Features:
2x Battery Life
Moves Power Button to Front
Looks like a very cool accessory, though I feel they'll need to do better with the pricing..
Very cool and I agree with you that the price needs to come down a bit. These companies making cases need to keep in mind that the tablet itself cost $200. Paying $60 for a case is not very practical imo. People put $30 cases on their $500 phones which seems a bit more reasonable.
Although tablets are bigger than phones....I don't think it constitutes twice the cost.

looks neat though there is no way to order it online

I don't see how paying $500 for a phone is reasonable. My leather Belkin case cost 40 bucks. $60 is reasonable considering it double battery life.
Just what the Fire needed - the added weight of an additional battery!
Sent from my Kindle Fire using Tapatalk
I don't think I've ever had enough battery problems to warrant spending $60 on 2x the battery life. I do throw my kindle into my book bag often though, so I will stick with my durable case so the screen stays pristine.
Yeah, for the price ill stick with the chargers.
My only wish is the battery pack would have in integrated mic and volume buttons. Other than that it looks pretty neat!
SD Card slot would of been nice too!
That looks like a nice case. The price doesn't seem that bad saying it doubles the battery life. The extra size would probably almost be a good thing for me since the Kindle Fire is a smaller sized tablet. I might consider getting that case eventually.
This is pretty slick if you are away from a place where you can charge on a frequent basis. The price is a tad high but not that much more than the leather Marware case my wife bought me. Personally, I'm holding out for when USB OTG is enabled and evaluating my options (maybe a case with keyboard or sdcard).

Good for the future
This may not be the right case, but it means that you can make use of the micro usb port. Hopefully we will be able to add a mic or and SD card, that would make this thing worth $60 or more. I would love to have a few more options on my kindle, maybe a camera?
It looks pretty cool, but the Fire is already heavy, this will just add more weight
It's a neat idea, but the battery life of the Kindle Fire is the least of my worries. Thanks for sharing though!

I was thinking the same thing: Double battery + Case for 60 USD seems like a good deal to me, only problem is the bulkness added to the KF, might want to try it first before buying.
I want one. Since my computer crashed last week. I use my kindle often. Saving up for a imac. So ill probably use my kindle for awhile. Lol

Double the battery and it shouldn't be too bulky on an already thin phone... I'll take one thanks
I can't wait for this
Looks cool!
How much are you guys willing to pay for this? I wont pay more than $45, I'd rather pay that amount for the FFC that works now.

I am such a battery junkie, I would pay $45 for double the battery life. I am thinking the coupon will give like free shipping for $5 dollars off.
This looks good, actually the only extended battery item I would consider.
can someone describe a little more about this?
does it hold an extra battery? does it have a built in battery that is 2x the capacity?
think i wouldn't buy any extended battery life w/case cause it makes it too bulky. that picture don't seems too thick but once u put it on it would make lot difference. and it beats whole purpose of getting thin sexy vibrant. i rather wait for actually battery it self. i heard in korea soon releasing the battery
They already have a code for 25% off and free shipping, using the code "CHARGEON" at checkout.
It's under the "Where to buy" button.

Battery itself??? What kind of battery is that youre expecting? 1650 mah or higher? And it's suppose to be the same size like vibbie batt? Can u send me a link or something to that news because i didn't know. Thank you

Doesnt seem like a bad deal. The my touch case is $59. I paid $30 for my case mate tough case.
It's an excellent deal. I've seen these on IPhone and they are pretty frikken thin, it's essentially all battery over the dimensions of the case so you don't have that retarded 4" thick phone you get with the 2300 mah batts. I have 3 batts and an external charger and it's a pain in the ass to have to reboot several times a day.
Don't blame me, blame my keyboard's autocorrection algorithm.
Notice on the side profile pics that the backside no longer has a hump. You can gauge from there how much thicker your phone might be.

IuNlockeM Are you talking about the Vibrant 4g battery?
Does anyone have any recommendations to a good extended life battery? I would prefer one that isn't so bulky but I want really good battery life. Battery Life is more important to me but a balance of bulkyness and battery life would be good.

Careful...
I read on a previous battery thread that this company gets poor reults. The other thread posted a site that had testing results for a bunch of battery manufactures.... I would google it.
On the other side it's only $9 bucks so may be worth it even if it ends up being a 2nd battery.
As for external chargers they are all over Ebay for dirt.

yeah that price is very sketchy. the cheap eBay extended batteries have proven to never be even close to the advertised capacity. sometimes they turned out to be even less than the stock batteries. I'd expect the same out of this one seeing as legitimate extended batteries usually range in the $30-50 dollar range.

I read that thread as well but it was for the hero. For whatever some aftermarket batteries perform differently on different platforms. I just ordered a trexcell and can review it later. I hate that reviews only come out after the break in period. No one else does long standing reviews.
I plan on trying the andida one next round if the price goes back down.

Here you go. I purchased one of these for my 3D and 2 for my ET4G. I'm getting 30+ hrs with moderate to heavy usage. Definitely on par with the Seidio but at half the cost. It does add a bump and some weight to the phone but IMO it actually makes the phone feel more solid. It feels cheap with just the stock battery.

Here is a good battery setup i use!
I have had very good luck with this setup...
http://www.amazon.com/Hyperion-Spri..._1_5?s=wireless&ie=UTF8&qid=1333305053&sr=1-5
With it being 20.00 you just cant go wrong... 2 BATTERIES, WALL CHARGER and it performs way better than the stock batteries. I charge them from the wall charger and when i install the battery it actualy stays at100% for over 30 minutes of use before i see 99% and 98% just amazing. this pic i posted is from heavy use with the battery. Im ALWAYS on the phone lol. Also I always have my brightness at max!
I have the traxcell extended battery and its worth it. I love that I can still have a case for it
I have tried the extended batteries and have never been impressed. I just ordered the amazon batteries/charger deal suggested by davidstjohn1.
I seldom get through a day without changing my battery at least once. I figure since I paid a premium price for the Galaxy II I may as well enjoy the beauty of the screen. I got rid of the screen protector too and use rain-x on it which works great.
http://www.amazon.com/Trexcell-Sams..._1_2?s=wireless&ie=UTF8&qid=1333320158&sr=1-2
This is cheaper and eliminates the need to switch batteries, and I think it makes the phone a good weight. To each his own tho.
Also whats the point of the rain-x, to reduce finger prints?

There is also a nice TPU cover made to fit the extended profile. I am tempted to get it but then again I have no issues with the stock battery. But I never use 4g.

I also have the tpu cover. The back that comes with it is slippery so the case is a must for me. I had never dropped my phone before I put on the extended battery, then I dropped it twice that week. I ordered the case and have been fine since.
Right now I am at 17% with being on battery for 1d 10h on codename ROM. Sooooo worth it
Now it all comes back to me. I like the Samsung TPU cover and the one I got with my extended battery was a slippery POS. There is also the fatter profile. I like the lighter thinner look (as I wish my meat body was).
Rain-X is THE best solution I have found for fingerprints. Only works on glass though. I tried it on my Gtab first and now use it on my Galaxy S and even my eye glasses. I live in New York City so don't have/need a car but I once treated my windshield before a drive in the rain from LV to LA and didn't have to use the windshield wipers once - the raid just blew off.

It's not an extended battery, its a RECHARGE pack. You hook it up and can switch it on to recharge the stock battery...thus, basically doubling the stock battery.

Just bought this at best buy yesterday for $59. Had no clue they cost $99 cause they had no sale price or anything on the shelf but after I bought it I looked online and saw it was advertised for $40 off After using it for a day and a half I probably would have paid the $99 if I knew it was this badass. The look and feel of it is just awesome and it makes the phone very comfortable to hold. Yes it doubles the thickness of the phone and ads a little more weight but having the ability to recharge my phone at the flick of a switch is awesome for a heavy user like me. Ive only charged the case one full charge last night and ran my phone down to 4% today then turned the case on and it charged the phone back up to 83% before it was drained but I also used the phone for about an 45 minutes while it was charging back up. All I can say is this is one sick ass case.
Yeah I bought it on the first day of release for $99. Its definitely worth it. Good for you on the $49 tho.

For $40 you can get a 9000mAh external battery. It's not as cool as just flipping a switch but I prefer that to adding bulk to my phone and it can charge the phone and other devices multiple times.

True. The deciding factor for me getting this case is the "extra" conviency of not being bothered with constant plugging/unplugging, carrying additional items, and also an added protection to the phone. I guess you can say convergence cost a little extra. After looking at both options, I concluded the value of convergence, despite the extra cost, was much greater to me in my everyday activities.

Looks like iOttie is taking reservations for their Qi car mount. Spoiler alert: It's $80.
http://www.iottie.com/Product/ProductDetail.aspx?ProductID=1058&ProductType=321
I was hoping for a $40-50 price point. So, yeah, I'm a little disappointed.
Yeah $80 is way too high especially when you can get more "Premium" Chinese Qi Car docks for about $45. I figured the price was going to be more than we requested when the "Rep" that had the iOttie post suddenly went silent. $50 was just the high end of Purchasable range. $80 is high even if there were NO other options on the market. Heck the OwlPad sold for LESS than that much when it came out...over a year ago. So yeah makes me feel the company is trying to fleece the N5 owners.
Hey guys,
We did not go quiet on the postings - we were just advised from XDA moderators that that kind of posting is not permitted within the forums.
We do appreciate the constructive feedback with regards to our product & pricing. We will pass that information onto our management team for more detailed review.
I would buy it for around $40-50 but definitely not at $80.
80? This is why I've refused to buy the tylt vu. I have zero problem shelling out cash for accessories but that's ridiculous.

80? Probably cost 15 to make at those quantities. I'll pass, thanks.
the air dock is better than this, and it costs less at $69, but even that's still way too expensive for this kind of thing. $80 is just ridiculous.

Other than the Air Dock which was a Kickstarter but now goes for $69 now and the OwlPad which has been out for OVER a year which sells for $57. There are others on Amazon and Aliexpress from $35-50 depending on quality. $80 for a plain old QI charger is just over priced. For $69 at least the Airdock has the Magnets for the N5 included in the design.
One thing to consider with a wireless charger dock for the car is how much flexibility in positioning it offers, cause most of the time, you'll probably need to put it where it can get some direct air conditioning. This Easy Flex Wireless, if it's like the Easy Flex 3, can be rotated 360° and put the phone hanging in front of the vents of my car.
Does anyone know if this will work with case on. I would get it but I wanna know if can have a case on my nexus and it will still work. If you know the answer please let me know. Thanks

It does, like any other Qi charger. IIRC Qi can do something like half an inch distance. In any case, it should be fine for any cases that are not battery cases or metal ones.
Not bad, but bouncy....
I pre-prdered this dock using the Facebook coupon, and it arrived over the weekend. I tried it out in the hopes that it would not exhibit the bounciness that the other wireless charging dock I ordered had.
I used my phone, both with and without it's TPU case (my phone is an LG G2) in this dock and on all but the smoothest of roads (I live in Michigan, so "smooth road" is almost an oxymoron) the bounce is very noticeable. There is just too much flex in the arm of the dock.
I have written to them via their facebook page in hopes that I receive a reply and hopefully a solution.
The pricing is now $69.95 on amazon

Any thoughts? Should I cancel the pre-order or is Amazon reliable when in helping to avoid fraud?
I just saw this, it's not that expensive, please post IF you get it with pictures as to how thick, hand feel, and so on. I'd be very interested in it if it's not going to make my device look like a brick from the 90s.
There's about 5 pages of questions now and there's a LOT of discrepancy between what the "description" states and what the answers from the seller state:
Description: has a kickstand
Seller answer: has not kickstand
Seller keeps saying you can wirelessly charge with this case in the questions, I WANT to know how that will work. I may order this JUST to see if any of the hype is true
It looks monstrously big for the s8 plus
Update: They increased the price from $26.99 to $39.99. That sounds more realistic now. Also the picture is different and it looks a bit more clunky than the original images. Once I get it I will post pictures of it and give a review.
No way that's 5500 is such a slim case, this case is 5500mah look at that fatty https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06ZXYRCKM/ref=psdc_7073960011_t1_B06Y63HPCL
Okay, holy mother of crap, that thing is huge.
I just could never do a case that big...not with phones this size. Holy crap i can't imagine that in my pocket.

Plus I foresee a case that thick making the fingerprint sensor unusable.

Please post feedback when you get it.
It may not be the slickest case but if it does add 5000mAh then it can be a backup plan for a weekend outdoors. There are times when having a battrey pack makes it much more clunky than a battery case, no matter how bigger it makes the phone.

So, let's see what could possibly go wrong:
Third-party company that no one has ever heard of making a battery case that doesn't even agree with its own pictures of the product/product description
Will it overheat? No, why would you think that?
Will it make your phone burst into flames? Why would that be an issue?
Will it actually work as stated? Sure, so many of the cheap knockoff battery cases work just great.
Please do post how this works out for you. Also, make sure you have a spare device from which to call 911 (or 999 depending on your location)
Best power case would be zerolemon when it comes out
Just ordered this one from Amazon. It's in stock and I will get it monday and let you know how it is.

I guess there's one manufacturer that makes all of these cheap power cases for any brand. The price is great but I wouldn't risk an S8+ for a 50$ price difference. And everything above 3000 mAh will add too much bulk. Don't bother and think that it won't look like a brick. I was prepared to order the Mophie but got insulted by their bad marketing moves. Articles all over the web about the release of the legendarry Juice Pack, and all I got was a coming soon warning! No Thanks. As djhulk2 said I would go with the ZeroLemon or the I-blades. Remember these are brands, plus the I-blades adds extra memory, a platform for other modules and Military Grade Certificate.
They should have different size of batteries...maybe 1000mAh, a 2000mAh, and 3000mA

There are numerous choices out there (just from a google search using the terms S8+ battery cases):
https://powerpluscases.com/collecti...-galaxy-s8-plus-battery-extender-case-5500mah
https://i-blades.com/products/galaxy-s8-plus-case-battery-life-memory
https://www.amazon.com/ICONIC-Portable-External-Protective-Charging/dp/B06ZZB2QYC (has a code of 2RADT4V8 for $10 off making the price about $30, know NOTHING about this battery, BGR is hyping it)
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B06ZZB2QYC/ (another case with a code HC7VJ26M for more of a discount, again another site is promoting this)
https://www.amazon.com/Rechargeable-External-Portable-Protective-Kickstand/dp/B06Y63HPCL/ref=sr_1_5 (no idea about this)
https://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_...+battery+case&rh=i:aps,k:s8+plus+battery+case (a generic search for s8 Plus battery case on amazon)
And that was about 10 minutes worth of looking. There are PLENTY of options out there, just got to be willing to look.
