Hello,
Any possibility of anyone making a Star Wars Boot Animation for the Galaxy Nexus. All I have tried have either been pixelized or unable to run on Ice Cream Sandwich.
Hopefully there will be one that can fill up the entire AMOLED screen of the Galaxy Nexus for a stunning boot up animation.
Thank you.

Yes, I did put a request in there. The developer was kind enough to make a light speed one, but I was wondering if there would be any others. Also, it seems like there might be others that have created/modded one as well.
Anyone have a different version?
Wooooooooooooo!!!!!

Hi folks,
I just got my galaxy nexus 3 days ago and today I flashed wit one rom which is AOKP.
This rom is really impressive in terms of the performance in browsing and overall.
But I miss the ICS stock boot animation. Could anybody help me to find the boot animation?
And I'm not a developer so I have very little knowledge about how to apply it.
Please let me know how to.
Hope somebody can kindly help me out

Here's the optimized version for deeper blacks and more vibrant colors. Be sure to get the January 8th one. Flashable through CMW (just like you did with AOKP rom). Or you could just unzip the package, and push the bootanimation.zip to /system/media using terminal or root explorer.

Thank you so much I'll try it out now!

I tried this version but it's not smooth towards the end
hi there
I tried this version. It's full screen on my galaxy nexus but it's not smooth towards the end of the animation where the device is getting close to being booted.
I've flashed my galaxy nexus a few hours after the launch of Jelly Bean and whilst Jelly BEan is really good, I hate its bootanimation.
Still prefer the stock ICS one.
Can someone please post the stock standard ICS bootanimation.zip file here please?
can somebody please make a nexus 7 boot animation live wallpaper?the boot animation on the nexus 7 is amazing and would make a great live wallpaper if I knew how to do it myself I would but since I don't I will ask 1 of you geniuses to help a guy out

Really? Most people agree that the nexus7 boot animation of a "tiny red, green & blue flame on a X" is a little boring compared to the awesome ICS and Honeycomb boot animations.
Some people would rather have the clean and simple look. And the AOSP JB bootanimation is exactly that.
To the OP...this is exactly what you want brotha!

Here is the N7 bootanim in 16:9 instead of the original 16:10, with some contrast/color corrections, and a higher fps
Put in /data/local and rename to bootanimation.zip
Enjoy!
DISCLAIMER: I'm not responsible of any damage done to your several hundred dollars device, so use with caution
EDIT: Added a black and white version
And blue version my favorite.
Added preview for those who don't know what it looks like (yet)
EDIT 2: Now full rainbow set
Is this the one with the Nexus X?
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using xda premium
No, the X version is the Jelly Bean bootanim, this one is specific to the Nexus 7 tablet

Absolutely cool
Really nice job, these boot animations are sick!
Only issue I'm having is I can't decide between the original or the new blue one haha!
Thanks for your work!

The blue one its outstanding absolutely brilliant. I've got one question tough, after 5-8 seconds the screen decrease the brightness level and the boot animation doesn't look cool. I know it's not related to your work but do you know how to fix it?
Anyways I'm absolutely loving this thing. Thank you very much.

I think that's normal and with happens with all bootanimations.
Would it be possible to make a live wallpaper from the blue one? That would be amazing

Hmm I'll think about it.
As for the dimming effect that usually comes with a vibration, it usually means the boot is almost over; As far as I recall it's always been the case, but maybe the dimming can be cancelled, I'll see what I can find.
Nice job. Definitely will try it.

this is my favourite bootanimation :good: thanks
thanks so much, cant wait to use this.
I like. Well worthy of the attention you are getting. Thanks!
It was OK. But didn't work since I got new aokp jb 08 aug installed. I copied to /data/local n renamed. Still have aokp animation.
Anyone has this issue?

I did a search for this so forgive me if this has been posted already, but is there a way to eliminate the lock icon at the Google startup screen for a Sprint GNex with an unlocked bootloader? It's obviously not a big deal, but I remember someone figuring out how to remove the yellow triangle on my Galaxy S2 so I was wondering if someone had figured this one out, too. If it matters, I am running the latest nightly of CM9.
This is what you want.

Thanks! I didn't even know this existed...I'll give it a try!
I just wish someone offered a free app for this. I don't wanna buy an app just to change my boot logo one time, especially since I'm only going to remove the unlocked image.

I'm assuming it wasn't easy to create what he did, so I have no problem supporting the dev.
And the added security features are nice.

*Facepalm* All that rom is is CM themed like TouchPiss. You could pull all of the sounds, wall papers and launcher from that rom and put them on your phone. Then you could install one of the the many TouchPiss themes out there. That would essentially give you what that rom is on the Gnex.
S4 CM 10.1 theme: https://play.google.com/store/apps/...hc3NhZmNhLnRoZW1lLnRvdWNod2l6LmZpdmUuZnJlZSJd
I agree with mentose457
it all sounds good on paper well phone lol..... but it would be all surface look and that would be all you need anyway.... seems more like just specific theme look is all.
but good luck on your tweaking.
cheers

Ah, the cyanogenmod team might do this using a cyanogenmod rom but I dont think everything will be pure Samsung Galaxy S4 as framework might be different although its "Galaxy" Nexus. I could be wrong correct me if im wrong.
Based on CM10.1, you can expect some serious mimicking of Galaxy S4. Of course, this is all cosmetically S4 but it can certainly refresh your Nexus 4 experience.

Comments say that it does not have S4 calendar widget, so it probably doesn't have many changes aside from looks.
It's just CM10.1 with a theme, and sounds. You should be able to download the sounds yourself if you look around, and use a theme from the Play Store.
Why look around? The sounds, wallpaper, and launcher are in that download already. Download that ROM and pull them from it. The theme it uses is probably a regular t-mobile theme engine theme that you could pull from that ROM.
