Hi everyone,
I want to make a request to someone to port the Samsung Keyboard to MIUI ROM (1.10.14).
For me the samsung keyboard is the best keyboard, and I have already tried to push all the files needed (libs, apk, etc) to run samsung keyboard, but in the "inputMethod" the keyboard doesn't appear...
It's possible?

I have missing samsung keypad option in select keypbaord input after flashed gingersnap 1.21 ROM. Just don't know that samsung keypad removed intentionally or I've missed something here. Let me know if anybody knows where to download the file and flash via CWM. Thanks

The developer just left it out of the ROM due to personal preference or to free up space. There is a great modded samsung keyboard in the themes&apps section
is there anyway to get the keyboard APK and port it to my friends Chinese tablet android phone? He really wants the S3 keyboard, tried installing Swype but didn't like it. And how would i sign it so it would work on his device?
No. Samsung apps wont work on roms which are not based on samsung. Try aosp keyboard. It must be flashable zip or you push the apk to the system

I downloaded the rom, flashed it, the only thing I see is the Galaxy W screen with "cyanogenmod" below, then it reboots automatically to CWM.
Any suggestion?

You should use this recovery [ancora][Galaxy W][CWM Advanced Edition] PhilZ Touch
And use wipe & format > clean to install a new rom
Then install the rom
Music stuttering
Thank you for this ROM, Iwas able to installed it w/o problem. However, I experience music stuttering when a message coming in or activating another app during music listening. Any way for rectifying this please?

every time i tryd to install i get fc on aosp keypad and the soft buttons doesnt work.
same fc on sambean but the soft buttons are working.
and is there a way to keep the launcher in memory ??
any suggestions for me ??

sound is open but phone not ringing when incoming calls. any suggestion? i can play music files only; doesnt ringing at incoming calls and sms receive.

ok well the rom looks nice but why when i instaled this rom the keyboard application stops and i cant write anything
Would you please upload this Rom in Rapidgator or other servers too?

I love your ROM so much :fingers-crossed:. but there is something that made me flash my phone into my stock rom. the annoyance. :crying:
you didn't fix this problem.
- custom wallpaper can not fit with screen (scrollable) it can't be Lockmode
i know this isn't a big problem. I can fix it by using launcher app. but it sucks my ram so much. and if i use it, the icons become low quality (if i use my stock rom. although i use launcher app, the icons is still in HD)
please fix it. I think it's just the one step to make your rom looks perfect.

I just installed OMNI ROM - 4.4.4. and I wanna use Samsung Keyboard, but I tried to install it always failed. I also tried to push apk into system/app but nothing's happen. could someone help me? thanks :angel:
Guess it needs the Samsung framework to work...
