Hey all...and to answer the number one question, yes I did do A TON of searches already to find a solution...PLEASE HELP if you have the knowledge
Phone Model: Galaxy S III (SPH-L710) Sprint 16gb
Firmware/ROM: All stock and never tried ANY customization
Problem: I think the problem happened when the phone auto updated to 4.3. Now when the phone tries to boot it just boots to the second Samsung "Samsung Galaxy S III" screen, reboots and then will get to the same screen and just sits there. One time I even let it sit there for 30 minutes just to see if it needed the ridiculous amount of time. When I try to get the phone into recovery mode (Volume UP/Home key/then the Power key) it will boot and on the first Samsung "Samsung" screen, in the top left corner in small print, it shows "booting recovery...". Then it will just go strait to the second Samsung screen then keeps rebooting twice before it will just stop on the second Samsung screen again. When I try to get the phone into ODIN mode (Volume DOWN/Home key/then the Power key) it will boot asking me if I'm sure and to press Volume UP to continue. Once I press Volume UP, to continue, I get to ODIN mode. In the top left corner it shows...
ODIN MODE
Product Name: SPH-710
Custom Binary Download: No
Current Binary: Samsung Official
System Status: Official
(all grayed out) Qualcomm Secureboot: ENABLE
Then in the middle of the screen is the little Android guy. Below that it shows, "Downloading..." "Do not turn off target!!". And it just sits there doing nothing else.
I'm pretty sure I have done everything I could possible do to get it working again. From what I understand there may be other things I can do. Worse case scenario, if I must, I would be willing to loose everything on the phone and start over from scratch, if that's even possible.
There has to be some VERY smart people on here that can help me. This is my wife's phone and we don't have an upgrade until May...PLEASE HELP. Thanks all!!!
ONE MORE THING...almost forgot: We've never had the need to ever change anything on the phone so UBS debug was never turned on. Please tell me this isn't going to be a problem.
Sounds to me like the zip your phone downloaded to update to 4.3 was bad and now your system and recovery images are broke.
There isn't a MK3 tar you can flash via ODIN right now, you're probably best served taking it to a Sprint store to have them flash it.
You'd only be taking a risk trying to ODIN 4.1.2 (MD4) to your phone at this point. If the 4.3 bootloader made it on, then trying that will totally brick your phone to the point that they have to replace it.
Safest bet is Sprint store because you can get into Download mode, they should be able to get it working for you. I hope, good luck!
EDIT: there is a tar file for ODIN now
@romeoh posted this in the [STOCK] 4.3 and up Discussion Thread (NOT CM or AOSP) thread
Finally a .tar file is available to download on sammobile website.

I recently brought a tmobile unlocked, Samsung galaxy s3, T999.
I tried to upgrade the firmware with samsung kies, but it stuck at 0.
Then I tried, Emergency Firmware Recovery, it also got stuck.
I rooted it and applied a custom rom, CyanogenWIZ(Found here top review rom)
Then i wasnt able to turn on wifi, SIM not detected, etc.
Then I wiped all data, reset the phone.
Now it does not go to the home screen, stuck at loading(with that google 4 colord dots).
I can ONLY access, Recovery Mode and Download mode properly.
THEN
Finally was able to re install the stock rom,
T999UVALEM_T999TMBALEM_T999UVALEM_HOME.tar
galaxys3root (COM) / T-Mobile Galaxy S3 Stock Firmware MD5
Now, It loads all those "Android 4G tMobile logo, Samsung galaxy SIII, that green animation"
But it does not go further than SAMSUNG logo with blue animation thing.
I installed the,

*****ODIN Firmware*****
First, Recovery, then Stock Kernel.
Now, IT says,
"Firmware upgrade encountered as issue. Please select recovery mode in Kies & try again."
When I press the turn ON button.
please help
Hello, I'm using SM-N7502 and I did a firmware to reinstall stock android 4.3 using odin3 v3.09 , I wrongly checked "Nand Erase All" along with Auto Reboot and F. Reset Time and then pressed Start, after few minutes Odin3 showed me that process was done successfully. the device rebooted , showed Note 3 Neo logo and then went stuck on Samsung logo, please is there any idea what happened and what shall I do ?
Hey there,
i have TWRP installed and used Lineage Custom Rom. Everything was stable and worked great for the last few weaks.
Today my phone was connected to the charger and when I came back it showed the LG Logo and the little text "Bootloader state: Booloader unlocked!".
If i restart the phone it again ends at that screen (excpet once it kept booting but crashed after about 30 seconds that i used it).
I am NOT able to get to recovery anymore. If I try to I select "Yes" on the first screen. Then I select "Yes on the second screen" but this freezes the phone again.
What can I do?
All the best and already thank you very much for your help!
The phone is a Samsung Galaxy S4 mini (GT-I9195). I believe it was originally on the EE network, but then used on the Three network. I'm not sure if it needed to be unlocked for this to happen, or if it was purchased unlocked.
Starting with the phone switched off in each scenario below:
If I switch the phone on, it vibrates once and the Samsung logo appears. It then goes into an indefinite loop of vibrating twice, and the Samsung logo appearing, vibrating twice, etc.
If I plug the phone in, the battery appears with the grey circle inside. Without me doing anything, it goes straight to the Samsung logo, and then to the aforementioned indefinite loop.
If I switch the phone on, holding the home button and volume up to enter recovery mode, it goes to a sick robot with 'No Command' underneath and some text that reads 'Manual mode, appling [SIC?] Multi-CSC..,. Applied the CSC-code: BTU, Successfully applied multi-CSC'
I'm not sure what the 'correct' firmware to flash is for the phone or how to find out. I have flashed some 'BTU' 'stock' firmware a couple of times using ODIN; the result is 'PASS' but the boot loop continues. I have also flashed TWRP recovery using ODIN; the result is also 'PASS', but the boot loop persists as before after launching recovery mode.
Similar posts have been raised before, but I've never seen it answered.
Why is this happening, and how do I fix the problem?
Thanks.
