Hello it has been around 2 months that i have rooted my DHD with ARHD 6.20 and it is working great with the sense 3.0. A friend has htc sensation XE with originial sense 3.0 and i noticed that there is a carousel effect in his sense 3.0.
Is there a problem with the Custom ROM or is there something that i didnt do correctly the first time?

Mine works fine.. The problem is you need to swipe like "crazy" before it shows up. By the way I am on a stock ROM. Try swiping your home screen as fast and crazy as you can and it will show up

They probably wont port it officially. Doesnt make good business sense.
agreed, HTC won't release the Sensation/Kingdom sense 3.0 ROM's under the excuse that the DHD does not have the necessary hardware to support. In reality it's to make sure that we all buy the latest and greatest new handset.
I was running the Kingdom v.0.2 by Capychimp and RCMix and it was excellent, very impressive but still too many issues to be a daily runner for me. Future updates will be excellent I'm sure
also i´m running leedroid current version and 304 kernel with kalagas mixed and running lockscreen, weather, and sms-mms by sense 3.0!
ok , but in the capy's Rom de navi bar is not the same , the icons are more smaller than the original sense3.0 navi bar .. and the resolution is not clean
When can benefit us of one Fully Ported Sense 3.0 on our DHD ?? i mean cause it's still a 2.1 Sense with some modification ..

There are two roms with real sense 3.0 http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1079108, this is real sens 3.0 ported from htc kingdom so have fun
Hi, as above I would like to find out which is the best 2.3 Gingerbread ROM with Sense 3.0.
I have updated like probably most to the 2.3 Gingerbread OTA update but Sense 3.0 is missing and probably won't come from HTC seeing as they have stated 3.0 needs the hardware which the DHD isn't in their opinion. But as we know that's bull crap as the DHD can run Sense 3.0.
Just would like to get opinions from frequent ROM users and possibly devs as what's the best one to be looking at as I'm completely new to custom ROM's.

go with i00's true sense 3.0

Any way there are only two sense 3.0 roms over xda... i00 and RCmix.... Shoot them one by one and you may find the best one for you.
well if you insist then... After using RCmix for a while, I flashed an i00, and is working as my daily driver.... no operational bugs so far...

Tried both.. i00 boots up much faster runs smoother updates weather but doesnt recognize chinese korean japanese chracters..
kingdom boots a bit slower, meaning sticky on the scrolling in program but smoother on the sense
Hi thanks all, I appreciate the input as I'm new to ROM's I may have been here a while but have just stuck with stock.
Can anyone confirm do both the Kingdom and i00 ROM's have root access already? They both look excellent so I wasn't sure. I'm now looking at ROM's as the 2.3 update all us stock users had really is missing Sense 3.0 so these ROM's actually are better by the looks than what HTC themselves give us

Leedroid GB with latest kernel is extremely fast GB rom, and apply kingdom lockscreen for the extra 3.0 sense elements!

i tried many possibilities for have the sense 3.0 and finally like my signature says this is my super stable, beautiful & fast combination
really for me... lee bailey´s roms are totally awesome
EDIT:i used kingdom´s sense 3.0 (weather, mms, etc...)
lockscreen goes by default with kalagas theme

not true.. you can add sense 3.0 to your gb rom (only with pure framework like WEE 2.3xx) see kingdom thread in dev. secction

Can either the Kingdom or i00 rom be used for daily use yet?
Just I noticed some functionality like srs isn't working from the bug list. Just wondering which is the closest to perfection?
I have tried both, and the latest Kingdom release beats i00 hands down.
Kingdom's 'Android' widget ratios are just about spot on, so none-Sense widgets display correctly. This is a major issue on i00's, and the deal winner for me.
Very stable (no random reboots or f/c's), good battery life and fine for every day use. The autoinstall is an absolute must.
I tried Kingdom - gallery widget is out of line to the left, Twitter widget not working, other widgets far to small as its for a larger screen, video camera and sound is awful and not sure how that latter part can have optimization for DHD as certainly can't record 1080p on a DHD as it already struggles with 720p in stock.

I've tried i00, but switched back to MDJ's ViVO sense which is lightning fast and has almost all Sense 3.0 features.
I want a basic sense 2.0 rom. Where everything works. Recommendations? AOSP is my first joy, now i wanna explore sense. :-D

Why stop at 2.0, jump into Newtoroots Hybrid sense 3.0. Also check out Nils business sense 2.1 with som 3.0 mixed in.
I tried MIUI for the first time (1st AOSP rom ever for me). I'm liking it alot.

try warm z twopointwo and use my stock theme if you want it stock found here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1033311 or try any of the roms in my signature they're pretty much stock

I've been using it for almost a month now and I love it. It's solid and stable, and to me...better than SR 4.0.
One of the things I really love about his ROM is that he didn't remove the HTC hub, and everything from the HTC hub works on the ROM except the widgets section and a couple addons. All themes/skins, sounds, and wallpapers on the hub work.
I've been trying out a few other Sense 2.0 ROMs with the DualRom X2 and I always keep coming back to Incubus Stock 2.0
thanks guys, but totally unrelated. i cant get any of the OMFGB nightlies to flash at all. they just boot loop, and loop and loop
I would agree, Warm Z 2.2 is pretty slick. I am currently running their Synergy Nightlies which hopefully soon will become 2.3. Sense 3.0 is great, i mainly use it for the kick-a$$ lock screen. The rest kinda gets covered with Luancher Pro that i run. The nightlies have their share of bugs, but are nearly there.
Hi guys don't Sopose if any one knows if it possible to use the HTC navigation on the new gingerbread release as I like the ginger bread Rom but I use the HTC navigation but its only available at the moment on sense 2. 1 so was wondering if able to port or get it to work on the new gingerbread release
Just grab a custom rom with Sense 2.1
+1. You know you'll have to buy it once the trial month expires? But turn-by-turn is much better than in google maps and voice guidance sounds much more natural.
Maple some of the 2.1 are little unstable or have sense 3.0 stuff I don't know any plain sense with HTC navigation
Hence thought if some one could port it to the new gingerbread releases as its very stable
Erklat Yh I no buddy the navigation is very good n price is only 19. 99 for UK for full subscription but I get sick off sense 3.0 lagging up the device

It has 3.0 add on pack. SGBS also has 2.1, I used that navigation for a few days with it and it works just fine.
I could only find sgbs light as that didn't have the navigation lol bit the light version worked a charm apart from navigation

I have strange question
Is there a custom from for HTC one which has sense 3.x not the new sense 4
The reason for asking this is that I like sense 3.x more than 4
Sense 4 not scrolling in loop from left to right or the other way you have to go back
Sense 4 doesn't have the 3d effect when you scroll fast like sense 3.x has
I don't know why HTC changed that
no answer for my question ??
