Hey guys,
I picked up a Galaxy Nexus from Rogers(Canada) this weekend and I can't seem to send/receive picture messages. Has anyone been able to do this? I've tried an MMS apn I found online but it didn't help.
Thanks,
Sam
Ics have a problem with mms.
If you want send mms you delete apn type from mms apn.
When you send mms you have to select mms apn, send mms and select again internet apn.

Does Anyone know the settings for Verizon's MMS Server?
I wanted to send video thru MMS so I installed the MMS CAB on Ehud's site. The problem was, I need to enter my provider's MMS server settings:
Gateway:
Server IP:
Port:
I called Verizon, after 1.5 hours on the phone, 15 people, 4 so called "experts", no one could tell me the settings.
No Problem...I just did a hard reset to get back to my original MMS software and record the settings....no joy...for some reason, on the MMS Settings->Servers tab, I can't get the information....
Does Anyone know the settings for Verizon's MMS Server?
Thanks,

bump need to know this as well
My Nexus on AT&T has the wap.cingular APN that was picked up from the SIM card. My data plan is provisioned for 4G smartphones so I added the "phone" APN and am using it for internet.
My question is whenever I send or receive an MMS message, the data connection drops on the phone which I am assuming is because the phone switches to the wap.cingular APN for MMS. As soon as the message has been received, the data connection comes back.
Can I combine the MMS settings like the proxy and such into the "phone" APN so my data connection stays alive during MMS transmissions?
Thanks!
So my answer is yes. You can combine everything - found it just after I posted. Wish you could delete your own threads!

I have anoying problem with mms. Every time I have to manually change from gprs to mms under access point if I want to send mms. I am using 4.3 custom atm. Any suggestion is welcome
Anyone got this to work correctly? AFAICT, only thing I'm able to send is text messages- pictures just won't send or receive. I tried switching to manual APN settings but it looks like only 3 properties are exposed:
MMSC
MMS Proxy
MMS Proxy Port
... it's like where are the rest??? (MCC, MCN, Authentication Type, APN Type)
PS: I have an email out to the Textra developer(s), hopefully they can advise on this. In the meantime, if there's something I'm missing please feel free to point it out

So I gave up on Textra... installed Hello SMS then that wasn't working out. Went back to Textra and voila ... for some reason, now MMS messaging is working as expected. Whodathunkit?
that's really odd, i've had no issues with mms on ATT.
i use evolve, stock, hangouts, hello and qk sms.
did you check the main apn settings to see if something isn't borked there?
Like the title says, I cannot send mms messages. I recieve group messages and pics but when ever I try to send an mms it fails. It has worked perfectly up until today. Any advice?
Edit: Fixed
Try updating prl and profile. Are you using stock messaging?
I went into data menu ##3282# went into MMSC changed MMSC URL to http://mms.plspictures.com and now i can send mms from a themed mms app made for tmobile variant. Don't know why but that worked for me.
