As you all no by now XDA will be shutdown tomorrow in support of anti SOPA I will be setting up a temporary forum for use to use while XDA is off line once XDA comes back online the temp forum will be deleted 24 hours after XDA comes back online. I give the 24 hour window so that if any important information needs to be copied on to an XDA thread you have the time to do so .
The URL will be
www.juniorwebdevs.co.uk/temp/
Thanks and lets hope to God Xda can reach the 50,000 people to sign the petition in order to kill SOPA and what it stands for.
The temp for will go live once XDA closes its doors to users so bookmark that link until the time comes to use it.
Thanks
Eoghan
P.s. let's kill SOPA

You don't have to, just sign up for an amazon accct through the app. And piracy is not allowed on xda

yeah because you have to set up an Amazon account, but you don't ever use it. It'll be the same exact account that you would use on the actual website. There is nothing wrong with adding it especially if you are getting awesome games like this for free. It is just as safe and secure as the google android market. It'll only be charged if you buy an app that costs money...haha.

sweet... i can finally play this game outside of wow..
Just saw that the Tapatalk app has the ability to "thank" forum users now.
Are you (XDA) also planing to update the XDA app with this feature?
Sent from my HTC Desire HD using XDA Premium App
Yes it would be very helpful for thanking all our devs out there (though I go into browser anyway to do that)
Sent from my Incredible Sensation using XDA App
Yup, but it would be great if we had a thank button on the pop-up when we tap a post. If i tap your post now, i get Quote, Share, Reply and More. It's enough space left for Thank

How do we thank using the app? I wasn't aware that we could.
Sent from my DROID X2 using XDA Premium App
Guys, there is a sticky in this very forum for requesting features on the XDA app. Please use that next time instead of opening a new thread.
The Thanks feature in the app is being tested right now and should be updated at some point this month. As always, just be patient.

Where do i get the free apps which are paid in market? For instance i had a blackberry and i could download all the apps through a cydia tweak named installous, is there any such place on an android where i can download free apps from?

You won't find your answer here on xda as it is not allowed. Purchasing dev apps is the way we support the countless hours they invest in deving.

Hello all, i know im new at here, and as an android user, i saw two kinds of xda app in the play store, the standard one and the premium one. Then, i found in google theres soo many cracked xda premium app. I knew the xda-community will buy it from play store, but some people choose to download the cracked one. Then, why dont you make the in app purchase for the premium one (or license key) right? And for the premium users can upgrade their xda app cheaply.
If you agree with this suggestion please hit the thanks button!
Thanks for understanding!

I am a fan of xda and I'm a fan of blinkfeed. Is there any way to incorporate xda developers into blinkfeed? I think that would be awesome!

Open blink feed, swipe the screen right once in blink feed, click search, type in XDA and add the custom topic. There is no official xda feed but you can add a custom one instead. Works quite well.
Awesome!
EDIT- I followed your instructions but the only thing that shows up are twitter feeds that have xda in the name. I don't use twitter. so I guess maybe this is now just a hope that someone at xda developers could make an official feed for blinkfeed. I sure would read the heck out of it.
Edit edit --- created a twitter account and now I get the feed. Back to awesome again!
