[Q] Spotify controls on lockscreen - Samsung Galaxy Nexus

Hi guys!
Galaxy Nexus comes with Google Music -controls on lockscreen.
Is there a way of doing the same with spotify?

Sort of. What I've done is put generic previous/pause/next controls in my notification bar using Notification Toggle: https://market.android.com/details?id=de.j4velin.notificationToggle&hl=en (see thread here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1037817 )
So then with the new ICS feature that allows you to interact with the notification bar on the lockscreen, I can just turn the screen on and pull down on the notification bar to access music controls (and they will work with Spotify quite well in my experience).
Or, if you don't mind using something besides the stock lock screen, Widget Locker should do exactly what you're looking for: https://market.android.com/details?id=com.teslacoilsw.widgetlocker&hl=en

Great suggestions! I was wondering when Spotify would add native controls but this initiative works well in the meantime.

[Q] Widgetsoid2.x notification bar widget position problem

Widgetsoid2.x notification bar widget position problem
I created an notification bar widget for Wifi, BT toggle, etc
But, I found that the widget always placed under all other notification items
Is there any setting missed in my Widgetsoid?
e.g.
Notification Bar pull down item
[USB Debug......]
[MTP USB Connection......]
[Whatsapp Notice.....]
[<Widgetsoid Widget>]
Same thing here. Also the background is grey even though I set it to transparent. Im just going to update my Gummy rom, which includes a better looking dropdown toggle anyways.
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using XDA App
because it's a notification any new ones may pop ontop. nothing the developer can do about that.
Seems "Elixir 2" can place on top always....
But I love Widgetsoid2.x due to the loading and UI....

App Shortcut for Info in Status Bar?

Hi guys,
I was just playing around with themes and customizing my homescreens and what not. However, I was wondering if there was a way to display all the default information from the status bar (like wifi/3g/4g connectivity, sound profile, recent notifications) in an app shortcut because I would like to hide the status bar?
Thanks,

The key feature in CNA and other ROMs over stock for me is sound profiles. I'd love to have the current profile displayed in the status bar, a widget, notification drop down, etc.

[app] widgetsoid - add shortcuts to notification bar - no root

Found this app on Phandroid. So far so good. Added a screen brightness and flashlight toggle to my notification bar.

Is there a way to disable the standard Touch Wiz toggle switcher the slides to the left?
I have this app, its awesome, by far my favorite widget app.

[REQUEST] Standalone apps to invoke play/next/previous in stock samsung music app

Hi, basically I'm looking for an app similar to Remoter that works with the stock samsung music app
That app creates 3 individual apps that play/pause, skip forward and skip back. This is useful for lockscreen shortcuts. I'm using Jkay's ICS Deluxe lockscreen (which only allows shortcuts to apps) and my plan is to use the 2nd ring of shortcuts as lockscreen music controls as this particular lockscreen doesn't support the stock control widget

[Q] Add an LED flashlight widget to notification bar?

I'm running a rooted stock build of MG2 (4.1.2) on a Boost Mobile S3. For whatever reason, while stock has many nice notification shade toggles, turning on the camera flash as an on-demand light isn't one of them.
I've read that a future update is expected to bring customizable toggles, but who knows if/when that will happen, if ever.
How can I add a widget, such as TeslaLED, to the notification pull-down? What app would accomplish this? For whatever reason, I prefer to have it in my notification pull-down instead of my home screen. (Why TeslaLED, and not the built-in 'Assistive light' widget? Because TeslalED is a 1x1 widget, and Samsung's is a 2x1, and TeslaLED also has other options, such as timed, strobe, and morse code.)
Thanks!
