in the thread for that nightly and see if anyone else is experiencing the issue

I've had it happen with a few select websites, but it became a lot more apparent when I had an app fail as well.
I've cleared/wiped everything that I could think of, turned off preloading, etc

A lot of the ROM's advertise "no ads" in their descriptions.
I looked at the hosts file on my phone that came with FreeGS, and indeed, games.espn.go.com is blocked.
Take a look at yours... Its in the system/etc folder. If its blocked in yours, use a simple text editor to remove that line from the hosts file and then reboot.
You will need to be rooted in order to make changes to the hosts file, I believe, but if you re on a ROM, you are already rooted.
