Hi All,
after i have installed font installer (from rom toolbar), after installation it asked me for reboot the device. from then onward it just show htc logo that's it. day before yesterday only i have unlocked the bootloader provided by htc.
I have htc wildfire.
even i use recovery option (pressing volume - and power on) image of cell shows with some symbol.
i dont have a recovery.img file in my sd card. after saving custom rec.img file in sd card can solve the issue (with the use of recovery option in hboot).
Please help me out.

Hi,I'm no pro so I'll try and help.
I think you need to install a cwm recovery.if you can find a way to place files onto your sdcard then find a pc49img version of cwm and place this on sdcard then using your phone with sdcard inserted you press power on and vol down then let your system find pc49img and install. Goto to wildfire, development, sticky, and search in 3xenos thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1029318 to find cwm and everything else you need.
Hope this helps,if not then someone else will be more helpful and explain better procedures.

I don't think the PC49IMG method is working after unlocking with the HTC tool, flashing a recovery with fastboot seems to work though.

Use Fastboot
- Download this attachment and extract it to any folder (eg: C:\fastboot)
http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=630611&d=1308537074
- Download CWM IMG Image for Wildfire (Buzz) from here:
http://download.clockworkmod.com/recoveries/recovery-clockwork-5.0.2.0-buzz.img
- Place that IMG file along with the 4 files from the attachment in the same folder you created
- Now, turn off your Wildfire, connect to PC, and turn on in HBoot
- Navigate to Fastboot and Select it
- Open a Command Prompt Window (Start > Run > cmd)
- Type the following one by one and press Enter (It is assumed you created the folder in C Drive and have named it fastboot)
- cd\
- cd fastboot
- fastboot flash recovery recovery-clockwork-5.0.2.0-buzz.img
- This should produce 2 lines of code - SENDING RECOVERY and WRITING RECOVERY. If both states OK at the end, you should have CWM installed successfully after this.

Cheers scratch.
1 thing though, fastboot for a noob might be complicated, lol damn I'm no way experienced but I wouldn't consider myself a noob either and I still can't get my head round fastboot/adb.
I know for certain that using terminal method works but can't remember the process or command.!!!
Eeeeek lol I think I'm a semi noob.

U just download "PC49IMG" and save the file just in sdcard (not in anyfolder)... and then now restart it by pressing power + vol down, while sd checking it asks for the recovery installation, just give YES, then now delete that PC49IMG file in the sdcard (by putting it in card reader or something else..) and again restart it by power + vol down, now u go to recovery, now u will have further options. u can proceed now to flash rom or something......
Enjoy..........

Now that's just a stupid thing to say to someone who clearly doesn't understand fully what they're doing! From your comment what's to stop this Guy Googling a PC49IMG.zip and getting something completely different to what he actually needs??
Then he'll be even more confused.
If you know of a PC49IMG.zip that will work after unlocking the bootloader the HTC way then please share it with us.

anyway to go back to stock froyo ?
find the recovery image you want then follow this exactly. this is how i did it.
I. Flash a New Recovery Image
1. Find the recovery image you want and MAKE SURE IT IS FOR YOUR PHONE (should say in where you download it what phone it is for).
2. Write down the filename of the recovery image EXACTLY as it is written EG (recovery-clockwork-5.0.2.7.111102-j_r0dd_mod-buzz.img).
3. Put the recovery image file on the SD card (not in any folders).
4. Download Terminal from the Market if you don’t already have it and install it (there are a few different terminals in the Market some have an onscreen keyboard and some don’t experiment till you get one, also hold down Menu in some of them to bring up the onscreen keyboard if you don’t see it).
5. Open the Terminal program and type the following (with hitting enter at the end of each line):
su
flash_image recovery /sdcard/name-of-recovery.img
6. In the above text, replace name-of-recovery.img with the name of your recovery image (make sure the .img is on the end).EG recovery-clockwork-5.0.2.7.111102-j_r0dd_mod-buzz.img
7. Phone should pause for a second and then show you a new blank line. Turn it off and back on by holding down Home and Power to ensure it flashed correctly. Done.
Thanks for the detailed information but i can't follow those instructions as my phone can't boot.
i somehow managed to flash recovery but it is taking a while to backup current ROM.
How much time does it take to backup a ROM ?
Is it necessary to backup OR can i directly flash CM7 ?
Your current rom doesn't work so don't backup, just flash a new one.

Hi guys, i am a newbie here.
Last night i was trying to root my desire using unrevoked. I followed the guide from XDA step by step and everything seemed fine until word "done" appear in unrevoked.
After that, desire supposed to enter recovery mode and clockworkdmod but there was nothing appear in the screen. My desire suddenly shut down.
Can you tell me what am i suppose to do then because i want to put custom rom in my desire and now there's nothing i can do because it can't enter recovery mode (it only able to enter bootloader or Android OS itself).
Thanks

when you are in boot loader, use the volume down key and goto recovery and git power button. you should then be taken to clockwork recovery. this is where you can select your rom from SD card and flash
I've tried to do that and now it stuck in HTC Logo. Doest it mean i've to try unrevoked again or simply unroot it?
try rebooting by taking battery off. i'm not an expert but you might have to do it manually using the guide http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=696189
did you install the unrevoked drivers?
Okay i will try. Btw, in case i want to unroot, can you tell me where i can get "RUU_Bravo_hTC_Asia_WWE_1.19.707.7_Radio_32.36.00.2 8U_4.06.00.02_2_release_126179" ? The link from XDA seems down and i can download any.
Me and another member have encountered the same issue, seems there's some bug in HBOOT or something.
Boot into Android, go to Settings > Privacy > Factory data reset. Once you confirm it, it will reboot your phone into Recovery.
BUT, unless you re-format (partition) your SD Card, you won't be able to get back in again (unless you do the Factory data reset again).
This seems to happen randomly. Right now I can get into Recovery just fine. But once the bug occurs, the only way to get it to stop is to format your SD card.
Now i am thinking to unroot it than trying to do the whole rooting step all over again. Can you tell me where i can get the RUU for HTC Desire Asia

Okay, i've done unrooting with HTC Desire RUU Asi and what happen now my SLCD is brick. I am really hopeless right now because guide for "SLCD Brick" doesn't even work in my phone because once again my htc can't enter recovery mode ><
"I am trying to use the guide from sprinker right now. Hopefully it will work"
when you are in hboot the volume down/up button work?
Hi all,
I also have the problem that I can no longer enter the recovery mode on my desire.
Basically, whenever I am in the bootloader menu (either by pressing vol-down+power, return+power, or via ROMManager) and then select "recovery" I get right back to the "fastboot" screen.
I tried uninstalling/installing/upgrading ROMManager and also tried flashing clockwork via the newest version of Unrevoked (downloaded yesterday).
Nothing helps :-(
What I didn't try, yet, is reformatting my SDCard or resetting my device via "Settings > Privacy > Factory data reset". (I don't want to install all my apps >again<; I'm also a bit afraid that I break something an then cannot even reflash using recovery).
Here is some more info about my device:
- Flashed rom: Leedroid 2.1a
- HBOOT 0.83.0001
- RADIO 5.10.05.23
I would be really greatful if anyone had a solution for this problem.
P.s.: in case I HAVE to reset/format: can I somehow make a backup of all my apps&settings?
Hi all, I have the same problem now.
Everything works, after s-off, except I can no longer enter Recovery - any solution?
I didn't find an easy solution. I had to do the following (some steps might be optional but I wanted to be sure):
- Formated SD card (ext3 and fat partition)
- Complete reset via RUU (RUU_Bravo_HTC_WWE_1.21.405.2_T2_Radio_32.41.00.32U_4.08.00.09_release_137222_signed.exe)
- Using unrevoked to reinstall recovery rom
- Reinstalled my custom rom (Leedroid)
Now everything works.
BTW: via TitaniumBackup I could backup all my apps and data quite easily. Didn't expect it to work that well
thanks- what about s-off - is it working now for you?
"s-off" = ?
I Have a similar problem... I can't enter recovery. When i press "recovery mode", I just get a black screen with a phone and a "!" in it.
Have to pull battery to reboot desire.
I have formatted sd.
Quite annoying, cause I need to wipe my battery stats, and I don't know any other way to do it, than going to recovery.
I tried to update ROM to Cyanogenrom which was unsuccessful - just get boot loop.
I also get the same 'red triangle with exclamation mark on phone' icon when trying to go to recovery mode.
So now I have a Desire which boot loops and cant enter recovery mode ...
anyone know how to get out of this one?
This might work for you
WAIT, BEFORE YOU START, CREATE A GOLDCARD. IT IS VERY NECESSARY. THINGS WILL GO WRONG IF YOU DONT.
YOU MUST BE ABLE TO BOOT GO TO THE BOOTLOADER MENU.
Firstly, download this file. http://dl.dropbox.com/u/13240777/Desire Downgrade.ZIP
Extract the files.
Run the win-down.bat file.
Follow on screen instructions.
After the process is completed, Head to the root of your SD card and check if there is a file named P99***IMG (FORGOT THE EXACT NAME BUT IT SHOULD BE SOMETHING LIKE THIS) there should be one.
Secondly, disconnect your phone and turn it off.
After that boot up your phone while pressing the volume down button and the power button.
The bootloader should be checking for files after awhile and once it found the file that is supposed to be in the root of your sd card, press the volume up button (NOT EXACTLY SURE, SHOULD BE THE ONE THAT SAYS YES AND CONTINUE)
It should be writing files to your phone. and replaces everything. E.G: HBOOT, RECOVERY,RADIO and such.
It should be writing files successfully and then it would ask you to reboot. Continue with the reboot and you should be having your Desire back to stock. Perfect.
PLEASE KEEP IN MIND THAT THERE ARE RISKS INVOLVED LIKE FAILURE OF WRITING TO THE HBOOT. PLEASE REMEMBER TO FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS. MAINLY, DO NOT BLAME ME FOR ANYTHING THAT GOES WRONG.
FINALLY, YOU SHOULD BE READING EVERYTHING UP TO HERE AND THAT YOU MUST HAVE A GOLDCARD (A GOLD SD CARD)
Hope this helps you and please ask if you have further questions. PM me if the questions cannot be answered here. Good Luck
This should bring back your phone to stock. Root your phone again after it is done
i have the same issue. but i got stuck when trying to partition my sd card. Now i can't enter Android itself only the bootloader. But i also lost my clockwork recovery...
it keeps looping the HTC Quitly brilliant bootscreen... Forever!
i am now formatting my sd card with my pc. will i then be able to go into recovery again using a zip file from clockwork i found? using this:
fake-flash
Fake-flash is only possible with root access, you need to be rooted to use it. Basically, its a way to have recovery running on the phone without using a PC (making it safer as you are less likely to brick using no USB cable to push files, instead, you push directly from your phone). You can use "ROM Manager" from the marketplace to do this. Simply place the downloaded test recovery image on the phone and the downloaded rom zip (renamed to update.zip) and flash using ROM Manager.
Preperation
Download the fake-flash update zip from one of the links below
Copy the update.zip to the root of your SD card (the name MUST remain as update.zip)
When you want to launch the recovery image
Turn on your device with 'volume down' pressed and select 'Recovery'
When the exclamation mark appears, press and hold 'volume up' then press 'power'
Select the second option, 'Apply sdcard:update.zip
That's it, ClockworkMod recovery should launch!

i'm having the exact same problem. i've tried fake flash and it does nothing for me, so does flashing the clockwork recovery image. the only one i haven't used yet is the downgrade...hope that will help
My son attempted to root his htc evo to no avail, now it only cycles from the start up to the start up screen. Should I consider the phone dead or is there still hope? Please pm me!

+1 to this
Snapping a pic with a camera and then uploading it so we can take a look would be the BEST thing to do. Because we'll need a few bits of information from that screen.
Also, once you've gotten to that screen, since you're already there, try to see if you can enter into the phone's recovery system.
1. While on the white Hboot screen (the screen sitlet directed you to) select the bootloader option.
2. The phone will then do a quick scan of the SD card to see if any flashable files exist. If it finds any and asks if you want to load them just select "no (volume down)." It will then take you to the menu screen for the bootloader.
3. Select the option labeled "Recovery."
4. The phone will then bring up the phone's splash screen. The stock splash screen is white and has "ht Evo 4G," or something like that, written in black letters.
5. The phone SHOULD enter recovery mode after displaying the splash screen. If it does then please let us know what recovery is currently loaded on the phone (The name and version of recovery will be displayed on the screen). If it doesn't then let us know that it didn't load into recovery and please let us know what exactly it did. i.e, rebooted, got stuck on splash screen, displayed error message, etc.

As long as you see the boot screen you're good. All you need to do is flash a new recovery. Search amon RA evo 4g on google
Having trouble with AOSP? http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1295702
Like Paranoia said, first thing you need to do is try and install a recovery. The red triangle with the "!" inside of it means that your phone does not have a recovery system. I'll give you a quick "how-to" since it seems like you're not 100% sure what exact steps to take. In order to fix this issue you need to install one such as Amon Ra. Here is how to do it.
1. **CLICK HERE** to download Amon Ra. Download the one labeled PC36IMG.zip.
2. Place PC36IMG.zip onto the root of your SD card. Since you can't boot into your Android system and can't access recovery you will most likely need to remove your SD card, put it in another EVO and mount the card with recovery (I'm not sure if you can mount the sd card through Hboot. I've never tried it before. If you see an option for it then go ahead and try it.). Or you can put it into an adapter and plug it directly into the computer. Either way, make sure the PC36IMG.zip file goes into the root of the sd card. ***IMPORTANT: Make sure that this file is the ONLY PC36IMG.zip file on your SD card. If it's not then you can really screw things up.
3. Put SD card back into phone (if you removed it) and then press and hold the volume down button while pressing the power button. This will bring you into HBoot. Before proceeding, check to see if the phone is rooted. If it is then you will see at the top of the white screen where it says "S-off." This means the phone is rooted. If the phone says "S-on" then the phone is NOT rooted. Once you've checked to see if the phone is rooted use the volume up/down buttons to highlight the selection named "Bootloader" and then press the power button.
4. Your phone will enter the bootloader and will automatically scan for the PC36IMG.zip file. When it finds the file it will ask if you want to apply the update. Select yes by pushing the up volume key. Let the phone do it's thing. Do not pull the battery at all during this process.
5. Once you've completed this step make sure the phone has been rebooted and then try to enter recovery mode. If it worked you will see Amon Ra pop up (check the screenshots from the link provided above to see what the Amon Ra recovery looks like). From here you can flash a custom ROM like MIUI, Cyanogenmod, Swag, Decks, etc. in order to get the system type you want and fix your phone's inability to get past the loading screen. If you decide to flash a ROM at all then please take a look at the link provided in step #6 so that you can successfully flash ROMs without any errors.
6. If the phone is not rooted, or if you want to learn more about flashing ROMs, **CLICK HERE** and read over that thread. There is a ton of helpful information in that thread.
7. If you run into any issues while trying to do any of these steps, or if any of them are unclear at all, just let us know and we'll be happy to help. If you run into something that you are not sure of....don't guess or assume. Give us a shout and let us know what the phone is saying, what a screen looks like, etc. and we will advise you on the best route to take.
Same issue
I have a similar problem it seems as though I lost my recovery (I think). I have Evo 4G and when I hold dwn volume button and pwr button it shows the boot recovery and all that (but says no image no pc36img)when I go select recovery it goes to HTC EVO white screen (after this it usually goes to revolutionary screen) but it reboots and load up in previous rom with limited access and my phone will not read SD Card but pc will. I did a factory data reset.
Upon rebooting the phone, the SD card is no longer registering (i.e. under SD & phone storage the total space says "unavailable" and both the Mount & Format SD card spots are grayed out and inform me to insert SD Card. The card is fine. I just tested it on my sony pc and it reads fine. In device manager I have 3 instances of what Windows calls Qualcomm CDMA Technologies MSM.

I just followed the steps using the PC36IMG did yes to the update once it updates asked did I want to reboot I selected yes. Before I go back to the bootloader do I need to remove the PC36IMG zip bc it keeps repeating the installation steps for this zip file or once it updates do not reboot and go straight to recovery.

Still Stuck a Little
Having some problems as posted I follow steps my Device Manager shows "Android USB Device"in the it says "My HTC" (I'm in FastBoot says FastBoot USB on phone).
I pull up cmd and enter destination (C:\cd android-sdk-windows\tools) so now I have
C:\android-sdk-windows\tools>is this where I put the command for the sd card fix bc when I do it tells me fastboot is not an internal or external command, operable prgm or batch file. I'm stuck here What could I be missing or doing wrong.
Please note that you are doing all tasks in your own risk.
Preparation:
Download a clockwork recovery img file, for me I had 5.0.2.0 ace:
download.clockworkmod.com/recoveries/recovery-clockwork-5.0.2.0-ace.imgSince I am new in this field, you may need to do a research by yourself to sure this is the img for your device.
The link having box of versions:
download.clockworkmod.com/recoveries
A new ROM, you can look in the dev. page (or you already having a ROM wanna flash)
*You may need to unzip the ROM and zip it in "storage only" mode.
*Put your re-zipped ROM file into memory card (Should be in the root directory). You can see there is a boot.img in ROM, copy it out of ROM and you will need it later.
Backup all your stuffs like SMS, contact book etc... (I had failed in SMS and all my free apps)
Step:
Go HTC dev. to unlock your boot loader, if you have the problem about cmd error (like ERROR command dont exists) in getting token, you should look step 1 really carefully because you forgot to flash the RUU (Wonder it is a popular problem...)
*At here HTC dev. will ask you to create a folder to hold adb.exe, move your boot.img into it.
After unlock your boot loader, you should see the words ***unlocked*** in HBoot screen, so then go to fastboot and still using the cmd in prev. step, hits:
fastboot flash recovery recovery.imgYes your recovery img should put together with adb.exe in the same folder
So then now you have an unlocked bootloader and a clockwork recovery in your unroot device Backup your current ROM with CW recovery AGAIN (just for some accidents if they occur...)
In CW Recovery, wipe data/factory reset, wipe cache partition, in advanced page, wipe Dalvik cache and wipe battery stats.
*This will erase your data and CANNOT undo.
Select "intall zip from sdcard", then "choose zip from sdcard", find your zipped ROM file and say Yes.
Congratulations you had successed to flash a ROM BUT if you are the first time flashing ROM on your device (and this is what supposed to be lol). Your device will freeze at the boot screen (which is white background with green words "HTC"). So then here is the last step...
Go to bootloader and enter fastboot. Remeber the boot.img? Type in:
fastboot flash boot boot.imgin cmd.
So now you can enjoy your new ROM (Most of ROMs will take a minute to boot in the first time)
These stuffs took me lot of days to research... It may have another better, easy way. But I would appreciate if there are some thanks for me

Hello!
I have my desire for more than a year, some time ago I attempted to root my phone but when using the revo ... there was no effect. I have to admit that I have no knowledge on this topic. I want someone to explain step by step what I need to do (preferably with pictures) and one by one said what happens (bootload and everything means nothing for me). I should add that I did not want to upload a new system just to get access to system files. I care about my android play in the substitution of system files. (I hope that after all this root can do).
Ur phone is s-off so to gain root all u have to do is flash superuser zip from recovery

Go here and download superuser 3.0.7 zip and put it on ur sdcard then with ur phone off hold volume down + power. Once in bootloader press volume buttons to navigate down to recovery and press power button to select, then in recovery choose install zip from sdcard and flash superuser.zip, once complete just reboot and u will have root

?!?
You're able to do a OTA 2.3.6 update? What magic do you use, or what weed are you smoking?
Can I back to stock after root? (unroot). I also want to get more space on my phone. I read about making sth on SD card but i dont know what have to do. Every tutorial is other and i dont know now how to make.
When i press power button on recovery it shows htc logo and then phone icon with green then turns into a red with an exclamation mark
nlooo: i was asking if it's an option
Any solutions to my problem? Can some one reply me please.
You have to flash a new recovery. Try running revolutionary again, and let it install ClockworkMod.
To "make your internal memory larger", you will need an ext partition on your sdcard, then install a a2sd script.

So there is next problem when you run volume - and power button and then connect to pc it say Android 1.0 ( on revo you need to update drivers but but when i try to do it, it says not found (in that folder)). I got windows 7. Also i read that revo dont allow to root phones with hboot 6.93 or i'm wrong. Sorry for bad english
//thnx for correcting me.
Another way would be through fastboot. If you search the forums, you will find a "fastboot" tool. As I am posting from my phone, and because I suffer from a severe case of laziness, you will have to find it yourself.
Another thing you need is Android Usb Drivers. Google it, download the drivers, then plug the phone in the PC. Go to Device Manager, right click the Android 1.0, then click update , then select update drivers manually. Then browse to the folder you have the android usb drivers content in.
Try using this guide.

Revolutionary would have s-offed you, and would have installed clockworkmod recovery. As you are already s-off, and have their custom hboot, revolutionary will only flash clockworkmod. It's an easy way to do it.

Flash new recovery via fastboot commands. Click adb & fastboot in my sig for a guide. then click PB99IMG 4ext recovery in my sig and download PB99IMG.zip and extract "recovery.img" (its the latest 4ext) and flash it using fastboot commands.
Or just do it the PB99IMG method, instructions r there too

Revolutionary flashed the clockworkmod. What a surprise...
Moving on. Backing up from recovery does a full backup of the current state of the phone. If you do something wrong, this will restore your phone to the exact state that it was when the backup was made. Don't forget to make one before making major changes to your phone (rom flashing).
And yes, flashing that superuser.zip will give you root.
Before flashing a rom, after you did a backup, make a factory data reset, and delete cache and dalvik. This will make a clean installation of the rom.
To move your apps from one rom to another, i recommend using Titanium Backup, and restore your apps on the new rom.
Most roms require an ext partition on your sdcard. To partition sdcard, you must flash 4ext recovery. Do this by searching the play store for "4ext recovery control" the app will flash it for you. Then, backup your sd contents to your pc ( the partition proccess will format your sd), Then reboot into recovery, select tools, partition sd-card. Make an ext4 partition of 1gb, and for the rest select 0. Then, congratz, you have an ext partition. To use it, you must flash an a2sd script. I use "mounts2sd". Google it. This script will have to be flashed to any rom you install, every time, unless the rom already has a script built in.
Then you're ready to flash any rom your heard "desires". Hehe... get it... "desires".
P.S. Gold card information:
What a Gold Card does is letting you install ROMs on your Android device that aren’t intended for your carrier. For example,if you have a T-Mobile USA HTC Desire, you can install an official ROM intended for the O2 UK HTC Desire, or even a generic ROM that isn’t locked to a carrier. It does so by disabling the CID (Carrier ID)check that the device does when installing a ROM.
If you have an unlocked desire, then you won't need a gold card.

If you backup from recovery, that backup will be saved on sdcard in the clockworkmod/backup folder.
To install a zip, go to recovery and select "install zip from sdcard" , then find and select the zip. Remember to backup first.
Usually widgets, apps in general come in .apk format. If you want to install one, just install it with root explorer. No need for recovery install.
Anyways, i'm kinda tired. If you have any more questions, ask jmcclue.

Hi,
First, there's no RUU for any 4.2.x Rom, and since you updated your hboot, you won't be able to use any of the available RUUs.
Your options are as follows:
1. Restore a nandroid backup, or, if you haven't one, download one from this One X forum.
2. Install ClockworkMod recovery, connect your phone to a computer and mount it as a USB drive, copy over your last Rom to your phone, then flash it and profit.
Note: After flashing the rom, CWM will prompt you to install ROOT, say yes and you're*rooted.
I hope this helps,
Cheers...
P.S. a simple thank you will do

Ok, lets go with option 2:
---------- Post added at 11:09 AM ---------- Previous post was at 10:14 AM ----------
1. Start with creating a fresh new folder on your favorite computer's c:\ drive (yes, you can name it "fresh").
2. Download the following files and put them all in your c:\fresh folder
A. Download Clockwork recovery from:
http://download.clockworkmod.com/recoveries/recovery-clockwork-touch-5.8.4.0-endeavoru.img and rename it
to CWM.img
B. Since your firmware (boot & hboot images) are only compatible with the latest 4.18.x ROM, you should download
this STOCK 4.18.401 ROM:
http://www.androidrevolution.nl/downloader/download.php?file=One_X_4.18.401.2_odexed.zip
C. You really want ROOT access, so download this:
http://xda7.androidrevolution.nl/db...ns/Android_Revolution_HD_Root_and_BusyBox.zip
3. You're now ready to put your phone back in action, so let's get to work:
A. Turn your phone OFF by holding Power button for 10 seconds, as soon as its off, hold down the "Volume Down"
key to start in Hboot, then go into Fastboot.
B. Connect your phone to your computer, open a command prompt window as administrator, and issue a
"cd c:\fresh" command.
C. Install ClockworkMod recovery by typing: fastboot flash recovery cwm.img
D. When flashing is done (successfully), disconnect your phone, Restart it and choose recovery. Wait until recovery
is loaded, then connect your phone to your computer, and on your phone, select "mounts and storage", then
select "mount usb...". Your phone should now appear as a new USB drive on your computer.
E. copy the rom you downloaded (One_X_4.18.401.2_odexed.zip) from your c:\fresh\ folder to your phone's
mounted drive (in my computer).
F. Select Unmount on your phone, and navigate back to CWM's top menue, select install zip from sdcard, and select
the ROM file you just copied from your computer to flash it.
G. When you're done flashing the ROM, flash "Android_Revolution_HD_Root_and_BusyBox.zip" to gain root.
H. Restart your phone and wait for your brand new ROM to boot.
I. PROFIT!!!!
Let me know how that goes... and, once more, a simple "thank you" will do.
Wait wait waittttt !!!
