'nyandroid does the jig'
-rename the droidjig.zip to bootanimation.zip, place in /system/media. tested on galaxy nexus.
-the other zip, nyanjig-gimp.zip contains the chaos that is GIMP XCF files for starting on your own jigs Please feel free to submit your own jigs to thread
-i plan on eventually reworking for a smaller file and cleaner dance lol

Perfect!

Good
Nice & cute bootanimation
Could you make another BIG nyandroid version?
It's perfect enough, but too tiny

any chance at a flashable zip? lol

Fyi new boot animations

I know some people may not look at this other thread (Andriod Development and Hacking) so I thought I would post a little preview up here for the DesireZ/G2 users, I have no part in developing any of the following boot animations, I'm just another satisfied users sharing something I found and like.
All the credit for the following work goes to Dysgenic.
I can confirm the animations work great on our DesireZ/G2, just use the 480 x 800 zip files and follow the threads instructions on applying them to our phones, I used the ADB method in the OP post. Here is the LINK to the thread if you want to apply these sick boot animations.
Heres a preview of his boot animations:

Just flashable. I can't really MetaMorph stuff. I want to learn so all my themes can be universal. Is there any tutorials on how to make a MetaMorph?
Will this work if we've applied any of the soft-button mods (add search button)?
Thx.
Thanks man, literally exactly what I wanted to be able to do when I first saw that feature in ICS.
Oh, that is too cool.

I just looked at it. It's very low resolution (270x480). Would look like crap when scaled up to 720p (720x1280). Also, your zip was in the form of a clockworkmod script, which won't work across all devices (and roms) due to the way samsung changed the bootanimation stuff.
But, FWIW, I "ported" just the bootanimation.zip to 720x1280, and fixed the infinite bootloop bug for the S3 by restricting the last part to 8 loops (~4 seconds):
sega_sonic_720x1280_bootanimation.zip
I converted the mp3 to ogg and put it in /system/media/audio/ui/PowerOn.ogg which is the name samsung's /system/bin/samsungpowersoundplay looks for, but, it plays AFTER the bootanimation finishes, so that's pointless. Here's the file anyway:
sega_sonic_PowerOn.ogg
Worked fine here, but it's not my thing.

Haha! So do I.
I like to think this animation makes that boot time a little more tolerable.
On several occasions I've suddenly realized I'd been staring at it for the last 60 seconds.
Can you help me on this please. Click Here to view the post - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1364044&page=70

Guys, I made a small video using Photoshop to create a bootanimation.
I created the bootanimation.zip too and it also worked, but was very laggy. I'm not an expert on creating the bootanimation sequency and the desc file.
I have uploaded the video on YouTube, and I request someone to create a bootanimation.zip for this video which doesn't look laggy. And yes, please keep it on loop.
Thank you.
