Post your idea's... who knows maybe the next update may have your idea in place.
My idea was adding a online XDA radio station, with up to date news and perhaps music when nothing special is happening.

I had the same Idea as you guys so I started making a web site to list all the Homebrew apps. Not very far along yet I try to get around to it on my spare time but come check it out if you like.

Please keep discussion threads out of the App release section.
I've been searching for months now and have had no luck. Does anyone know if a mod exists that will remove the page jumps from my homescreen ? It would allow me to scroll from one end of my screens to the other end with one flick. In ios it was called smoothboard. Any help guys? Ever even heard of it on an android ?
Launcher Pro does that.

Thanks for the reply, but I'm not talking about virtual looping at the ends. I'm talking about flicking it on my farthest left screen all the way through my screens to the farthest on the right. It would also allow you to stop the homescreen with two rows from each page available. Any idea what I mean or anyone else have any help?
Nothing guys? I'm wondering if this is even possible ?
I've given up and moved on.
If any dev were to take this challenge on I would handsomely reward them.
I would probably pay around $50 to have this functionality.
Sorry mods, I just needed a few more posts so that I can post a reply on a newly released roms thread. No questions or noob problems, just wanna be able to post and tell people how crazy it is.
But the deal is really still on the table though!
Just stumbled across this thread:

People have tried to get a Milkdrop (Music Visualization) apk working - I'd LOVE to have this working; even if it did eat up battery, it'd be great to show off or to have while plugged in.
I hope devs might want to have a look
Any ideas?
Ive jus been PM'd by an apparent DEV who is interested in porting this project. Their username is: AerialX. But supposedly can't post on any forums because of a techincal forum issue.
I can't believe this project may may be getting underway!
I've spent ages looking for something like this. I hope it happens

I have looked all over XDA and Google looking for an answer, so I hope I am not starting a repetitive thread.
I got my girlfriends Moto X in the mail today and she got a free Motorola Skip with it. She isn't going to use it, so I figured I would try and set it up on my HTC One. I can't seem to figure it out. Any suggestions, or tips? Has this been done yet?

I'm fairly sure a lot of people would. I'd like the quick notifications feature too.
Assuming you know how to NFC, can you scan it with NFC tag info and post the results?
I'll have a looksie see how it works.
(Scan tag, email to yourself then copy/paste from the email)

Thanks for posting this, was just coming online to post the same answer. Interested in the results.
If its just a standard tag - doubtful, but who knows with googorolla these days - I have an app called nfcsecure that does a similar thing. Due to limitations of the framework, I can't actually turn the screen on, but its an NFC lockscreen.
Hey folks, long time user here. Thanks for the great board!
But what is the DEAL with these LOUD adds that are showing up on the board lately?
I don't mind seeing 'visual' adds. The board needs to make money somehow!
But when you start putting adds that start talking LOUD, then that is kind of annoying. Very annoying.
Wasn't sure if you were aware of this, so I figured I'd mention it. :good:
I thought I was on Android Central for a moment.
I have noticed the same thing. Started happening to me the past few days. I have also been on this board for years. Lost my old account and don't use the email address any more :/ either way it's new to me

Flipping Hyundai add just blasted my ears and wouldn't let me click to another page. Had to close the entire Chrome tab.
I'm sure XDA will fix this within a couple weeks.
But if not, I'm going to have to put an add block on my browser for this site.
I've noticed it and I had to put add blocker .......
