Hi to all,
usually I change, for test, my rom but, everytime, I miss my K9 email accounts settings (I have about 6 accounts).
Is there any app to save accounts setting data to restore on other rom?
Thanks
Would love to find such an app !!!
Specially on non rooted phones.
Ciao
Fred
Do a Nandroid backup of your current ROM with K9 settings inside.
Install new ROM, get "AppExtractor" via Market and you're able to restore the K9 app with/without its data (in your case of course with it).
Worked fine for me with the data of lot of apps (especially savegames etc.)

Feel free to hit the thank-button
does this method work when moving from gb to ics? (especially in case of K9 email settings & data).

Hey guys.
I'm trying to figure out how to do 1 of 2 things.
1. Is there a way to Remove the GMail and Mail App alltogether *Without breaking anything*? If I recall, I didn't think there was a way without breaking sync support for calendar and contacts.
2. If the above cannot be done, is there a way to keep the GMail app from actually syncing your mail, and removing any mail that it was allready sync up? I've allready disabled syncing in account settings.
I installed K9 mail, and rather use that, so that ALL my e-mail is uniform. (I have like 6 e-mail address's. haha)
it should be in teh settings, remove automatically sync...that should do it. i dont know why urs keeps syncing

Anyone know how to make google the default phone book to save contacts too, instead of HTC people?
Your question is not clear.. You have the option to save your contacts on the phone itself.. or on google.. there is practically no advantage to saving your contacts on the phone.. but plenty of advantages by saving contacts to google.. since it stores and syncs it with your gmail account online.. .
Thats what i mean, when i go to save the contact, it doesnt prompt to save to google, just phone
There is a drop-down where you can select Google or Phone. Do you have and are you logged into your Google account via your phone?

Re flashed the rom, and took my time and paid attention, and it looks like it saved to Google this time, but my last install wouldn't allow me. IDK, but thanks alot for the help.
Hi there,
I am using the 10.5 Tab S wifi-only with unofficial Cyanogenmod. As backend I am using a Horde groupware server with Activesync support. Everything seems to work fine, but I have a problem with my activesync contacts. The stock contacts app doesn't display any contacs, although I selected to display all contacts (including local and exchange contacts). Someone could assume that the exchange contacts aren't synced. However, when I use the magnifier icon to search for contacts, the result list does in deed show my exchange contacts. Furthermore, as soon as I turn off wifi the search doesn't work any more. So it seems contacts are searched online only and no information is stored locally.
Any idea how to solve this?

Anyone?
I have a Google Pixel 3XL phone running Android V 10. I also have Titanium Backup professional, V 8.4.0.2.
My problem is this: I have Titanium Backup setup to run once per week on Sundays at 1:30 am. This works just fine. The same schedule also tells Titanium Backup to copy the files to Dropbox and this doesn't work. I get messages that read, "Dropbox sync skipped due to power/connectivity". However, I can manually sync with Dropbox without any issues.
What makes this so bizarre is that this morning, I had the phone plugged into a charger, so power is clearly not the issue! Below is an image of the settings screen and I believe that this is correct.

So, please suggest something for me to try to make the Dropbox sync happen automatically right after Titanium Backup is done do a backup. Thanks.
I have some banking apps which sends OTP everytime before log in and register the device ID with the account but i am crazy about custom roms and flashed any new available rom almost every second day or so, due to this, some apps refuse to start as they detect change in software or mobile and block the app for a specific time period. Is there any way to backup data or device signatures, so after every new rom i can restore that backup and run these apps.
Sorry for the long msg
I use Swift Backup from Play Store, requires Root. (May also work with ADB?)
It can backup apps+appdata, WiFi passwords, call logs, SMS, and your wallpaper. It's a nice & modern backup-solution and imo sorta like a successor to Titanium Backup.
Before restoring your apps with Swift Backup, enable this:
