Ah ok, never seen that before. Sorry I can't help. Did you try clearing twitter app data? Reinstalling?

already have unfortunately and so have others, not real sure why its not working
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using XDA App

Ah ok, strange that no one has heard of it....hope you get some help with it.

Same issue here 4.0.2 stock GSM.

Yep, same here as well. Not too much of an issue but would be nice if it worked!

I broke down and got haxsync last nigh so I've been getting contacts sorted that way today but there are some friends of mine who only use twitter, so that's my only real beef. Hopefully it gets fixed soon
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using XDA App

Have you got "sync contacts" turned on in the app?
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using xda premium

Yes, which leads to the above error

I have the same problem on stock 4.0.1. I've had this problem for at least a week now...

unfortunately, it's a well known issue (see links below)
all you can do is open a new ticket on twitter.

Hope it helps.
--tyler--

that helps yea but do we know if the issue is with twitter or something Google needs to update? I'm assuming twitter right?
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using XDA App

quite certainly it's twitter fault.
also because they use email as primary ID in contacts definitions instead of numbers and names.
--tyler--

Switch back to twitter 3.0.0 and the contacts will sync again. I can show you a screenshot if you want.

I switched back to an older version of twitter as well and contacts will sync again. I found an older version on my goshared app.

Same problem here with VirtuousQuattro ROM for Desire S and installing old version didn't work either. Just wanted you to know it.

Weird gallery problem

I'm running Axi0m Patient zer0 v18, not sure if thats the culprit, but I'm having strange problems with my gallery. Whenever I try to send a picture or open one up or set as wallpaper, it shows a different picture. Attached is a screenshot. I tried clearing cache from recovery as well as deleting some photos but its in multiple folders.

Well it doesn't necessarily solve the problem you have with the Gallery app.. but QuickPic is far superior imo.
See, I love quickpic but I also like having my Google instant uploads in there (unfortunately not every folder though) so if there was a way to do that and hide some Google uploads folders, I'd be the happiest man alive

I appreciate the repeated answer lol, but then is there a way to sync instant upload with quickpic?

clear data in the gallery. It wont delete your pics. I was having the same problem and this fixed it.

How do I do that?
On a side note anyone know how to hide certain folders from Google + in the gallery?

I know if you long hold a folder in QP you can "exclude" it, but I don't use the G+ upload feature so not sure if this will stop the auto uploads to G+.. I do use photobucket for auto uploads though, maybe that is an acceptable alternative for you? I like it better than having photos auto uploaded to a social network.

(Q) Duplicate Callendar Entries

In some cases I have 20 to 30 duplicate calendar entries...is there any way to merge them like I can with my contact (vi a a 3rd party app)?
Why do I have so many fuplicates? Im assuming its from backup andbrestoring the same data over and over and over and over.

Have you tried to clear the data in your Calendar Storage in Settings|Applications|All|Calendar Storage. Then just re sync from the account that holds the Calendar Data.
Just out of curiosity, how many calendars are listed when you tap the Calendars button at the top of the screen?

So do you recommend against attempting this. I've put off adding anything relevant on my new calendar until this gets fixed. So if it were to do a total wip I wouldn't regret it.

Inverted Apps and Themes for 4.2.x

I thought some of you guys might be interested in some inverted apps for your Glide. I think they look great and many claim that inverted apps conserve some battery life. I am running thegreatergood's Vanilla Rootbox and had no issues installing inverted MMS, Calculator, Google +, Facebook, Gtalk, Dropbox, and Gmail.
Check it out in this thread.

Does this still have problems with the dark contacts app? When I used it it would theme everything but the contacts app. Even though I checked it to be themed in the aroma version. Any help with that would be great.

Generally yeah but there's way too many impatient people around
Also, it helps me because I don't have any apps on the Play Store set to auto-update. I'll normally check once a week and update the ones which I feel need updating. I only actually do that because there's been many a time where I've installed an update and it's been much more unstable than the prior version. It then means I have to look around the net for an apk of the previous version

I don't think there is. It's only available in the conversation list, unfortunately.
I think they should add an option to get rid of Sender images if the sender isn't in your contacts. That way, your contacts images will stay while the rest would then be gone
