[Q]Google Calender updating loop

Hi,
I've updated my Nexus from Android 4.0.4 to 4.1.2. The old version of Google Calendar works wells. The system notifies me that is available an update for Google Calender from Play store. When I tried to download it, it's seems that the update is looping: after the start, it doesn't show to me any information about percentage of already downloaded updated. I leave it on 3g and Wifi network, but still after 30 minutes the process of updating Google Calendar is still pending. I check if it's available the zip or apk file here on Xda, but there I found only the version for US.
I live in Italy. I unlocked bootloader and rooted my Galaxy Nexus. With alert on update of Google Calendar I had others update of Google Apps like G+ and Maps, but with that apps i didn't have any problem.
I got the same problem with Whatsapp: when I try to reinstall it the update phase seems blocked in a loop. I solved this problem downloading the apk from official site.
Someone can help me?

I find the way to solve it: I disable the application, wait for 1 day, than enable and download it from Web PlayStore.

[Q] Apps updating problem on Google Play

First, forgive my bad English.
I cannot update apps on google play store. If I press "update", then it only says "Downloading ...", which has no end... No installing or updating.
I've cleared all Google Play and Download manager cache, and restart. But still no luck.
I need help.

I'm facing same problem today and I'm on 4.2
Looks like a problem with new play store version or something wrong with server end.

About updating an app

If I install an app not downloaded from google play, how can i update it from google play? I have a app downloaded from internet ver 1.0, on google play is ver 1.1, but i don't see update button, just only uninstall and open button... Anyone helps me?

You can't. This is to prevent users who didn't buy or install the app from the Play Store from updating. If you want to update the app, you have to get it from the Play Store.

help! google now need play service update

My google now cant work, because google play service need update. Look in the screen shot.
But google play service has been updated to the last version (update on google play store). And still not working.
Anyone can help me?

are u using pagapps?? if yes then u have to download this and flash via recovery!!

Redmi k30i cn android 11 play service issue.

I am using k30i chinese rom handset. Recently i have updated android 10 to android 11. After updating i cant use google play, play service, youtube, gmail etc(all of the google service). In get app there was a google installer to install every google app, now there isnt. Ive manually installed it and it says purchese error when i try to download play apps. I have manually installed play service, play service framework, account manager and play store. Play store did loged in me but after that everything turned same. What should i do to get play service?? Please help.

I have the same problem. What i did was i manually installed the apk version of all the google app. I installed older version of google play services as I can't install the latest one. Everything work just fine after that

Can you please the version of play services? And if possible please tell me the version of play store, play servises framework. Please please please. And did you upgraded to android 11?

Hello friends,
Try flashing MIUI EU ROM. This will help your phone about Google Play stuff better than installing .apk app manually. Google Play stuff work best in system. Flashing .apk will still cause some glitches and errors.

check this youtube video, you can find some links in the description, download those apps to your phone and install them. THE MOST IMPORTANT is to stop Google play services to auto-update itself, and for that you must block Google Play services to access internet. You must go to Settings/Apps/Manage Apps/ then click on Google Play services, then scroll down and you'll see "Restrict data usage", then uncheck "WLAN" and "Mobile data". I also block Google Play store from accessing the internet, sometimes I will allow it to access Internet to update all apps on my phone, then when it's completed, I turn off WLAN and mobile data for the plays store again. This is a temporary solution until someone comes up with a functioning Google installer...Or install a rom such as xiaomi.eu

Delete all of those previous google files & app and instrall new one. Hope it will work
