The build number is 2.73.771.73, so it's just a 1.5 ROM.

Yup. Go to a site like www.mediafire.com, and upload it there if you want.

thats a shame why release a 1.5 update when htc are SUPPOSED to release 2.1
Well, HTC would have to release it for stock, unbranded heroes before 3 could possible release it (HTC sends the final stock ROM to 3, who test it and add their own [cough]enhancements[/cough](aka. junk).
So, until we see a stock (ie. retail, unbranded) Hero RUU up there, I don't think there is much chance of 2.1

H3G is Hutchison 3G - the full name of the UK mobile operator 3.
I will take a look at rooting this rom today.

Problems with rom, flashes ok but no data or wifi. Will investigate tonight.
Im thinking its missing some wifi drivers cause this was a problem when i used to run android on my htc tilt wimo.

This is an old firmware, July 2011 bada 1.2.
I wonder why it's coming up now, when there are August/September Firmware for bada 1.2 for Europe (XXKF3).
Or maybe, this is a specialized/localized firmware for only Italy. All the same, it's a July bada 1.2 firmware. And not bada 2.0.

Looking for a BTU (UK compatible) firmware for the GT-I9190, any developer have any information on this? pre-rooted would be great also.
There are certain apps etc on Google Play that I can't access/purchase, IE Asphalt 7/8. I'm thinking it's because they are region locked. I have foreign firmware.
Any help/advice would be appreciated.
You could try using a firmware that is known to be able to purchase Asphalt 7/8 so that you can better diagnose your issue.

I just Bought This model yesterday and i noticed there is no Kids mode that i really want without rooting my device, i found a download which contain all the apks and installed it and worked okay but not fully, then when i click update it updates to latest version but the "recent app" key didnot work, so i end up resetting device to factory default and all was back okay but no kids mode, the device if UAE (United Arab Emirates Version) with Firmware Version: T320XXU1ANAJ/T320OJV1ANA7/T320XXU1ANAJ/T320XXU1ANAJ (XSG) [As shown in KIES].
Ayway i can get it without rooting, maybe changing CSC, please let me know the steps

I don't need kid mode, but it sounds like the newest firmware version has it. What version are you running?
