Thought I'd share this bargain with fellow UK Note owners:
S Line Wave Gel Case
Stylus Pen
Screen Guard
I'd be surprised if the quality isn't poor but you can't really go wrong for this price.
Available in a range of colours too. I went for black and red.
Black: www.ebay.co.uk/itm/280784707268
looks good for the price, i got the case and screen protector from them, but the stylus? im not sure if it will fit in the stylus slot - don't wanna carry a a pen with me instead.
Good find though
Very cheap, but the case very ugly.

whats the case like?
The case is ok, its not going to win any awards though. It clips over the phone like any other rubber/plastic case and i think it will do a lot better job protecting the phone than a hard case, which will more than likley crack with impact etc.
It does have grips around both sides and it does make my note feel a bit more bulky but i dont mind. Its so cheap i can easily replace it if needed.

I'm pretty sure they're exactly the same besides the hybrid one being half gloss half matte. I personally perefer the look of the all matte one, but I hear the gloss has better grip so if that's important to you get the hybrid one.
Hybrid sometimes means the back is hard plastic. But its hard to tell from that ebay auction.
I went with the ebay one. This thread was pretty convincing.

Using the hybrid one from ebay now and love it. I actually get clicky responsiveness from all the covered buttons, and the black color looks like it's part of the phone

this is by far the best case i've ever owned - it was only $3 and got here in a week (coming from China - not bad). the side grips are great and make all the difference in terms of knowing its never going to slip out of your hand. the gloss black has the plasticky grip you would expect and the matt finish keeps it looking slick (no fingerprints) and moveable in and out of your pocket. even though i'm quoting the guy who said it, im gonna echo him and say i was ready to cut out the button covers because i was expecting it to be stiff and impractical, but i was completely wrong when i got it, they were marshmallows. overall - the only issues you'll find is slight slight slight miscuts around the bottom mic, usb slot and speaker (slight = take out a ruler to see that its like .5nm off center)
and it makes the ET look soo much more sexier, i take it out of my pocket just to look at the case. i dont even turn on the phone lol -.-'
by going with the all matte version, you wouldn't nearly get as much grip all around the phone, you would have to cut out the button covers, and you would pay 3x as much (not including shipping from amazon).
IMHO - you cant go wrong with spending $3 on the hybrid and then deciding if you still want the full matte, which you wont.
I have both and I have to say, the $2.90 case from eBay is my go-to case now. The textured sides really add a lot of grip and I actually find the buttons easier to push on this case than the TPU case from Amazon. The eBay case also fits a bit tighter around the perimeter. Only negative to the eBay case is the camera hole on the back is slightly out of alignment, by a millimeter or so. It is only noticeable if you really look for it and not enough to want to stop using the case. The grippy sides are really the best feature and you absolutely can't beat the price!
i have found this case at ebay for galaxy note and would like to hear your oppinion about it? maybe anyone has it and can leave some feedback

I have the brown one and it looks elegant but mine doesn't fit well. I mean, I can hear some squeaking when I press on both sides and honestly it bothers me sometimes. I don't know if it's just mine though. The texture feels great and it protects the four corners of the phone, which in my opinion are the areas most likely to hit the ground first if you drop them. It's not stitched and I feel that overtime the sides might separate. I have not tried the free screen protector because I'm not into screen protectors at all. I just really like feeling the glass when I swipe, lol.
I've got a black one, really nice quality
was half the price of the samsung cover (well in New Zealand anyway...)
and much nicer, covers the back perfectly and protects from drops all around and looks really stylish. No magnets or clips to haggle with for flipping the cover.
Its true its not stitched around the corners which gives in a potential to separate, but it seems like a very thick kind of rubber type sealant edging, not cheap superglue type stuff, so very flexible and shouldnt seperate unless you bend it in ways it shouldnt go.
I've had mine for a couple of months and stick it in my pocket everyday, flip the cover over fully to the otherside all the time for holding/calling, got a nice felt material inside on the screen side of the cover, plastic holder for the phone but holds the phone very well but you can still get the phone out easily if needed.
The cover sits perfectly flat on the phone (standard back cover on my phone probably wont fit one of those non-oem aluminium covers which are slightly thincker I believe)
Arrived in a couple of weeks from an ebay seller in Hong Kong I think..
I recommend it! and hey, its only a few bucks so no big loss if its not your exact preference
thank you guys for very well-explained feedback samsung original flip cover cost same price as this cover, so i prefer buying this verus cover instead samsung flip
Dude, I too have this.. I'd say I am happy with it.. but then, have you had a look at Zenus GALAXY NOTE MASSTIGE BLOCK FOLIO ?? This one has a stand too.. and almost for same price..
My Verus has the "squeaking sound when I press on both sides"

If you mean if the front cover can easily flip to the back of the note I'd say yes and you could actually squeeze it flat not like the free flip cover that it leaves an extra front cover out the side so you can't really hold it flat comfortably. Also, the logo in the flip cover leaves a mark on the screen, but not really a biggy. It's either dirt or moisture because of the concavity, I'm not really sure. You can wipe it off easily though. I have mine for just a couple of weeks so maybe that'll disappear over time. And I agree, it's a good case for the price and you won't regret getting it.
I've attached some pictures for reference.
And a few more.

Has anyone bought or tried this case? in looks very interesting as its so thin it may be comparable to buying something like the Bodyguardz skins without the hassle of sticking that stuff on.
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1mm-Ultra...sesPouches&hash=item4165054cf6#ht_2462wt_1168
Got a few days ago, pretty good, very very thin but slippery. Did a quick video to show it in action.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KG2HBa-62Rc
i've got one. its about 0.5mm thick in some parts, so the only thing its good for is protecting the phone's body from scratches. it offers no drop protection, and no camera protection, and its not grippy either.
i prefer my ringke slim case and my anymode pebble jelly case, theyre grippy and dont add much bulk, and offer decent protection for the corners of the phone (if you drop your phone, its more likely to land on a corner) and it goes slightly over the edges of the screen, so if your phone does land face first, the glass is less likely to touch the ground, making it less likely to shatter.
Thanks Souai, I had the ringke for my galaxy s2 and i found that after a while it started stretching out and not fit the phone properly. The reason why im so keen on these ultra thin ones is more as an alternative is the skin shields. ill check out the pebble case though.
looks similar to the Case Mate Barely There.

$54 seems a a lot for a case, the 1mm is just $4 including delivery.
lol 5000 INR is not 54$ its more than 100$ to my knowledge and also that for a case is too much IMHO...
Anyway I would have bought one if it was sold from Amazon . Looks nice
Yeah, I hate ebay and their bloody fees, Ive ordered one though , it'll take a few weeks for it to arrive, ill report back then.

I ordered some from ebay (the seller sold them in pairs) - one was cracked from the start and unusable, and the other was slightly warped from being stuffed in the padded envelope. I found them to be not very grippy, and the cut-out for the m/usb was quite sharp, and being as I rest the Note on my little finger when I hold it one-handed, painful!
Hope you have better luck than I did - I just use the Note bare-back now!

Every time i buy a new phone get into a mad rush to buy cases for it, i use them for a week or two then ditch them because I prefer to use the phone bare, i'll probably do the same as you Towserspvm2000, but at below 3 quid a pop im not going to be losing out on much if it is crappy.
Just got this case from China. I like it. Simple and almost like it is bare. Only issue is the buttons are a little harder to push. But not a deal breaker. This is my third case. thinnest and the lightest. Not bad for $4US. Just got to make sure I don't drop it. More for scratch protection than anything.
hey guys, got the case and its pretty good but bloody slippery. Put up a youtube video to show it in action.

Any tips on a decent ebay case?
Just received this one: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/261027269...eName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649
The fit is really tight, camera is somewhat protected (about 0.5mm beneath surface) and extra grip on the sides is good I guess (I was already used to the smooth finish one the phone itself so the grainy surface feel a bit weird). Buttons need a lot more force to push though. Good for some afraid to accidentally activating the phone while in their pocket, but for me it's ruining the usage experience a bit. I probably will get used to it after a couple of days.
Anyway it's really cheap and in my opinion worth a try.
Btw, the one advertised as grey is actually clear with matte clear in the middle.
Thanks, I preffer those that are more flexible though or the snap-on one.
I am using a case similar to this but bought from amazon, I like the idea that the camera lense is protected by 5mm, no scratches and case doesn't get in the way of pics
It adds a bit more bulk to the phone, less likely to slip out your hand as well, buttons are harder to press, no accidental presses while in your pocket, all the cut outs are perfect, which I was very pleased about
Think I payed £1.95 + p&p....I still think I robbed them, seriously under priced for such a well fitted case and all cut outs perfect

The price was £1.49 (I think seller has changed the price) and you get case, screen protector and a stylus.
All the holes line up and it adds a bit of bulk to the phone. The screen protector was not a perfect fit but I seem to be using the stylus more than I thought (it works really well and keeps my finger prints off lol)
cant complain for less than 2 quid.
I can't say enough good things about this case: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Clear-Screen-Protector-Qubits-Accessories/dp/B007V38BF0/ref=pd_cp_ce_1
It's on amazon but I've seen them listed on ebay under different names.
It basically looks just like the pictures and really looks good on the phone. It doesn't add much bulk and does a really good job at protecting everything. The included screen protectors are nice. They scratch easily but they don't show prints as much or have that rainbow effect like harder protectors. There are tons of cases out there for 10x the price but I wouldn't trade them for this one. I wish the pogo pins weren't covered but I'm not sure they would work anyway with the added thickness of the case.
Nillkin TPU case

I got myself one of those from ebay. It fits really well and looks decent but the buttons are not molded well. Even the slightest touch and power / volume buttons will activate. Maybe I just got a dud product.
I will try to gouge some plastic away from the bottom where the buttons should fit and it should make the case usable. Not going to send it back because it was so cheap and not worth the hassle.

That doesn't sound like the same case because mine does not have any issues like that. The buttons feel normal; not particularly hard or easy to push.

Like I mentioned mine probably got overlooked by the monkeys in the QA line (if the manufacturers of these cheap cases even have those ).
If you got a perfect case then good for you - it fits the phone perfectly and protects the camera very well.

hi guys, i have to buy a case for my galaxy nexus, is katinkas case that good?
http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B008D8UTQ6/ref=gno_cart_title_1?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE
it looks really thin, anyone has experienced it?
nobody knows?
This video may not give many opinions on the case but it show cases it a little better. For what it's worth it looks like one of the simplest nicest cases I've came across. Good find!
Found it for $4.93 on Amazon US as an add-on item (total in cart, including this, must be $25 or more). Ordered one for the rare occasions I need a cover. Mine is normally bare. Family member uses the Diztronic on his.
I just got mine from Amazon. Paid about $12 for it. Sorry, don't have pictures, but here's my take -
Very slim plastic material - thinner than the Diztronic Matte Black Flexible case, which I had on before this. It's not like TPU, which has a more rubbery consistency.
Does not cover the bezel at all, so if you lay your phone face down, the case does not touch - this is probably the biggest issue for me.
Cutouts are precise, but do require just slightly more pressure to use the power and volume buttons.
Overall, not bad for under $15. I would not pay any more than that, though. I think the Diztronic case is a better buy. It's cheaper, better quality IMHO, and comes with a screen protector.
If the Katinkas covered the bezel, even just a bit, I'd definitely keep it on the phone.
It looks cool
Is there white version (or more clear) too?
Yes there is
