Are there any ROMs available for the DInc2 with rotation animations besides Mikrunny and ICS?

What rotation animations are you talking about?
The carousel rotation on the home screen?

Like on ICS when you turn your phone to watch a video or something the screen doesn't just pop into the new angle, it rotates beautifully.
Yes you can on MIUI. Under launcher settings, transition effects.

Nooo..... That's for transitioning between home screens. Not what he's talking about.

Honestly the only two builds available that do that right now is sense 3.5 roms and aosp 4.0 roms. Sense 3.5 roms don't do it that great though because they are based off leaked builds and not fully hardware accelerated like ICS is. The rotation animations were something that the hardware companies started adding to their new UI builds, all of them have it, Sense, TouchWiz, Motoblur etc. Google didn't add it on their vanilla roms until 4.0 though.
Inc2HD also has rotation animations, I believe. But that is also by Newt and basically the same as mikrunny.

Hey Guys and Girls,
I love roms,I am always flashing new ones but I have an idea and I need help getting it.So I like sense but love gingerbread, the thing i love about sense is the lock screen where i can drag the apps to the bubble.Thats pretty much it,so I want to have gingerbread as my actual home screen, app screen, and for my keyboard.I know this sounds pretty crazy but can anyone help me find a rom or apps that can help my obtain this.Answers to this quetion would be very appreciated
install a sense rom then install a launcher from the market
Sent From My Optimized HTC Incredibly Since
Agile lock from the market is a nice sense 3.0 lockscreen clone. Its still inferior as the software is a little edgy and there aren't any sms previews like the sense 3.0 one has. I currently use this with CM7 along with sms popup from the market and it works great.
Otherwise download a stable sense rom with the sense 3.0 lockscreen (Nils Gingersense, Synergy) and use a different launcher.
There's also SupraROM which is an AOSP Sense 3.0 mix, but I'm not sure if it has the sense lockscreen.

I know when I ran MIUI about a month ago there was a Sense ring lockscreen you could install in Theme Manager. The downside was I couldn't figure out how to pick what apps other than the ones it gave you. Maybe that's changed, not sure there.

Ah right, I forgot about this option.
I do believe that they can be changed. You have to edit a text file though so its not as easy as HTC makes it. There's a MIUI lockscreen thread with a few of those sense ring lockscreen alternatives. However they all have one thing in common: when releasing the ring, the screen immediately unlocks. No cool "fly through the ring" effect.

Div033 is correct on the MIUI sense 3.0 lockscreens, they look pretty much identical but lack the fancy animation.
I'm not sure what the OP means by this:

By gingerbread, do you mean the stock AOSP look? Because if so, you could use agile lock on CM7, like has already been mentioned, or maybe try the synergy rom with the warm theme. It has the sense 3.0 lockscreen but is themed with quite a few AOSP gingerbread elements.
Hey everyone,
Any way to use bliss sense rotate animation (or another rotate animation) on the other roms? (Virtuos Unity etc.)

I haven't tried the Bliss ROM, but if the rotate animation is the same as on the HTC Flyer (which I assume it is), it works in just about EVERYTHING (all apps that auto-rotate), not just rosie.

I think the best way is to install LauncherPro. Its Free and does not interfere with the rest of the Sense stuff.
So you have wat you want a rotating Homescreen and all features of Sense.
Im not saying rotate the rosie its imposible bliss rom too but messages app peopels etc rotating with animation. Im saying any way to rotate messages app with animation.. (other roms)
I just installed Gingerbangvanilla 1.7 and I like it, but I was wondering if there was any way to customize the launcher, i.e. disable home screen looping, edit number of home screens, change lock screen. I came from the Fascinate and loved TSM on it but was hoping for "TSM Parts"
Go get ROM manager and tsm pool party is in there. Its a direct port from pool party on the fascinate if I'm not mistaken.

tsm parts is kind of straight forward to port to samsung touchwiz phones, but is insanely difficult (at least for me) to make work on a sense rom
i *think* i might be able to get the status bar tweaks working on it...but lockscreens are more difficult as samsung already allowed for multiple lockscreens by default in touchwiz (glass, puzzle) so it was a lot simpler (still insane)
but my focus was to make stable roms off the latest ota and add various tweaks as i could...and i think the results have been good so far

yes, poolparty is an aosp port by omj of sbrissen's version on the fascinate...if you want tsm parts on this phone thats the way to go (awesome rom!)
Right now I'm using MIUI and I'm loving it. You can get tons of different themes and lockscreens. And if you don't like the iPhone like launcher, download a different one like go launcher ex. My personal favorite. I'm using the stock MIUI launcher.

I love the stability of this ROM so I'll deal with the lockscreen and I installed GO Launcher EX. My main problem with AOSP ROMs is the mail app has a problem with Hotmail so this will work for now.

sense 3.0 lockscreen (which is available by patch for gingerbangvivow) would require rosie to work correctly...well at least to edit/use properly...as personalize doesnt work with the sense launcher (you would be stuck with whatever settings/skins u had pre-flash
alternative lockscreens are extremely difficult in sense besides aosp (well super easy) and rotary (not easy but its in the framework already)...nothing is impossible of course...just beyond my scope of abilities
Hi,
Is it possible for someone to create the CRT Locking animation found in Cyanogenmod ROMs for the Wildfire S? I just want the custom lockscreen animation, without the custom ROM.
I believe the lockscreen animation is a feature of AOSP gingerbread, but htc disables it for sense.

yeap... it was a big feature when gingerbread came.... i just wonder why htc removed it ...
if there is anyone that can look into the stock sense and see if it is only disabled and still left there or totally removed...
though i think that it is totally removed so sense would be lighter ... i mean, everyone wants the os to be as light as it can get... speed ftw ...
Does anyone have an install APK for a sense 3.5 lockscreen that works on CM7?
I find the brilliance in sense the lockscreen, as it is beautiful, but i like CM7 way more than the sense 3.5 roms posted here.
No warez though, already checked the GO locker sense 3.5 but it looks horrible and not like sense at all. there is a magiclocker sense but it is paid.
You can try milocker.... its free on the market
Just remember.....the themes provided or from its online store are for bigger resolutions but you can get ported themes here

CM7 (At least the latest nightly, I'm not sure about the earlier cases) has a locker more usable than Sense 3.5's.
Lockscreen Settings->Style Options
Lockscreen Style -> Ring
Ring-Lock Style (Just themes)
And more importantly:
Enable "Custom App Starter"
Custom Application - You can add up to four applications!
So basically, you get four applications, unlock button and vibrate/sound button. Beats sense (Otherwise, I preferred the 3.5 locker too!)
I couldn't get a full screenshot but touching the middle button brings up four apps.
If you still want the sense look exactly, you'll need to use third party apps but I generally don't like using third party lockers.
