[Q] bullet kernel or faux kernel - T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S II SGH-T989

Running Juggernaut 4.1.
Which one saves more battery? Bullet kernel or faux kernel

From personal experience, flashing the newest version of the synergy has increased my battery life to levels greater than both the bullet kernel and the faux kernel. Additionally, if you want the best battery life, go with Bombaridier v3.0 - truly amazing battery.

I agree. I get amazing battery with synergy. Faux's kernel is really good, but one of his, the ultimate one overclocks the gpu. That causes faster battery drain.

[Q] What ROM and kernel combo best for battery life?

So just rooted my Dinc and trying out some roms. The most important thing for me is battery life and then stability. I wanted to know some if your ROM/kernel combos that have given the longest battery life. Thanks.
Each phone n processor are different in stability so basically youre better off finding out for yourself...personally been using redemptive rom with ziggys kernel and love it.

I've had my best life with Virtuous (been with it since early 2.0) and I've used King's BFS kernels. Now I'm running Ziggy's BFS and lasting even longer.
And to what the guy above me said, each phone is different in the sense that only some can overclock to 1.19 while others can't (I for example can't). Other than that, each phone is pretty much the same.
It seems like the stock Cyanogen ROM and kernel has better battery life than Virtuous with King's BFS #5. I just don't see how King's BFS #5 is that good.
I'm going to try the stock Virtuous kernel later in a somewhat controlled environment to see if there's a major battery difference.

Which kernel is better for battery life?

I am currently on CM7 and am wondering what is the best kernel for battery life. I am torn between ziggy 3.18 and 4.10, but I am open to suggestions.
I always have used Ziggy's kernels on Froyo Sense roms. But as for CM7, I prefer Chad's Incredikernel or Invisiblek's kernels. They are both good on battery life and performance!
Yeah, I went to incredikernel. I was on 4/10 ziggy and my phone ate it like 3 times in 5 min. It kept rebooting.

Franco vs Trinity

Hi.. Maybe inapropriate topic but :
According to your experience, which one is better kernel in global ?
For battery and global ?
I hope that kernel devs of both kernels are not insulted with this topic.
Thanks in advacne
In MY experience Franco gave me the most battery life and stability. My phone loves Franco(CDMA). Ones not better then the other. Just depends which one your phone loves better.
Actually i love both kernels and changing them time after time. While Franco kernel feels a bit snappier, Trinity gives me better battery life and seems to be a bit more stable.
IMO both kernels are great but I prefer faux123's kernel.
I prefer trinity over any other kernel out there.
best performance and battery life for me
btw I'm using the one with 1382 cpu, 512 gpu for cm9 kang(any kernel).

Faux Kernel, do you use it? Why?

Just want to know why some of you use Faux kernel. It seems to be the most mentioned one , at least from what i've read so far.
On the latest base roms, is it more battery as well as performance efficient in your opinion? Any other reasons you use it?
I've only had faux kernel on my HoX for not even a day so far so it's hard for me to be the judge and i'm interested. Thanks
With Faux's kernel you'll have better performances than stock kernel, but stock has better stability and battery life.
It's because faux's kernel has the latest nVidia drivers for Tegra 3, as well as a GPU overclock for better gaming performance I've been using faux lately, and still testing battery usage on normal daily usage.

NCX vs. franco vs. faux - WHICH ONE IS BETTER.

I'm currently on ncx 0.83 and rd-miui 2.8.10 CM9 rom right now. and i'm getting about 3.5 hours of screen time.
I hear somewhere that the battery life improves after each battery cycle after kernel flash??
I haven't tried much faux or franco much. Anybody wanna share your experiences?
