What do i do i tried to flash my lg p930 from bell to domination hd following the instruction and i ended up on boot loop then for no reason it started up i was all happy but thinking it was atnt...
i figure just need a reboot it will see it has a bell sim card in it
but now im back on boot loop and not even a way to open on cwm
What do i do?
this sound a lot like a bricked phone and i know i shouldn't have done what I have done since im new at this but I like playing with this sort of stuff
can anyone help someone new to this ^
happenned again
Do you remember ANY of the random stuff you did? I'm having the same problem and I've tried what seems to be every option but keep getting the loop
Wow I read that first anwser today and what happened low batt my phone shut down and on reboot yeah bootloop again great
and cant boot into cwm dont know why... yeah
I'm using LU6200 and I met this problem sometimes. Each time I met it, I try to Restore the phone to Factory Setting (Turn off the phone by unplug the battery, turn it on then hold vol- and power)
Don't use the AT&T ROM's on a Bell Optimus LTE. They are not made for our phones, and will cause bootloop issues if used.

Hi guys,
I'm hoping someone can offer some advice.
I'm running a non-rooted, GSM, stock 4.0.1 Galaxy nexus. My phone restarted on its own and is now stuck in an infinite boot loop. I did several battery pulls to turn the phone off. Turning it on again, it gets stuck in the boot loop never reaching the homescreen.
Any ideas?
thanks in advance
Well you could grab an Odin flash file and reset your phone from download mode. When powering on the fone hold volume down and power.
Also could hold both volume buttons and power when turning on to go into fast boot mode where you could try flashing a stock image through fastboot from your pc
Android - making grown men pee sitting down since 2.0
How do I even get the files on the phone?

Get into a bootloader and factory reset your phone.
It was happening to my gn everytime I put it in my pocket. Why I don't know. I put my gn in perfectly working condition in my pocket and when I pulled it out wanting to, say, take a picture, it was looping.
Been to the store, called tech supp... nobody knows why.
That all stopped after I unlocked, rooted and flashed a custom rom. Not one crash ever since (10 days)
Thanks man. I just brought it back to the store and they replaced it.
anybody knows how to back up my pictures/movies. I got also the boot loop issue and I first want to secure my files before resetting... My GN is not rooted or modded whatsoever.

I', afraid it's not possible without root and CWM.
Hey everyone I have a problem that I sort of fixed but not really? About 2 days ago my phone kept restarting and vibrating. I researched the problem and it said that it might be a stuck button problem. After a few hours I came to the conclusion that a stuck power button was the problem. I went to a cell phone repair shop and had it repaired. IT worked fine on the way home but then I got home and set it on the counter only to come back to it restarting and vibrating all over again. How is that possible after replacing the power button I though. So I did my best and I was able to flash the stock 4.1.2 rom back onto my phone and unroot it and everything. Now my phone has been working fine ever since. Could it be that I cant flash roms anymore? Does anyone know what the real problem to my phone is? If so please respond here. Thank you very much for you're time.

If your phone is functioning normally.....there's no reason why you can't flash any rom made for our phone.
Sent from my cell phone telephone....
The problem is that everytime I flash a custom rom my home button goes crazy and makes the rom un-usable. I have flashed both JMT and Slimrom on my phone and bot ended in the same result.

It sounds more like boot loops which can happen often if you look thru the forums. Your buttons either work or they don't. What rom you are on plays no part in hardware issues like that.
Just be sure when trying a rom, you follow the instructions to the letter. Otherwise boot loops can easily happen.

It couldnt have been a bootloop because it was working just fine for a while after flashing and then later on I set it on the table to come back to it flashing where it kept unlocking and locking and unlocking. I was unable to do anything with the phone at the time and after a while it kept restarting and vibrating. You dont think its hardware issues?
Hi there,
I recently bought a used Lg f240l (so no warranty at all). Every thing was working fine and dandy but today when i restarted the phone it went into boot loop for like 15-20 minutes. I did a battery pull and rebooted but still it remained in boot loop. So i googled and found how to factory reset the phone , i reset the phone. It tool 15-20 minutes again to format but the mobile network signals were gone. I shutdown the phone to check the sim card . I restarted the phone but it went to bootloop again. Please help me out here.
I am aware of custom recoveries, root, etc but please dont hesitate to answer this question like I was a noob.
Also is there a possibility that the factory reset may cause a sim lock?
Thanks alot.
FIXED IT...
THE SOLUTION: In case any one googles ...
So i recently replaced the default fonts with htc m8 but fortunately i backed up the fonts folder.
I hard reset the phone by pressing and holding volume down+home button+power button
And when the phone booted i simply replaced the fonts folder.
I dont know why this happened but this solved my problem.
i followed this guide
teamandroid.com/2016/03/08/update-tmobile-galaxy-note-2-t889-android-601-resurrection-remix-marshmallow-custom-rom/2/
and it worked perfectly until yesterday
the other day i looked at my phone and it formatted and restarted on its own. i didnt really lose much.
so i accepted it and reset up all my apps and such, and then when my phone died and i charged it
it got stuck in boot loop forever
i tried wiping both cache and reboot recovery it skips boot loop long enough to load up but as soon as i see my homescreen for a second it boot loops again.
so then i tried completely formatting the phone over which worked until this morning when i woke up my phone was dead. swapped batteries and turned it on. booom boot loop again.
is there any advice on what i should do?
im able to format it and get it working again if something needs installed etc
but i want to stop this from happening again
Q: is it possible that a certain app i downloaded is forcing the boot loop? i dont see why it would because ive had all the same apps for months and it just happened out of no where.
i appreciate any help, id just like to know why in the world its happening, and what the best course of action would be
im thinking maybe restore it back to factory firmware and unrooting and starting the process all over again
i seen something for 7.1 would that be better?
Hey hey people. Been around this site for years since i had my htc mogul i believe. I searched for some help with the issue im having and came up empty. I have an lg g8 thinq and it took an update late sunday when i was asleep so i dont know when. It immediately was acting funky and by the end of day - up until this moment it has been boootlooping i even fac reset and it isnstill bootlooping-brought to att and their hands are tied talk to lg or assurion (boy they really are jelpful there.....) anyone out there experiencing this because its my primary phone qnd as i sit typing this im on my old s8 qctive that is beat to **** but pulled the sim from my g8 and stuck it in here. Anyway it will get past the lg logo and start bootlooping at the att circle/emblem-every time until the battery dies. Hopefully i didnt break amy rules again i havent been on in awhile but this really is beyond frustrating my whole life in that phone and idk last time i backed it up but its been awhile. THANK YOUA to ANYONE that can help point me in righht direction. Also i forgot to mention non rooted completely stock.
So you've already held power and volume down at the same time with the phone on?
I am too having the same problem. Mine is a T-Mobile LG G8, stock non rooted, got updated last week and then acted funny(some apps crashed), I restarted it won't reststart; Stucked on some LG-G8 screen. I hard reset it (Vol Down-Power/LG Screen, release and then hold power button; and then hard reset), After that: it stuck on boot loop.
What I can try next?

When my update came through on T-Mobile it got stuck at the Tmo splash screen. Pressed the power and volume down until it turned black and let go. It rebooted normally after.

Hi guys, am just a newbie here from Malaysia and a new owner of a 2nd hand LG G8 ThinQ (LM-G820UM); no idea where it's from but got it already with Android 10 update.
'twas working perfectly fine for a few days, but suddenyl got stuck in bootloop after I reboot (Power + Volume Down buttons) the phone when I was trying to change to a different SIM card. It would remain in bootloop until the battery is drained.
I can connect it to my laptop and seems to be detected pretty good and able to switch to Download Mode, but can't re-flash with either Flash Tool or LGUP.
- Have tried to use different Flash Tool versions - in version 2014, the flashing will just stop at server error, in 2016 and 2025 versions it will require LGST login (apparently to connect to some server which require registration).
- same goes true for LGUP, both versions 1.14 and 1.16 (patched version) will just stop at 4% then the apps will close without any error or anything happening in the phone.
Appreciate any help to recover this phone which I paid for a few hundred dollars as I was impressed with the spec and was so delighted to a very good spec phone; then this happened.
Thanks!

I'm in the same boat but with ATT. LM-G820UM I believe. Completely stock software. I just had it sitting on the charging dock for a while and I came back to it and it was stuck in a bootloop. No idea what's caused it, but I can't seem to get it to stop for anything. This is one of the many reasons I find not having a removable battery deeply upsetting :/
okay will try that as soon as i can get this thing to boot normal again it now stuck on the lg g8s screen think i flashed the wrong abl_a and abl_b files
Has there been any progress in getting this fixed?
Other than flashing the entire stock kdz not sure what else can be done...
