How to enable "Sync Picasa Web Albums" on Samsung Intercept - Intercept Themes and Apps

Some Android phones allow syncing from the Android Gallery app to Picasa Web Albums. Here's one example, with screenshots.
As far as I know, this feature doesn't exist by default on the Samsung Intercept. How can we enable this?
I tried to install the APK from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=653503 , but my Intercept tells me that this file format is not supported on my device.

Hello friends,
I m much surprised to see lots of feture of nexus one is not available on htc desire.Nexus one have 3D gallery with picasa sync option.
Simply want to know that the picasa sync is available on HTC gallery "photos" in Derise??
If you go into Settings > Accounts and Sync > Google
There is an option for Sync Picassa web albums.
However, on mine anyway this doesnt work. :S
Not sure why as I'd like to use this feature!
I didn't want to have to open a yahoo account to use flickr. I wanted to use picasa. I can't find a default app for picasa, which is a surprise or am I missing a trick?
AFAIK Sync to picasa only works at the early @gmail.com accounts but just ask google about it ;-)
search for picasa tool pro from the market. Works a treat.
thanks very much. I'll give it a try...

But with my dedire hd, I still couldn't use picasa album without vpn connected. So Is there any picasa app that support https?

Sync photos

On vanilla android, there is an option to "make an album available offline". My only assumption that this is for linking to some cloud-storage but what is it talking about? Google Photos? Can you use that with DropBox? Is there a way to use Google Photos without having it sharing with Google+ and what not?
Making an album available offline "should" cache/download selected Google albums to your phone such that they are available even when you in airplane mode. Having said that - all my Google account photos seem to be available, whether I'm on or offline. Also, photos uploaded into Google+ remain private unless you explicitly indicate who you want to share the photo/album to among your Google+ friends/circles.
I've also noticed that my albums whether in Picasaweb or Google+ are available and accessible from either web-app.
Dropbox, from the Dropbox app, has its separate "camera upload" feature to copy your photos to your dropbox folders. Select a private folder to keep your photos private.
But how do you get the pictures to Google Photos? You can't "sync" with DropBox, right, just auto upload? Must you have the photos go to Google+?

[Q] Allshare

hello,
on my old SGS2 I could use the Allshare DLNA App to access my Twonky Mediaserver running on a separate PC.
I could stream photos/videos and music to my SGS2 using the app.
On the Galaxy Note II I only found Allshare Play and additionally there is the option to access the media server via the "find other device" option within the default video/music/galery app.
This would be ok but for one big problem. Using the find other device or Allshare Play does not use/show the folder structure on the media server.
I just get one big list of files.
For example my photos on the media server are ordered in different folders by date so I want to be able to choose from these folders on my mobile.
The old Allshare App on the SGS2 was able to show media "by folder" for as far as I remember.
Is there any way to get this funtionality with the Note II? Am I missing something?
Have you tried any 3rd party DLNA application?

[Q] "Instant Upload" album problem

I don't know what happened here, but I'll try to explain. I guess it happened after I recently updated to 4.2.2. Suddenly the online albums in my Gallery app are all whacked.
1) The Instant Upload album says 0 items.
2) There are dozens of albums named after dates, for example "2012/11/10 -" or "2012/10/23"
In that first example the hyphen wasn't a type-o. It's actually in the album name.
3) All of the albums with dates as a name don't exist on Google Plus! I deleted every online album in Google Plus from the website and/or with the Picasa desktop client. I have NO online albums, but they still show in the gallery (and you can't delete an online album from the phone).
4) The albums with date names seem to be albums that used to have names that I gave them (they changed somehow).
5) If I use Picasa and click "import from google plus albums" it shows me all of the date name albums, but again, if I look on the G+ website there ARE NO albums.
What happened and how can I fix it?
EDIT: I found these phantom albums in the old Picasa Web that still exists at https://picasaweb.google.com/home
Now have to figure out if I already have the pics in other albums. Pain in my ass.
