So I used Odin v1.3 to push stock froyo 2.2 ec05 that works fine .. I rerooted using super oneclick still fine then I go into clockwork to flash aosp magic original v0.4.1 successfully intsalled I reboot and it hung on the Samsung logo so I rebooted same .... so I back into download used Odin again to try to go back to the stock used before ... but it fails .. so I unplug pull battery and now I'm at this screen
I've searched everywhere under the sun and found very little
Ive tried different firmwares trough Odin
I get it back into cwm flash a different firmware and it says it successfully installs but when I reboot ... still that screen comes up
I've formatted everything available in cwm reflashed and no go if anyone could please help I would greatly appreciate it
EDIT: I've tried to Odin back multiple times also with different firmwares still nothing

Also you could have went back to recovery

Not bricked unless it acts like there is no battery...in other words dead. Go here and try the first couple of posts...the second deals with Heimdall. All the things to try are in there like Odin with no battery, different cable, different port:

I have gone back to recovery multiple times and reflashed .. still nothing

Are you powering down and 3 fingering into recovery? I guess you have to at this point. You can't restore a nand backup from recovery? Odin with the thread I posted for you or Heimdall works better.
Alright ill try heimdall and let you know what's what

Should work for you. You will need to grab 7Zip to seperate a tar into the different components for Heimdall.
I would like to thank you guys for all the ideas given seems like the fix was to use a different USB port and I feel like a knumb skull for not thinking of that but I guess I just assumed because the phone was showing in Odin the USB port was not the issue .. and that was not the case .. thanks again!!

My friend recently bricked her phone by installing the wrong kernel. Is there anyway I might be able to help her fix this? I put the phone into download mode and tried to connect to odin but it doesnt seem to find the phone. Are there any other ways to fix this? Any info would be highly appreciated.
DL the drivers reboot and try again. Try a different cable. If you can into DL mode its gonna be ok
I agree try downloading the drivers and flash a stock kernel. DL mode usually means no brick.
Edit: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1274337 Go here for the drivers needed for odin to work.

Uninstall and reinstall kies. You can flash the stock Tom via Odin and then re root

Does your friends sbl show the phone to be an I9100?
Shoot me a pm if you have any questions. Long story short is an I9100 sbl disables the SPH-D710 USB controller.

So I kept getting the "Charging Paused. Voltage too high" error pop up, my USB port wont connect to Odin via PC. So I used Mobile Odin to flash stock EL29 .tar, that sent it in to a bootloop. So know I'm stuck with stock recovery and can't boot into a working ROM. I need a stock unrooted update.zip?
I don't think one exists but I could be wrong.
do you have kies installed? did you try a factory reset in stock recovery?
Yeah I tried all of that. Since I can't connect over USB, I used Mobile Odin to flash a stock .tar. Something went wrong, I can tell it half flashed because it loops at the Sprint boot screen. All I can do is get in to stock Android Recovery and Download mode, which is useless since I can't connect to Odin.
Go into stock recovery and factory reset and reboot

Thank you for your advice, but no dice. Think it was a bad flash to start.
Have you tried just a recovery, and not the whole rom? Is it your phone or comp throwing the flag?
Sent from my SPH-D710 using XDA
If none of that works just bring it into a store and tell them that its stuck in a bootloop. They will try to see what they can do and if they cant fix it they will order an AE. Free if you have TEP, $35 if you dont.

Most likely a bad download. Check the md5 sum to see if its a match.

What did you flash? ROM, mod, kernel? Long stories made short give little to no information. The more info you give the better we can help you.

Long story short, you can use Odin 3.07 or 3.09 to flash to MK4 stock here: http://www.mediafire.com/download/7viivd985s7cp8l/L900VPUBMK4_L900SPTBMK4_HOME.tar.zip
Wipe data/cache in recovery after its finished or you might be stuck on the Samsung logo again.

Thanks, this will actually help me a ton, I was looking for a Odin file to flash factory or other.
