[DEV]Possible S-OFF Without XTC-Clip v2

Hi Marvel users
I have been trying to find away to S-OFF this phone before i get it in a few weeks i hve been looking at files that ahmadns sent me via pm and i remembered that a .nbh file is a flashable file from hboot the .nbh file is the file that the XTC-Clip uses to s-off the phone. But because i dont have the phone yet i am looking for willing people to try this file to see if it works. Also if this works then it will on S-OFF your device is will not unlock it to all networks that is what the XTC-Clip does after flashing the PG76DIAG.nbh
Here is the steps needed to flash the file:
create GoldCard
put following file on the GoldCard (PG76DIAG.nbh) - http://dl.dbank.com/c0pmlgo4rr
boot to the HBOOT menu
choose clean S58 data
after it's finished, unplug battery and start mobile again
check whether it's S-OFF now
I CANNOT BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE FOR ANY BRICKED DEVICES TRYING THIS IS HIGHLY EXPERIMENTAL

Oh great. Will test it when it works. Just want to wait because wildfire s is my only phone .

Someone with S-ON try this. If it works youll get S-OFF. Just be warned that flashing wrong hboot can brich your device.

God i hope this works if it does i can make a easy installer for users that are S-ON

can you still get back in to hboot?

Wow...who is going to try that, my wife is going to get mobile during christmas, wish it could be slightly "cleaned" and overclocked...but no way with s-on

is that after flashing the hboot from the start post?

Yes it reboots but it launchs a new install
I have restarted and launch HBOOT
But
MARVEL PVT SHIP S ON RL....
So it's not S-OFF
But I don't have any errors flashing my phone and cleaning S58 Data....

can you try rooting it not a temp root?

i try some methods to s-off with stock firmware but i cant...
-i read that gsm and cdma are harware level identicaly and i try this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1416015 and install "RUU_Marvel_Virgin_Mobile_1.37.351.1_Radio_47.10.35.3029H_7.46.35.08_release_188032_signed", i done but when i power in fastboot it says me "security error" when i try to clear s58... my h-boot are 1.08, i think this is the problem but i cant downgrade...
-y try change to cdma mode with *#*#4636#*#* and automatic changes to wcdma...

try to install insink71_marvelc_signed_120411_130517 renaming this as PG76IMG.zip, and after some minutes installing got security error...

i think is hboot, but im not sure, and i dont know if i would downgrade 1.08 to any s-off able. I dont like pay for xtc-clip

The gsm version of the wildfire s can't unlock without xtc clip at this time. Please read the topics about in this forum.

Some people seems sucessfully change gsm to cdma (maybe fake xd?) and i try this...
i like to know why cant...

The most we've done is when fastboot, after diagnostic tests he says "cleaning S58", and later restart the phone ...
I read that phone reset when it detects no SIM card, so install the CDMA firmware, but does not work ...
I ordered samples to st for the microprocessor of XTC-CLIP (to build them). But I would like to find a software solution ...

I removed all the pre-installed software by flashing a cut down custom ROM. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1842771.
In order to do this all I needed to do was unlock and root the device. which I did via: http://www.htcdev.com/, click on the unlock bootloader link and follow the instructions, I don't remember all the details and I've only done it once, but I don't recall it being difficult. This unlocks the bootloader so you can install custom ROMs but doesn't S-OFF the phone, but it would seem that the phone doesn't have to be S-OFF to install custom ROMs.
However I am now looking to S-OFF the phone (so that I can allocate unused space in system.img to data.img), I've followed many many tutorials and guides and nothing works, reading this thread, it would seem that it's not possible for HTC Wildfire S - HBOOT 1.08.0099 or 1.09.0099 (mine is the former). Am I correct in this assumption?
I have read about Revone on other threads would this work with my phone? Has anyone tried it?

Have u unlcoked bootloader? and used cwm?

Hello, I'm trying to root an wildfire s with this configuration : Marvel PVT SHIP S-ON RL HBOOT-1.09.0099 MICROP-0451 RADIO-7.57.39.10M but when I flash any recovery image with fastboot or sd card it does'nt work , with fatboot the phone stuck on logo, and with the sd card I have two message error (error cid , error ID ) And I found some many people with same probleme, but I dont found any solution; so I hope if there's somebody who give some solution working; like downgrade bootloader or a spcial recovery image for this model of marvel Thank's

S-ON?? Did you unlock bootloader first? You must have S-ON (Unlocked) or S-OFF...

there is no official RUU ROM yet.
check Desire 300 Android Development > Device Essential Material *** RUU,s / Recovery / Radio / Root / S-Off / Guides *** (can't post links) for updates, and ask there for the RUU ROM.

Doesn't your hboot still have fastboot?
You could try flashing a working recovery via fastboot.
That way you might have a chance to restore your backups or to try installing the repacked stock odex rom.
Congrats for aquiring a S-OFF'd Desire 300 btw. Let's hope you will eventually actually get to use it. :fingers-crossed:

HTC Desire S-Off any way to work?

Is it possible now to s-off this phone,(HTC DESIRE) or I can put it in garbage. I try every guide on xda,revolutionary has gone,alpha too,unrevoked did`n`t work,adb fastbot can`t help,cause S-On don`t allow to write anything in phone.I try htcdev.com but it can`t read token,just INFO ERR.
I have all drivers,adb,fastboot,htc...When conect my phone and PC,no err,all is ok.In Bootloader is usb plug too.
I instaled RUU 2.3 and after that is s-On pvt4 ship S-ON
So,can anybody help,other way,idea....anything?

Have u tried rumrunner s-off? Its for htc devices, dunno if it will work but u can look at the web page

good idea but we dont have ROOT, and we cannot root 2.33 with htc dev or any other method
