had anyone here has a java emu update file thanks

Android doesn't use a java VM it uses dalvik instead. Dalvik was reverse engineered to do java. I am pretty sure there are no updates for it except gingerbread.

by the way sir thanks for replying found a java emulator that works on no so super froyo because need it to run operamini jar files and don need to root file to read only fille system thank you thread closed

hmm, instead of running opera mini jar on java emulator, why didn't you install operamini from market, or download the apk and install it via astro?
I think it will be better in performance.

[Q] Install Games to Ace

Hi im newbie here.... have Samsung Galaxy Ace 2.3.4 rooted...How I can install games...???I have downloaded some games like Gangstar_Miami_Vindication and Assasin Creed...they have the .apk file...and a folder with the files of the game...where i must put them in the sd card???

if U have games of gameloft, put the folder in /sdcard/gameloft/games/(folder games).
ex: /sdcard/gameloft/games/asphalt5 (for ashpalt 5 game).

You have rooted phone but dont know installing games, interesting.
Anyway, you can install games, application 2 way.
1. You can install via kies.
2. You can copy ur games, application which means *.*apk extension to ur sd card, and go ur files, find ur copied stuffs and click it. Thats all.

How else can he get the apk files on the computer

Umm... everything looks hard like everybody is saying.
I just use opera mini. Its a web app.
and then i download my games from the web and install them right on my phone.

Not hard mate, installing something to phone; easiest work.
P.S: Sometimes application and games load ur phone with *.*zip or *.*rar extension. You must change the extension to *.*apk. E.X: thegame.zip > to > thegame.apk.

Play store?

if you have apk files on your sdcard, just download any app installer app from the playstore and you will be able to install apk files from your sdcard

Here is my easy tutorial:-
Case 1(If games are of EA):-
1.Download the apk and the data from the known Games Cracking Websites.
2.Put data folder(Name of folder can be com.ea.xxxx.xx or com.eamobile.xxx.xx) in /SD card/Android/data.
3.After that install the Apk.
4.Launch the game and play.
Case 2(If the games are of Gameloft):-
1.Download the apk and the data from the known Games Cracking Websites.
2.Put data folder(Name can be Like let's say the name of the game) in /SD card/Gameloft/games.
3.After that install the downloaded apk.
4.Launch the game and play.

try downloading app's/game's from apktops.com really heaven for android users all the lates and popular apk are updated daily...

Yeah, I think apktops is a little bit old. apknew.com is their new site I think. Also you can download in 1mobile.com.

Use google translate. Copy the audio folder from the russain link data and use it with the first link data I gave. Sound slows it down on S-ON.

atleast you can tell me what's the size if apk you installed.....its working on my wfs but hell slow....so if you can tell us a step by step guide...also specs of your wfs..means how much ram/phone memory free on your wfs etc ......if you can't upload here ...pm me link I wanna test it...

There's only one kind of APK you can install. Use google. Performance is merely dependant on the data package you put into the folder.
Use the first link on the first post to download the data. It works perfectly without sound.
If you want sound, download the normal data package (second link without tegra effects and performance) and copy JUST the audio folder from there.

hmmm, are using any audio files? is there sound?
EDIT: I have an idea. The only performance tweak I use on my phone is an app called Autokiller Memory Optimizer. https://market.android.com/details?id=com.rs.autokiller&hl=en Install that and enable all the advanced settings. Don't worry about the dialogue's asking for root.

hmmm, not sure of the problem. Try reinstalling.

I have installed the game, downloaded and added files to sd card. now when I start the app. it is just a black screen, when I touch the screen a prompt appears wait or force close. any idea? I downloaded the first link. I have CM7 alquez KANG ROM.

Same here.

did you first download sd card content, then rename it and then put it to folder where its said... and then installed the game, and when it asks to download stuff you just back then home, and then run it from notifications ....

I have never used that method but it wont help you much.. You are just fooling your phone to be arm v7 thats it....

I also read a comment possibly on another blog about this modification, A person said after doing this, you then lose the ability to play ARMv6 games or something like that.

you can fool the devices identity, but you can never fool the capacity of ur phone

I tried to do that, but nothing good happened. Some previous application
that I've been installed were lost. And the phone can't back to it's original
setting because you can't edit it again at the root explorer. So what I made
I flash again my phone to the prefer Custom Rom.

@shaider19, have you tried mounting the system folder as R/W?. Of course you can't edit your build.prop file back because the system folder is mounted as read-only by default.

If u change the armeabi to armeabi-v7a some arm6 app wont work, I found on the galaxy note that have 2 type cpu, just add this text "ro.product.cpu.abi2=armeabi-v7a" to your build.prop and reboot it'll work dude, I've tried it, I can use arm7 app w/o missing my arm6 app

make armv6 devices look like armv7

this tweak will fool your device to look like armv7 device.so there will not be any compatibility issues. this tweak will allow you to play Armv7 games on your galaxy y, . The cons is some Armv6 games that is installed will not work anymore
1. make sure you root your phone
2. Download ROOT explorer
3. Use it and go to /system, then on upper right hand side corner tap on r/w
4. tap and long press build.prop and look for Open using text editor
5. rename this
ro.product.cpu=armeabi
to
ro.product.cpu=armeabi-v7a
restart your phone after that

cause i have tried downloading temple run and installed it...and it its not installed ( back then when i knew temple run doesnt work on sgy )

Many games won't install
Armv7 games install but no use
And wat are the uses ?
