Gba emulator - T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S II SGH-T989

Hey guys I was wondering does anyone know how to install a gba emulator on the SGS II? all help will be greatly appreciated

You could search for GameBoid, it's a very good gba emulator with save states and load states. Works perfect for me

First download this gameboid apk
http://db.tt/UrL15frS
Now download the gba bios
http://db.tt/Dt6XBAti
Now open up gameboid and it will ask you to set up the gba bios, just look for it wherever it is it downloaded to.
After you have selected it, just look for a rom to play

psx4droid help.

whats going on guys..since i got the g2 i was mostly excited about rooting and customs roms and of course emulators. but i seem to have a problem with psx. can someone direct on how to setup and download bios to start playing? it kind of overwhelms me and im not sure where to start! thanks!
Google the bios, it shouldnt be hard to find noone can post them here because its illegal. Copy them to you sd card fire up psx4droid and select the bios from there (you should see an option that says something like psx bios).
Backup your psx isos and play
There is an app in the market psx BIOS it comes with the BIOS and two games

Emulators (snes, psx, etc)

I came across this thread that hasn't been updated for over half a year but still applies.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1173601&highlight=emulator
It includes all those awesome Emulators that were removed from the market that can be found on SlideME now
a couple updates
I use DroidEmuROMGet to search and dl the roms
for CPS2 all those CAPCOM arcade games go here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1483303&highlight=cpsemu
for NeoGeo go here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1402986&highlight=cpsemu
for psx use fpse
if anyone else would like to recommend other apps, I'm all ears.
I seriously spent hours playing a bunch of games @[email protected]
Nice! Thanks for putting all of this in one place. Time to play some old school games!

No problem! I haven't looked into emulators since the mt4g days and I noticed a lot of emulators and apps to find ROMs went missing from the market. Searched and came across that goldmine. very informative and they all run smoothly, the fpse works pretty well too. only played ff9 and castlevania sotn on it so far.. buttons are kind of hard so gonna look into the sixaxis controller soon.
btw i recommend the capcom and neogeo emulator. AWESOME!
Where can I download roms for these emulators?
Edit: NM just read your whole post..
I cant figure how to make the emulator work. I've d/l some csp2 roms and can't figure how to play them. Can someone give me a quick tutorial?

you can always check the original thread.
what i do is simply download the ROM launch the emulator, search for the ROM and play.
you have to choose the actual full sized games, some are considered as "CLONES" and don't work properly. the games are usually bigger than 5mb, if one is about 1MB then i suggest finding another.. and i think the ones with the letter "u" at the end are also clones, not exactly sure.
so...
1. download rom
2. launch emulator
3. search for downloaded rom
4. insert coin and start!
From what I've read our stock rom will not allow us to use the sixaxis or wii controllers. There is a problem with the stock Samsung bluetooth stack. We can flash a CM or ASOP rom which will change the stack. However, that also removes MHL functionality as far as I know.
I'm currently using FPSE and playing some old Final Fantasy VII. Also have snesoid going.
Have you tried http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=22260943

I am apparently unable to post links, because I have never posted before. But google the following term for the guide that I used to play gameboy advance on my Galaxy S3:
"pocketgamer GBA games on Android"
Gameboid.

It is easy to play GBA games at Samsung Galaxy Y GT-S5360 you just have to do the following steps:
1.Go to play store and search My Boy! New Gameboy advance emulator.
2.Install it.
3.Go to any browsers and go to a website you can download GBA games.
4.Search a game that you want then download it.
5.Open the My Boy! New Gameboy advance emulator.
6.Then go to /mnt/sdcard/MxBrowser/Downloads/ then the game you want to play.
7.Final Step is enjoy the playing and just click thxs if I help
NOTES: I didn't use any bios to play in this emulator. If u don't have any browser just got to play store and download one.
Uh... last time I checked I thought it was illegal to download gba ROMs off the web?

I don't really see the point of this thread, you mention a random phone post about a gba emu then mention Warez. nothing is right here.

Hope this runs great on my MK808. It would save me from swapping emulators... and woulda saved me a good chunk of change.

I think you need a bios

No bios needed, RetroArch will emulate the bios, this has come along quite far and performs just as well. I've just been playing Cave Story.

The developer of Retroarch (SquarePusher) has said many times that if a game isn't working, then you should supply your own BIOS file in the ROM directory. The file in question is called 'SCHPH1001.bin'
You can find it with a bit of Googlin'
Pretty sure it has to either be all caps or all lower case. Try the other if it still doesn't work.

Either Retroarch doesn't like your N7 setup or the few games you are trying are one of the few games that don't work on Retroarch.
Great performance here! Playing Bloody Roar 2 and Tomb Raider, no problems so far.

Put in the same folder as your PSX ROMs.
I have this same problem. Bios is on the same folder. Is there a specific file type needed for the rom? I notice I don't have a cue file. Is that the issue?

I got it to work finally, I extracted the .MDF from the zip file, and loaded it thru retro and it worked. The games kept downloading as .zips like other system Roms but I guess the psx emulator doesn't read zips according to the manual? Anyway, worked for me, not sure if that's whats supposed to be done.
