It is like this, i have been repepetively deleting application like uefa and xperia hot shot. But why is it that it is coming back again on my phone like installed resurected or what. I mean. This is becoming a problem to me because i am limiting my space as much as possible.
Do you guys have any idea how to get rid of these apps.

I believe if you go into /system/etc/product/applications/ and then delete the .apk's in there, they'll stop reinstalling by themselves

Hi everyone,
Got a bit confused now. I've installed some apps from the market and when I go to "My apps" I see a list of installed apps.
The problem is, their status is set as their price tag, like 'free', but not as 'installed' as it should be.
Those apps are still on my phone and they do run, but in this case I don't know if there's an update are not.
Is there a way to fix this, please?
I hope someone has a clue.

Have you tried to restart your phone?
Yellow guys. I have a problem with timescape. I uninstalled it a while back but I've made a backup.
Now I installed it back and everything is working good exept the fact that I can't add new extensions to it. I install them but they don't show up in the app.
Any help is welcome!
Thx!

I seem to remember an extentions manager application as well. Could be wrong, it's been a while since I've uninstalled them and didn't bother to back them up.
This manager app could be what controls them.
I have 3 backups in total.
TimescapeRssPlugin_1.4.2.apk
TimescapeSpline_1.0.22.apk
TimescapeWidget_1.0.16.apk
I installed them all. Dunno if one of them is the extension manager tho...

I found this post: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=759161
I mentions:
"Hello,
You must also remove :
uWlopProvider.apk
SnsContactImageCacheProvider.apk
TimescapePluginManager.apk
TimescapeProvider.apk
to completely uninstall Timescape."
So one of those may be missing.
You can try reinstalling timescape completely. Unfortunately....reinstalling timescape isn't easy, Big Sony isn't forgiving, once you've shunned them, getting back to them is a long and difficult journey, and once you've made it back, they never let you go again!
In short, I don't know how to reinstall it.
Lesson: Don't uninstall system apps, use Titanium Backup to FREEZE them.
Lesson learn It's not like I'd die without timescape anyway

Have you tried contacting Sony and groveling? I hear they love that.
"MMMMMasster....ugh, a terrible thing has happend.....I..i...I uninstalled T..t...t..Timescape...."
"WWWWWWWWWHHHHHHHHHHAAAAATTTTTTTTT?!?!?!?!?.......Google it *****ES!!!"
Does anyone get random app notifications that seem like spam. Apps like "badoo" and other crap.
Also, I get random pictures in my gallery that are apparently downloaded into my phone without me knowing. I delete them, but every few days I notice 1 or a few have shown up again.
I'm trying to add screenshots, but I keep getting errors. Ill edit on computer.
edit: Here are the screenshots.

I get those notifications every once in a while. I believe they come from certain apps like yahoo messenger used to do that. Same thing with the pictures there like cached images for apps or ads. Try using an add blocking host file if your not already it helps a lot.

I've always used yahoo messenger and have never got those. I would double check any obscure apps you have added to your phone. Some probably have bad intentions.
I can't really see any of my apps being questionable. Of course I wouldn't really know for sure I guess. I was just hoping somebody would be able to pinpoint the problem, but it probably is something that happens quite often and is hard to pinpoint.
It is definitely caused by an app you installed. Your best bet would be to get your apps sorted by date of install and start deleting your most recent apps until this goes away.
When this happened to me, it was from some live wallpaper I had installed.
Ya I guess that makes perfect sense. I just wondered how many other people have seen it. I plan to clear everything and do a hard reset anyway. Starting from scratch cause I'm tired of ridiculous lag.
Allstar...
look for an app that removes " airpush " notifcations
AirPush Detector - Dan Bjorge
Addons Detector - Denper
Lookout Ad Network Detector - lookout labs
I get them, I think they are Go Locker ics theme.
I had that go locker ics theme...and I never had an ad like that...but meh...I got rid of all the go software save for go launcher...though I think I might be going back to the launcher pro that I had on my garminefone

Big thanks!! It showed me the one app that was causing the spam. Mp3 Music Download was the culprit. I haven't used it in awhile so I deleted it. Thanks for the tip.

Seeing as you're new here, i though i'd be nice to you this first time.
Please, no swearing.
The people who posted in the thread are making fun of you because of the absolutely unneeded swearing and nonsense.
To fix your problem you're going to have to tell us some more about your phone and what you've done.
Is it rooted? If so, what rom and kernel are you running?
Did you try to simply reboot the phone? (Also a good idea to cold boot it, meaning to shut it off, remove the battery, put it back in and boot up).
It's doesn't help what so ever to force close apps that are not misbehaving. The Android system manages this perfectly fine. Only force close an app if there is something wrong with it.
What apps have you installed? Some of them might be taking up alot of RAM and running in the background.
I was nice to you, now please do the same to us.
You came to us asking a question like that, you should be gracious that we're even replying.

Sure.
My Samsung Galaxy note 2 is not rooted.
I restart my phone couple of times if the number exceeded.
I have 39 apps downloaded from Google Play.
I was angry because it annoys crap out of me so pardon me.

Okay.
If your phone is running slowly and you're not rooted, then it is 99% sure an app problem.
It could be a hardware flaw in your phone, but my guess is app related (If your phone was as slow as it is now, when you got it, it is probably hardware related).
Try uninstalling any unneeded apps, like various tools you downloaded once to try it out, games you dont really play, etc etc.
Try to clear your cache. There are several apps out there that can do it (Some require root, and can clear more caches than non-root ones can, just try a non-root cache cleaner).
After doing that, do a cold boot as i refered to in my last post and see if it is better.
If not, try and go into Settings, Applications, Running Applications and see if there are any major apps that you installed yourself (not the ones that came with the phone) running and try to uninstall the ones taking up the most power, then do a cold boot again and see if it improved.
If nothing works, try and post a list of the apps you have installed on your phone that you installed yourself.

I don't think its hardware related. When I got first my Note 2 it was suprisingly fast. So it's probably the apps.
I've cleared all my caches, deleted a lot of unneeded apps and also done the cold boot after that I navigated to Settings>Applications manager> running apps.
I noticed samsung's keyboard took 55mb of ram, google service 20mb. maps 32mb. play store 10mb. settings 39mb 0_0. Those apps that came with the phone took a lot of ram. why is that? is there anyway to decrease the number?
You can use Titanium Backup to freeze or unintstall any apps that aren't needed by the OS. This will prevent them from ever starting up again.
Is the used up ram actually causing you problems? As I understand it android will make use of the ram to help switch apps quicker. So if its high its not a problem.

there are apps out there that tells you which apps uses the most cpu cycles. i can't recommend one as i don't use them, but might help you pinpoint your problem-app.

So you want more Ram han? Here is a very simple trick
Go to developer option
Select limit background processes and then select 4 processes...
You will see ram will fall below 1 gb

[Q] Something is installing " the hobbit" & "kingdom of camelot" apps?
I'm seeing two apps that have been installed THE HOBBIT and KINGDOM of CAMELOT. I did not install them. Any idea what's installing them without my permission? And I'm not saying these are REAL apps. that's just what they are titled. Once I clicked on one and it tried to open a browser window.
Also, I noticed an app called COOL APPS that goes to a browser window: www.iconadverse.com/redirect
I'd like to find what is installing this ****.
Thanks
Maxi
Have you downloaded a free app from the Play Store lately?
A lot of apps do this to make money. Usually it installs some kind of search app.
Uninstall some recently installed apps and see if they go away.
Are you rooted? If not, its not possible for an app to install other apps in the background without user confirmation, or so I've picked up on from my reading.

Sort your apps by installation date, and post the last dozen here.
I don't know if it's worth installing an anti-malware app at this point, but you can try Addons Detector. That might be able to find the offending app.
And odds are that what you see as apps for the Hobbit and whatever are only shortcuts placed on your homescreen by a bad developer. Either way, I'd be concerned and upset. I hope you will find the cause of this and go back to the Play Store to comment/rate as needed (unless you sideloaded it..)
Both are being advertised on Facebook this week sounds like you clicked on it from there.
