As you know, Samsung announced his mobile app store. It is available at samsungapps.com and at Samsung's phones like i900 Omnia. I tried to download mobile client and install it on Touch HD but it didn't work. It didn't start. I wonder, could someone do port to THD? This will be just amazing. Microsoft Marketplace will start just 6th October. Too late for me... So I'm waiting for your work, to see Samsung App Store in my HD, please.
Hi all,the ITV player is now updated with live streaming feeds but still restricted to Wi-Fi only. From the news update at engadget mobile, they mentioned that the service is following the footsteps of BBC and Channel 4. Does anyone know where to get the channel 4 app or what it's being called or how to download it? Couldn't find it in the Android market. Cheers
Sorry about the mix up,I thought the app included live streaming. It doesn't. Its still the same app release a few weeks ago. Disregard the post please.
doh
fancy changing the title? It got my hopes up

I am having a hard time finding APKs for Tenplay and Zattoo for my Sony Android TV. The Tenplay apk I found readily available, claims that the device isn't supported and the Zattoo apk I found, is displaying sideways (guessing it is the mobile apk).
I am guessing that you can only get the Android TV APKs if you are located in Germany/Switzerland and Australia.
Could anybody from these two countries point me towards working APKs? Thank you!
Google has shown off a redesigned Play Store for Android TV at I/O 2019 that makes it much easier to download apps and sign up for new subscription services. Variety reports that the new interface will let publishers combine the installation of a new app with the signup and login processes, and 9to5Google adds that the new interface will support using PINs to log in, so you don’t have to type your full password as often using your TV remote.
As well as showing off the new features and interface, the demonstration also received a cameo from an Amazon Prime Video app, which will finally see a widespread release on Android TV after Google and Amazon recently settled their long-running feud.
The new Play Store will be released separately from the next full version of Android TV. Speaking to Variety, Android TV head Shalini Govil-Pai said that the smartphone and TV versions of the operating system “don’t necessarily need to be on the same timeline.” That’s probably a good thing, though, given the slow speed at which Android TV updates get released. Android Pie for Android TV was announced a full year ago, but only started shipping out to developers at the beginning of this year, and the majority of Android TVs are still running Android Oreo.
Google’s redesigned interface for the Android TV Play Store will launch later this year.
Hi All,
Can someone advise is there a life beyond Youview if I disable it? EG in the UK right now, ITV Hub has been replaced by ITVx and my Youview app isn't kept up to date.
I learned how to disable Youview, but I was rather hoping it could be easily replaced with Freeview Play. But when I go on its GooglePlay store the there is no sign of Freview , ITV or even BBC!!
So what options are out there to allow me to get all the UK prime free channel hubs ( BBC / ITV / 4OD , CH5 ) and have the possibility of freeze & play something from yesterdays TC sched etc. Can nothing be done on the device and I need to buy an external box?
Can Freeview Play etc be sideloaded?
Or is there even a whole new world of restriction free Android TV by rooting and custom roms etc?
Advice welcome
Thx
