Nice pictures! But I think they should've been posted here instead http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1304866 where it belongs.
I'm not trying to pick on you or anything, just making sure it gets posted in the right thread.

New XDA video. What do you think?

What do you think about the new XDA welcome video guys?
Here is the link for the NEW video.
Here is the link for the OLD video.
I added a poll to gather the opinions of other members.

Old one was better in my opinion.
They showed a link in the upper left corner of a page to a "guide for new users", yet I can't seem to find any pages or links like that. Never mind, I found it by logging out, going to the forum homepage. Not my guide.
I also like the old one better, but this one is made to welcome new users instead of scaring them away.

[TIPS] Samsung Galaxy S III: 15 Power User Tips

Hello members,
Every once and a while I come across an interesting article that is worth noting such as the article titled "Samsung Galaxy S III: 15 Power User Tips" over at PC World. There were some well not so known tips and great features that were listed in this article that wowed even me about the Samsung Galaxy III. Dont take my word for it, go over there and become informed. If you know of any other tips that were not posted, please do share the wealth.
Some examples are such as :
Save That Screen Retrieved from this article here:
"Take a screenshot. And another. And another. Taking screenshots with the S III is a snap—all you have to do is swipe the screen with your palm. So go ahead, take some more. And some more. And, well, you get the idea.
Other Android phones don't make it quite as easy. If you're using a phone running Android version 4.0 or later, you have to press and hold the Volume Down and Power buttons at the same time"
Make the Phone a Flashlight
"Stop digging around your bag in the dark, hunting for your keys.
If you have your S III in hand, you've already got a flashlight. The Assistive Light widget—which you can add to your home screen by going to Apps, selecting the Widgets tab, and choosing Assistive Light—turns the camera's flash into a flashlight when you need it most. Some other Android phones have this widget as well.
Want to add the flashlight feature to your Android phone? Check out Tiny Flashlight + LED, available as a free download in Google Play."
Oh yes, here is a great one that I did not know of......
Wake Up in Style
Let's face it: We all have to get out of bed sometime. And what better way to face your day than to be prepared for all it has to offer.
Using the "Briefing" setting on your Galaxy S III's alarm clock, you can have your phone wake you by reading the time, weather and weather forecast, news headlines, and any appointments you may have lined up. To turn this feature on, go to alarm type in the settings menu and change it to briefing.
Not a Galaxy S III owner? Download WakeVoice from Google Play to get some of these features on your Android phone.
Regards,
A lot of those are pretty obvious now that the phone has been out for a while thanks anyways tho.

That's a pretty sick dream. Maybe it was rude of the guy to post that but you don't even know what kind of a person he is IRL. If it bothers you just take a breath and let it go. Saying something like that feeds trolls and they keep going.

[Wallpaper] Nexus 4 back cover mock-up

Hello, long story short I saw a low-res version of this wallpaper and finally found an HD copy.
I decided to play with it and added a little color. I figured I'd post them here, the design is fairly clean and minimal with a little ZING =]
Let me know if you want it in different colors, or tone it down a little bit. Here are a few samples right now, I plan on making different colors tonight after work.

Root box Camera

I am currently on the newest release of Root Box. Included in the update is the HDR feature. Anybody know ways to take pictures very still? Lol I twitch a little bit and the entire picture comes out blurry. Any tips would help if not I guess I'll check out some HDR apps.

LMAO, I have the same problem so I just set the phone on a table and held it there and got one steady, unfortunately I don't enough of a difference between it or a regular shot. I think it is more of an outside thing.... I'll try later when the coffee wears off haha.
Lmao. Yeah it sucks! I might try out some apps but seems like all the good ones you have to pay for.
