1) Leather case, no flip. I like that it's made out of leather and it protects all corners despite having the korean hole thing for TV.

2) Leather cases with flip.
They all look awesome and not that expensive, help me decide !!!
Here's my criteria for choosing a protective case :
1) A case that would allow me to dock the phone (on a Samsung desktop dock) without removing it from the case
2) and a case with a hole on the bottom to allow me to charge it, without having to open the case.
So far, I have found none.
Lemme know if you find one.
The spelling on that eBay page is dreadful, Black is spelt "blcak"

I believe with the zenis dock you can dock the phone with any regular case (the no flip one or any silicon one for example would work with this dock)

It's the only dock I know so far that has a removable part to allow case + phone docking.
As for the charging hole thing on flip cases, well, cut it out yourself
^^Can they sync too?
So I was using the Infuse car dock but wanted to start using a case and it didn't fit anymore. I was going to alter the holder part of that dock to work until I had this idea.
I realized I had the holster part of the holster/shell combo from Verizon that I never use, so i mounted that with ProClip Move plates to my existing ProClip dash mount. We use the ProClip Move plates in our cars so we can move the mounts around for our devices between whatever we're driving.

I missed having the plug part of the dock so that I could just slip my phone in and have it connect to the charger, so i figured out how to attach the microusb to this dock w/ Sugru.
I took the wax backing off of some double stick tape (the leftover part that keeps the sticky tape from sticking to stuff before you mount it) and cut a small slit in it, poked the microusb end through and attached it to my phone and then placed in the holster w/ screen out. This waxy tape backing is what kept the Sugru from bonding to my phone while it cured, but allowed me to mold the Sugru around the form of the bottom of the phone. The front lip is still messy, I plan on adding another layer over this to "clean it up".
The holster had to have those side wings bent out a bit to allow the phone w/ bumper case to slide in and out easier. But now I just slide my phone into this from the top and it clicks right into the micro-usb charger. I have an NFC tag stuck to my sun visor that i use to launch Car Dock v3 from the app market.
After my latest experiment with Arkon Slim Grip Ultra mount used with portable audio DAC/amp (in my E18 review), I just thought of another great idea for this setup. For those who are not familiar with that mount, I have reviewed it before in here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2174449
What unique about that mount is ability to hold any phone up to Note 3 size or any small tablet up to 7"/8" size like Nexus 7 or iPad Mini. But the most important thing is how mounting arm can be detached completely leaving a flat back surface. That is a key for multi functional use of this Arkon mount. Just from my personal experience, lately I have been watching/streaming a lot of movies on my Note 2. Sometime play games as well. One big problem - it drains battery a lot faster in comparison to a normal use. That's expected. One solution is to keep external battery handy. Although there are a lot of slim rectangular external batteries out there, it's not comfortable to hold your phone and a battery together.
What I came up with is a very simple solution. Once Slim Grip Ultra is detached from the mounting arm, you just piggy back battery with two rubber bands and you are done!!! In my example below I was using Anker batteries and FiiO rubber bands which I had handy from my E18 review. I think in this case a picture is worth a thousand words. So take a look at the setup below, which btw can also be used as a kickstand when you place your phone on a flat surface.

This is a review of a carholder from Havit - http://www.amazon.com/dp/B013E5WWZ8
Personally I don’t use car holders very often as they tend to be rather unreliable and cause lots of vibration, and therefore I really paid some attention to the one from Havit. The product itself came in a box that looks very similar to the ones that Havit usually use, and inside the box there was a manual and the card holder itself.
The car holder itself is a very solid one and it’s quite heavy and big compared to other models I’ve tested out in the past. On the bottom of the holder there’s a piece of sticky rubber that you stick to the window of the car, and then all you’ve got to do is to spin the little wheel around for a bit. After installing it it’s very hard to pull it off, but there’s a small rubber flap at the bottom that makes it easy to remove it.
The car holder is quite resistant against vibrations due to its construction, and it feels very solid as well compared to other models that often tend to have quite sketchy quality. The clamp that holds the phone is rubberized so there’s no need to worry about it scratching your phone, and it stays snug in there.
This car holder has many advantages but there’s one thing that some might find annoying, and that’s the size; it’s a bit big and bulky but the added size makes up for it with all the features it offers. Overall, I like this car holder and it’s surely a product that’s worth having a look at.
Note that the product was sent to me for free in exchange of this review, but that does not affect my opinion or reviews in any way.

The entire housing is very pleasing to the eye, with a sleek aluminium body and chamfered edges. Within the tapered aluminium chassis of the Q9 lies 2 USB ports, one offering 1A of current, the other providing 2.1A for tablets and larger devices along with a hands free headset that can be stored in the main housing when not in use, a very convenient and aesthetically pleasing feature.
The Headset itself is compact and connects to your mobile device through a Bluetooth 4.1 connection. It has a multi-function button on the outer face to control answer/hangup functionality as well as play/pause should you choose to use it for music playback. The headset can also connect to two devices for seamless switching.
The inbuilt mic contributes to clear sound quality for the recipient even if it`s placing on the outer side is not ideal. It`s also worth noting that docking the headset within the main housing charges the internal cell ensuring it`s topped up at all times. To top it all off, the Q9 comes with a 100% satisfaction guarantee; customer service will immediately refund your purchase price within 60 days of purchase.
