You have an app installed that is using airpush to put ads in your notification bar. Use Airpush Detector to find out what it is. I found Beautiful Quotes was my culprit.

The one for scanning is found in framework-res/res/drawable-hdpi and its called stat_notify_sdcard_prepare.png.

Your right and wrong. The icon odd actually coming from ann app and u can't figure it out. The one on framework is the initial icon when media scanner starts.

I almost looked though all 85 pages of the "post your home screen" thread hoping someone asked the question there, but, came up with nothing so far.
What its the time and date widget he is using on his home screen?

Actually, it's not Calwidget. They are very similar, but I like this one better. It's Pure Calendar Widget, skinned with the "Transparent" skin.
Hi guys, I love the built in toggle strip\menu in ICS but is there a way to add in Airplane Mode and disable say Bluetooth which I never ever use?? Maybe there is an app I should use?? I really like the look of the stock power menu and would want that if at all possible.....
Thanx,
M
Not exactly what you're thinking of (I, personally, find it a much better solution to this kind of problem): MoreQuicklyPanel
Also, Llama.
Thanks. I just purchased it and it seems to be what I needed. Coming from the Galaxy S2, I seem to be paying for something that Touchwiz had already built in. Oh well. Live and learn.
You also can install AOKP ROM (or nearly any other custom rom) for example and must pay nothing for this Feature

How did you do the screenshot / GN overlay with reflection ? Is this with Gimp or Photoshop or is there an app that did this ? Pretty damn slick!

I have no idea but that is essentially what my first post was about. I would like the Bluetooth icon removed as I never ever use it and it would be so sweet to be able to add in Airplane Mode and Mobile Data, both of which I use all the time.
TulpiX are you a developer?
Thanks,
M
Just something I noticed accidentally. I am on Stock Rooted LG8 BTW.

That's likely the cause. On stock, only the clock itself will respond. Nowhere else.

And if anyone removes the clock.apk (or whatever the name of the stock clock app is) it obviously won't work either.

Just found this on xda news. Nexus users will benefit greatly. It takes your music in the cloud on Google play music and makes it available to 3rd party music players!

What he was trying to say was that everyone could see that the app exists because it's in the sidebar. Regardless, thanks for posting about it.

I close that ridiculously annoying sidebar. I don't want extra garbage cluttering up my screen. I'm perfectly capable of clicking the portal button in the navbar if I need to see the latest news. Had I not seen this article because I make it a point to keep up on the latest portal posts, I would have been glad this post was created.
Honestly, if this doesn't affect someone's life any, the thread being here, why do they care??? Next time I wish people wouldn't post if this is all they have to say
