I've searched a lot of places, but so far I can't fully understand Samsung codes, specially because even on samfirmware there are 2-letter and 3-letter region codes. I'm trying to find out if I can find a compatible ROM for my device, so I can update from 2.3.5 to 2.3.6.
My codes are:
PDA: I8150BVJKJ4
PHONE: I8150BVJKJ4
CSC: I8150BZTMKJ3
Build Info: Tue Oct 18 11:53:42 KST 2011
Any tip?

Yeah, but no perfect match. Even tried the SamFIT tool from samfirmware but it's not able to figure out the whole thing either, aside from phone model (duh!) and build date/revision (3 last digits).

You got your phone unlocked too, it seems. Did you get it with Claro's branding? I thought the only unlocked SGW was sold with TIM's branding.

It has TIM's branding, in fact. But it is unlocked, and I am using Claro's SIM.

The thing is that the letter codes for region after the model don't match any of the codes shown on samfirmware or sammobile. And which code should I try to match qhen looking for a ROM? Phone, PDA or CSC?

I just got this device Christmas.....my very first Samsung.....and it is complex......
with all the different FW options, catering for all Markets and Countries where Samsung sells through local partners, like your TIM and Claro, etc.
So, just like your other Brazilian friend, the Service Provider Branding does not really matter, you will be able to set up APN's etc, yourself....make sure you know what your particular APN's are for your Service Provider, as they may not be included in any other CSC.
***All this is just my reading, as a Samsung novice***

So, the Phone (Modem) Component of FW is very important, and not standard, AKAIK......???
So, European ROM's may not work, I am not sure if GSM-850 is enabled by default, even though language including Portuguese would suit you!!!!
Not sure about TIM, but it seems to support 900/1800, see here:

So, should Euro FW be OK?
I don't know, honestly, but can see no reason why not!!!
But be careful, there must be a reason why Samsung called this GT-I8150B in Brazil!!
So, looking at your FW, meanings are, I think:
PDA: I8150__BVJ__KJ4
PHONE: I8150__BVJ__KJ4
CSC: I8150__BZTM__KJ3
BZTM.....in CSC....seems to indicate TIM Specific Branding for Brazil.
KJ3/KJ4 you know is only year/date/version.....
BVJ has to indicate your Region for Phone(Wireless/Modem Chipset) and PDA(Software/Apps)
So, I hope some of the above is even true

Brazilian unlocked phones like the SGW I got are Quad band, so they can work with any local carrier, what I confirmed with it's specs on Brazilian Samsung website: GSM (850 + 900 + 1800 + 1900 MHz) and 3G UMTS (850 / 2100 MHz).
I was interested in trying a newer or optimized ROM, but I guess I'll take the time to learn more about this and wait for Arco's CM9 for SGW...unless, of course, I find something interesting along the way that works.
I'll take another look at the other XDA android forums and try to learn some more on custom ROMs. I can say I'm pretty lost now.

Guys I created these flashable modem to improve the reception of some rom. Here in Italy the problem is particularly acute. I myself live in a very difficult for the phone but with the modem 20g I have more signal.
I can create other versions for other nations, however, I need only modem.bin extracted from your favorite KDZ
the baseband does not change but I can not understand why a particular modem I phone signal while other modems with other countries (always 20g or 20h) the signal dies

I have a vs980 32gb (purchased in USA) with the cloudy g3 rom (excellent) and fw26A. Everything is ok but the signal strenght here in Italy (Vodafone) is horrible.
Do you know if with some tricks I can flash this on my phone? I've tried to flash a d802 fw but I had bootloop.

I have tim and I Say That I am fine with 20g, I stressed out as I could and Reacts well. I'll try again 20H, You Should back up the modem and try Both and then or leave one of the two or restores your original.

The problem is in the model, you have a vs980 and so my modem NOT be used, whether with your original fw had more receiving, I might try to create one for that model on the basis of your last and penultimate FW but I would not have a way of test

I used 20g for one week and is fine, tomorrow use the 20h in a very difficult place and I want to see how it behaves

I'm on 20H stock by 6ril1, so I can try only 20G modem to compare. However now with carrier Vodafone I see dancing bars on 3g band
2.0 version I simply renamed file (modem) interior without touching another, sostiuirò the link as soon as I did but waiting who has a mobile brand can write here if it is satisfied with the reception and if noted changes after removing the brand
end of uploading the files are avaible, download in the drop box no but I'm already uploading files there too

THIS IS A COMPILING GUIDE FOR CREATE YOUR PACK TO UPDATE YOUR Z1 (C6943 THE BRAZILIAN VERSION WITH DTV) FOR THE 14.4.A.157 OFICIAL FIRMWARE WITH ROOT, DEODEXED AND 4K.
1 - First of all you need to create your FTF file of the 14.4.A.157 for your specefically version (C6943).
ALREADY DONE FILE HERE (JUMP TO STEP 2) THANKS TO @RHBH.
A- Download and install the Flashtool. (don't forget to update to the latest version always)
B - After installed go to the tab DEVICES -> CHECK UPDATES -> select the xperia z1 -> select the tab C6943 and double tap the 1276-7099 CUSTOMIZED BR like on the image bellow, after this you gonna start to download the firmware.

C - When conclued on the next window that will apear just move all the files from the left side (folder list) to the right side (firmware content) then click on create and wait to your FTF file be created, after this you file will be on the firmware folder of the flashtool ready to be flashed.
2 - Now it's time to flash, just open the flashtool, click on the first icon 'lightning bolt' and select the flashmode, now select the correct firmware and click on flash, don't do nothing more then that, after this connect your Z1 holding the button VOLUME DOWN, the flashing process will start.
3 - After this you will need to get root, so download this files KERNEL .108 FOR C69XX, KERNEL .157 FOR C6943 and the root tool
A - Open Flashtools, click the 'lightning bolt' icon and select the firmware 108. Click FLASH and plug the phone on computer holding the volume down.
B - In just a few seconds the app warns you that the procedure is finished and it will tell you to restart, do it.
C - Start your phone, check out on options if "USB Debugg" and "Unknown Applications" are enabled and Apply the Root with the root tool.
D - extract the root tool and plug your device into your comput.er
E - Run install.bat and follow the instructions on screen it's easy.
F - After the root process is done, check if your phone is really rooted then Turn off the phone.
G - now just repeat the step A with 157 specific firmware for C6943.
4 - Time to install the RECOVERY
A - Download the correct version from NUT'S DATABASE chose the latest version of the file "Z1-lockeddualrecovery[VERSION]-BETA.installer.zip"
B - After downloaded and extracted, plug in your phone with "USB Debugg" and "Unknown Applications" enabled and run install.bat, now just select the right option and follow the instructions, is pretty easy too.
5 - After done, it's time to deodex your rom, download this KIT.
ALREADY DONE FILE HERE, JUST IGNORE THE INSTRUCTIONS TO CREATE THE FILE.
A - Extract downloaded tool and Run main.bat.
B - Type 1 to create working folder.
C - Don't forgetting to enable the USB Debugging, Plug in your phone, then type 2 to pull files from your device. (This step can be skipped if you manually copy /system/app, /system/framework, /system/priv-app to /Kitkat_Deodexer/system)
D - Type 3 to start deodexing and Type 4 to create flashable zip.
E - Move the .zip to your sd card then turn on the phone on the recovery. (when the phone starts to boot and a green light shows up press VOLUME DOWN, the light will turn on purple and the phone will enter on the recovery mode)
F - Now just flash the .zip on the recovery and it's all done.
6 - Now it's time to install the 4K. You can use this video guide too.
A - Download this files, MOD, Serajr XPERIA and the XPOSED INSTALLER.
B - Move all the files to the sd card.
C - Just open and install the XPOSED INSTALLER and the Serajr Xperia in this order.
D - Open the XPOSED INSTALLER, go to FRAMEWORK, INSTALL and REBOOT
E - Now go to MODULES, Activate(check) the Serajr XPERIA and REEBOT AGAIN.
F - After this, go to the app menu and open the XPERIA XPOSED, go to system and ENABLE CUSTOMIZATIONS (CHECK IF SUPER USER MODE IS ENABLED TOO)
E - Now just turn off your phone and go to the RECOVERY MODE AGAIN.
F - Flash the "MOD" file on the recovery and wipe the dalvik cache.
G - ALL DONE, XPERIA Z1 ROOTED, DEODEXED and with 4K. :highfive:

i've seeing that some users are relating some problems with this tool to deodex on this firmware version, you can try this other tool too, tell me if works properly, by the way, before you try to deodex, you followed all the steps on my guide since the beggining, creating the FTF, FLASHING AND ETC... ?

yep, you gonna lost your custom kernel, maybe when you gonna flash the FTF with flashtool you can exclude the kernel from the flashing process, which i really don't recomend, but the FTF have a new whole system, this include a new kernel that btw you gonna have to change and rechange on the root process for this version on the step 3, so i can't confirm to you once that i never changed my kernel and not even unlocked my bootloader, in my opinion, if you keep wanting a custom kernel, you should do the whole process and after that you would install your custom kernel back, I think it would be less risky and easier

Nope I didn't, I only want to move to 157 if I'm sure it can be deodexed. So I'm trying to make a flashable deodex patch before moving to 157. I hope @RHBH can help us with that da uma força ae brow! Valew!

cara então como que você tentou deodexar se primeiro você precisa ter a ROM .157 instalada pra ai sim usar a ferramenta do tutorial, tu instala o firmware no z1 executa a ferramenta para deodexar conecta o celular no pc ja roteado e com usb debug e ai sim a ferramenta vai copiar os aplicativos do sistema do celular para deodexar e criar o arquivo zipado para depois dar flash pelo recovery sendo do mesmo jeito para a outra ferramenta para esse mesmo processo caso a primeira nao funcione.... e realmente o @RHBH sumiu da cena, ele sempre fazia os zips deodexados, por ele nao fazer pra esta versão decidi iniciar esse tópico

I just bought a Z3, people are saying that with Z4 Sony will stop their 6-month flasgship cycle, if this is true Z5 only in 2016.
Tem outras formas de copiar o conteúdo da rom sem ela estar instalada, e assim eu tentei o deodex mas dava erro e o meu medo seja tentar instalar esse deodex que deu erro e travar tudo igual já fiz uma vez ! Mas com a ajuda do @RHBH vou sem medo, instalei todos os deodex que ele criou e tudo funfa 100% xD

Q: Will this conflict with any mod I'm using?
A: As long as it doesn't have any entropy related stuff, its okay. Since the kernel already comes with an inbuilt entropy generator, it will conflict with the ones from mod, causing a poor, stuttered performance!
Q: Deep Sleep isnt working for me, Google Services causing wake-locks, what to do?
A: Go to settings, Privacy, Privacy Guard, All apps, long press Google Services, and deny/disable wake-locks! (Thanks to @Paget96 for the solution)
Q: Which version should I flash
A: Flash kernel with model number (E612), don't use (E610) or you may have problems with deep sleep
Q: Which frequency is the safest
A: The default frequency, 800MHz, is the safest!
But, there's no harm in overclocking upto 1100MHz.

Cara, pra começar, o xda cobra bastante nos membros para que escrevam em inglês.
Pelo que eu vi no google, o LG L4 II (não achei o L4 primeira geração) tem o chipset mtk. Não sei se é possível portar roms de chipset diferentes. Sendo assim, esta rom NÃO é compatível com este modelo de celular. No caso de compilar uma rom cyanogenmod 12.1 para o L4 II, irá baixar bastante arquivos só pra compilar. O meu amigo Jonas me falou que demora só pra compilar um kernel. Imagina uma rom!

Olá gostaria de perguntar uma coisa!! Houve um tempo que eu desbloquiei o bootloader do meu moto e4 xt1763 fiz root e fiquei usando por um tempo,. Ai enjoei e reinstalei a ROM stock de novo,. Eu queria saber se ao reinstalar a rom stock o bootloader bloqueia ou não?? Lembrando que toda vez que eu ligo ele, aparece uma msg "device unlocked"
Sim, meu amigo, tem como sim você instala a rom stock sim, o bootloader bloquear sim, caso queira desbloquear você vai ter que fazer os procedimentos de desbloqueo de novo,

Sim, meu amigo, tem como sim você instala a rom stock sim, o bootloader bloquear sim, caso queira desbloquear você vai ter que fazer os procedimentos de desbloqueo de novo,

Obrigado amigo,. Eu só fiquei com essa dúvida ai, pq mesmo eu instalando a stock rom,. Aparece uma msg na tela "Divice unlocked"

The installation was no brainer but still seems to require more work..
*Battery Drain very high
*Don't see any fast charge comparison same
As last 2.5 min for 1 %
Hate to say but uninstalled it to save trouble to charge again from zero next morning

I know there are a lot of power issues in v4.0. I was re working woods kernel since this last week I was able to make huge changes. To make it stable and smooth. Ill hope to release a new version with more new features and some features are removed. I'll hope you will enjoy it. Thanks

Maybe its led cuz there is bezel backpanel led too
Only visible in pitch dark .. (if no trouble disable it)
Kernel by thehitman was much stable than this.. ask if he can help :good:

I already said I was totally re-base the kernel to NMA26.42-169 and pick up needed features.
Where is the bezel back panel led? In woods there is one white led in front that is control by mt65xx led driver.

Check it in a dark room when led is turned on the bezel also lit up .. its cool but consumes allot of juice..

Download a rom from where? And most rom links will go to another page, they have to be hosted somewhere. But I don't know which download (and where?) you're talking about

I would like to download the Motorola xoom 604 stock rom but every time I come to download the version I want it sends me to another page called duckbox And then I can't download it

You're in the OnePlus 5T section of the forum, there are no Motorola roms here.
Maybe try asking in the thread where you're trying to download the Motorola rom from?
