Look at the feature list for your kernel.

well I know that its listed in the feature list, but being a computer overclocker I always like to be able to see what everything is running at. Just curious I guess...

Just trust the devs as I don't think there is a way to check with an app

Epic touch single core?

Open quadrant standard and go to system info, you will that it says "cores: 1". Whats going on?

The app is outdated and pointless to believe... You have a dual core phone... Now kindly delete the useless app from your phone

quadrant only uses one core... As nate said, it is outdated... There are better benchmark programs to use now.
LOL........

Passmark has recently released their mobile benchmark program which is more in depth than the current ones people use. Hopefully it will become the new standard.

Is there a reason why I only have 631MB of RAM?

I have the GSM version that I got from handtec. I used Antutu tester and Android System Info and they give me Max RAM at 631MB. I have Android Revolution 1.3.2. with Franco's latest kernal

It's probably shared with the GPU, or reserved for the OS in some way.

Aww OK I was a bit scared. What about my CPU? I used setCPU to OC my phone to 1.4Ghz using the recommended settings, but once again antutu tester says I'm using only 2.388Ghz. Is that still OK?

I believe that's with both cores. Not 2.38 GHz per core... If that was the case your phone should be on fire.

Sounds more like Antutu is treating the dual core 1.2ghz as a single core, not correct but probably better than not counting the 2nd core.

Lte toggle?

I can't find them anywhere for my nexus... I've found like two and they were both for thunderbolts.

Doesn't seem to work on stock rom, which is what I assume the OP is on since he says he doesn't want to change rom for just 1 feature. I could be completely wrong though.

It won't work on the stock firmware. It will work with any custom ROM though. Its due to signatures.

I was referring to aokp. Currently on arhd and waiting for aokp to seem finished. Right now stuff is being added a lot and I'd rather just stick close to stock for now. Not having the toggle isn't a huge issue.

Why can't I see pictures in xda premium app!?!

For a while now, ever since I left stock rom, i cant see any pictures people upload on here:/ lol like the screen shots devs post and stuff like that. Once in a while they load up but it's vary rare. Anybody else having this problem!? I'm desperate, i want to see pictures!!! Lol

Nothing, it actually helps more then it hurts. Dont know why its checked by default on AOKP.

Well as far as I know it uses the graphics engine rather than CPU (which is suppose to be) and the phone behave faster
and smoother

It's sort of a hold over option from GB, from what I understand. It was there to help performance for older apps, written before GPU acceleration was supported or something along those lines.

You nailed it. I'm not willing to sacrifice security, and stock JB gives me everything I need. XDA is a great resource to learn about Android and see what's coming, which is why I'm here.

What security are you worried about ? I find it really hard to get malware or brick the phone. And im one of those reckless kind who downloads first. Ask questions later. Ive never gotten virus or anything, bricked once when trying somthin new. But data still remsins. If security is a big issue. Just root and dont download anythng not frm xda. Youll b good

Some of us have reasons/requirements for not rooting. The decision isn't wrong either way; it's how you use your device.
