[Q] new sd card

hey im getting a new sd card for my incredible super lcd
i have a stock 2 gig
and i have miui 1.3.5 on there wat will happen if i switch my card out with the 16 gig card will i miss the phone up or will it just delete my recovery plez
Copy contents of 2 Gb SD to PC, then while device on, unmount SD, power down.
Format new SD as FAT32, and copy contents of old SD onto new SD, place in device, power on.
The SD interacts with many ROMs when they boot, so if your ROM uses elements of or calls SD to or during boot, and cannot find what was there, you'll have issues.
Recommend a periodic backup of SD to PC, monthly or so.

[Q] Moving micro SD from old phone to new

I'm moving my micro SD card from my old phone to my One V. Its partitioned for apps to SD. Do I need to repartition it with the new phone or just reformat? If so, how would I reformat?

[D855] SD Broken?!? [SOLVED]

Hi everyone!
I upgraded to CM 13, big problem was the fact that my Samsung Evo 64 GB SD card was not usable as internal storage or external. I entered recovery mode and wiped all to install Cloudy 2.5. I have an issue now, the sd card is not formatted in its own original filesystem, and after i tried to change it to exFat or ext4 it shows me a 15mb sd card, rather then a 64 GB one.
How do I fix this?
You can take your micro SD card, put it in the adapter and then plug it to your computer.
After that you can take a software like "minitool partition wizard" and use it to format the micro SD card.
I figured out the SD card problem , i couldn't fix it for nothing until i did this.
FOR ANYBODY THAT GETS STUCK AT 20% or any other sd card problem with 6.0 roms
1. Backup all files on SD card (This will delete everything on your sdcard)
2. Install minitool partition wizard
3. Remove all partitions from SD card with partition wizard (Do not reformat)
4. Place SD card into phone
5. Let the phone detect SD card and try to reformat
6. chose either Internal or Portable Storage
7. Enjoy because it works perfectly for me now.
btw. im running a LG G3 D850 ATT

Lenovo P2 Upgrade SD card from 32 to 64 GB

My existing SD card is running out of capacity, so im trying to insert a 64Gb card into the phone. When trying to clone the this card in my laptop, i keep getting the message to format the card. Which obviously i don't want to do. The card works fine in the phone so i don't suspect a faulty card. If i plug the phone into the laptop the card is visible, and i can copy the files, and transfer them to my 64Gb card but then this is not usable on the phone. What is the procedure for upgrading the SD card in the Lenovo P2.
My observations lead me to believe that the formatting of the P2 is not compatible with windows 10.
any help much appreciated.

John M
Copy the files from the previous SD card to your computer by using the USB cable to connect the phone. Then do the same to copy to the new card.
It sounds like your SD card is formatted as internal memory rather than portable.
When you put in your new SD it will ask how you want to use it. Choose portable and copy your files over.
