The profile pic is shown right beside people's posts. Unless there is another picture that I am not aware of...

There are two different pictures associated with your account. Your profile picture, (what other members see when viewing your profile) and your avitar, (the picture next to your username that everybody sees when you post comments on threads).
Hope this clarified the confusion.

Cant pust urls with xda app

When I post an url or a pic it doesnt show up, instead a smiley shows up :s wtf??
-Rr!cAn 3v0
Yeah I have a similar issue with xda premium. Ever since the upgrade I have not been able to post a picture or url using the xda premium app. Can do it through the free xda app or with tapatalk. So come on xda when we pay for a app we would expect it to work better than the free one!

APP to Hide *Encrypt* Photos / Videos

I have some interesting pictures I get from the random ex and I would like to keep them on my phone and hide them. At one point I was using software that hid the photos by changing the file name and placing this in a folder *ridiculous security* I need something that works better than this (security wise)
App on the market, vaulty free. I use it myself. Unless of course that was the app you were referring to, but it is password protected.
Sent from my SPH-D710 using xda premium
Vaulty only changes the file name (if my phone is lost and a minor knowledge in computers) they can easily see my private photos
Lol, you could just encrypt your phone. Or... Set up a screen lock and move all pics to internal storage.

Couldn't agree more, we must see to recommend the proper application.
Pictures or it didnt happen. ;-)
My Philosophy is the same "if it's not on pictures or video it never happened"
I can help. Send me said images and I will keep then for you on my phone. :B
Sent from my SPH-D710 using xda premium
You could put it into a folder and name it with a period before it and you wouldn't see it unless you had root explorer or hooked it up to a computer ".name"
Photovault works wells for me.
Gallery lock pro.. Trust me..
Hidden app icon, summoned by code in dialer ;}

When installed it looks like it's a flashlight app (functional flashlight too!)....but it isn't
I won't say anymore tho....LOL...it works well...

Facebook app swipe to delete

I apologize if this is 'known' but I haven't read any posts about it nor is it in the lists of features for the app.
To delete any post or comment you've made anywhere or any post that's been made on your wall etc, simply swipe across said post and click the red delete.
Finally
that was on the last version I did it by accident and took all day to figure out how I did I it

I always knew about it, but a lot of people ask me how to delete posts in the app ._.
Does this work on any phone with Facebook app

Yea this was available on the previous version. But while your at it there's a new option to set profile pictures from the app now. However it crashes when I try. Anyone want to give it a try and see if it works for them?
Sent from my SPH-D710 using XDA App

There is no app. It's because there are not enough apps to fill the screen.

i think it's just an empty slot for next promote app
I know what that is!!!
Its THE USUAL RESERVE THING

I'm too seeing the same thing. It's an image of the android guy holding shopping baskets in his hand. Obviously it means to say,"hey there, this is a place from where you can shop various android applications."
Code:
System.out.println("Sent from my SGY");
just android guy there no app etc etc for now
i think its just variation (they not like an full filled like play store home bottom page now )

What's the worst Is the buggiest app I have to deal with is the XDA developers app , somethings wrong with this picture
Sent from my HTC One S using xda premium
Don't know about the xda app, but I assume it's the same as the tapatalk app. The tapatalk host will only allow you to upload 30 pictures then you have to pay a premium for unlimited hosting.
